General Info:
Goliath is probably one of the most obscure characters to ever meet at Disney World. What is he? A Gargoyle, that's what! He is from the Gargoyles cartoon that aired on television from about 1994 until 1997.
His character is very moral, though definitely has his dark side! Goliath used to make appearances at Disney World, during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween parties at Magic Kingdom. We personally saw him there in 2003 and 2004. But since then, he has
stopped making appearances, and it's very very unlikely he will ever come back again. When he was meeting, few people had any clue who the heck he was! I heard people call him Hercules, which isn't even remotely close!
Even though big and scary, Goliath was a fun guy to meet and a great photo op! We would love for him to return someday, but alas it appears he is gone for good now. Bye bye Goliath!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
