General Info:
Mickey Mouse needs no introduction! He is the #1 most recognizable character, hands down! At Disney World, there are so many places to meet Mickey the Big Cheese himself!
Mickey can be found at many different character meals. He appears at the Garden Grill at Epcot, Backyard Barbeque at Fort Wilderness (seasonal though), and of course Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary! At the parks, he has places where he always can
found. At Magic Kingdom, Mickey is always in ToonTown in the Judge's Tent; at Animal Kingdom he is on a trail in Camp Minnie-Mickey; and at Epcot he is in the Character Spot. At Disney Hollywood (that's MGM to us older folks), he is usually inside
the Animation Building, wearing his classic red sorcerer's outfit from Fantasia. So there is no excuse for not meeting Mickey - everyone going to Disney World must stop and say hi and get a photo with Mickey at some point!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
