General Info:
Max is a somewhat obscure character at Disney - either you know and love him, or you have no clue who he is! He is Goofy's son, and Max appeared in 1995's A Goofy Movie and also the Toon Disney cartoon Goof Troop.
At Disney World, he is an unusual character, but he does get out! He doesn't really have a spot that he pops up in consistantly, so it can take some luck to find him. We seen him most often at the ToonTown Train Station area, but this spot is
sporatically used. We heard of him being at the Big Hat at Disney-Hollywood Studios. We also seen him in Town Square at Magic Kingdom, and also at Mickey's Christmas parties. Just so hard to predict where
Max might show up! When we met Max - we asked him the burning question everyone wants to know - Who is your mother? He thought for a second, then gave the biggest shrug - he himself doesn't know! Poor Max. Guess we all will never know now.

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
