General Info:
Pocahontas is the brave Native American young lady, wo tries to make peace between her tribe and the Jamestown settlers. She is the title character from the 1995 Disney movie Pocahontas. Other characters from her movie include Meeko the
racoon, the villain Ratcliff, and very rarely her dear friend John Smith. Pocahontas and John Smith never got a romance going in their movie, so they aren't an item or anything. Anyways, Pocahontas has been consistantly meeting at Animal Kingdom, in
Conservation Station at Rafiki's Planet Watch (the place you take the train to). She seems to be there almost daily. She also has made rarer appearances at Disney-Hollywood Studios near the Big Hat, and sometimes in Adventureland (but
not recently). So Animal Kingdom is definitely the best place to find her. And if you meet Pocahontas, she may ask you what tribe you are from (and do you know?).

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
