General Info:
Fairy Godmother is the magical guardian who saves Cinderella from a life of misery, and helps her find her prince charming. Fairy Godmother is from, of course, the 1950 classic Disney movie Cinderella. She is a very easily recognizable
character - you don't have to memorize the Cinderella movie to know who Fairy Godmother is! At Disney World, Fairy Godmother usually appears daily at the Cinderella character meal at the Castle. We never been to this meal, so I am not exactly sure
when she is there (sorry!). And it's possible to attend on a bad day when she is absent (but let's hope that doesn't happen). She used to make appearances at the 1900 Park Faire character dinner with Cinderella, but she is not there anymore.
She also often does meeting behind The Castle on normal park days. So there are a couple of places to find her - when you meet her, remember to say Bibbidy-Bobbity-Boo!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
