General Info:
Hades is the sinister Lord of the Underworld, from the 1997 Disney movie Hercules. He is one villain you don't want to mess with! At Disney World, he is an extremely rare character, usually only appearing in parades. We didn't even know
he was a meet-and-greet character until a fellow character fan met Hades by the Big Hat at Disney-MGM Studios. He was available meeting guests back in January 2007, during the Disney Marathon. The Disney Marathon takes place every year on a Sunday
in January, and usually some extra characters are out meeting the runners. Fortunately, Hades was meeting runners as well as normal park guests. As for the future of Hades, no idea at alll! We didn't hear of anyone seeing him at other Marathons
since then, and we have no idea if he will ever just get out meeting on normal park days. But well, if Hades got out once, at least maybe he could return again!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
