Lady Tremaine
Why oh why did Cinderella's father marry her?

She stopped being mean long enough to give us an autograph

Lady Tremaine

A Character From the Movie: Cinderella

Common or Rare: Out Often & Findable     (Click to see common/rare scale)

Note: Fully admit our family is taking a break from Disney and are no longer updating this site at this time (2009). Information is probably out-of-date.

Best Spot for meeting this character (if there is one!): 1900 Park Faire Dinner; behind the Castle or in Belle's Fairytale Theater at Magic Kingdom

Your Chances of Finding This Character: Very good chance at the 1900 Park Faire Dinner!

General Info: Unfortunately for Cinderella, she can't even live in peace at Disney World. Yes, her evil stepmother has shown up to cause trouble! Her stepmother is named Lady Tremaine, and she is from the 1950 Disney movie Cinderella. Lady Tremaine is cold, calculating, and cruel, yet always has elegance and class. She shows her true nature once again in the 2007 movie Cinderella 3, where she uses magic to try to get her daughters to marry the prince, and basically tries to banish Cinderella to the farthest reaches of the land! What a villain! At Disney World, Lady Tremaine is one of the newer characters out meeting. She now meets at the 1900 Park Faire dinner at the Grand Floridian Resort, along with her daughters and Cinderella. Lady Tremaine also meets at Princess and Pirate parties, and also at some of 2007's Halloween parties at the Magic Kingdom, usually meeting somewhere around the Castle. Beware when you meet her - she is one cold lady!

Where we met Cindy's Stepmom:

Feb 2007 - Back side of Castle in Fantasyland (Magic Kingdom)
Feb 2007 - (Princess and Pirates Party) - Back side of Castle in Fantasyland (Magic Kingdom)

Character Hunting Tips: - Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also the places we seen this character on our week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008). Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice enough to help us out! Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know everything about every character! But we tried to list good places to look and recent reliable sightings of that character!

Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult! One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one! Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes! Your best bet to find your favorite character is to read various character websites (check links here!), or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they can tell you where a character is meeting people that day), or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
