General Info:
Mowgli is the boy who was raised with animals in the jungles of India. He is from the classic 1967 Disney movie The Jungle Book. At Disney World, he's a character who has made very, very rare appearances
over the last few years. But finally he was out more recently, and made a handful of appearances - people reported meeting him at Animal Kingdom, in the front of the park by the entrance. These appearances were tied to the release
of the Jungle Book on DVD. There was also a big special event party at Animal Kingdom in Sept 2007, that Mowgli made appearances at inbetween torential rainstorms! As for his future, he will probably only be a special events
character, or just making very rare sporatic appearances. Well, at least Mowgli got out a few times this decade. And that skin-colored tight shirt he wears looks a little bit odd to us, but hey, it will do!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
