General Info:
Darby is one of the newer characters to Disney World, so don't feel bad if you don't know who she is! She is a young girl who hangs out with Pooh and gang, as one of their new friends in the 100 Acre Woods. She stars in
the Disney Channel show My Friends Tigger and Pooh. At Disney World, she has been making appearances at Magic Kingdom, in Pooh's playground area in the back of Fantasyland. She was quite regular when she first came out in 2007, but
her appearances may have become more infrequent starting later in 2008. We aren't sure how often she gets out anymore, and we heard her show was cancelled, too! So the future remains to be seen with Darby.
We were afraid that she replaced Christopher Robin, but we been assured that isn't her intent, she is just a new friend for the gang to be with. Whew!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
