General Info:
Brer Rabbit is the rabbit who wants to get out of his comfortable home in the Briar Patch, and venture out and see more of the world! He is the lead animated character in the little-known Disney movie from 1946, Song of the South. This
particular movie has not been released on DVD or video in years, so most people have never seen it. But Brer Rabbit is far better known as the rabbit from the Splash Mountain Ride at Magic Kingdom, which is based on Song of the South. At
Disney World, Brer Rabbit gets out, but remains rather rare. He pops up in front of Animal Kingdom sometimes, in the area near the ticket turnstiles. He also been known to pop up near Splash Mountain, but you just never know when that will be!
Animal Kingdom has been the more consistant location. And whatever you do, don't call him the Quix Bunny (the one who advertises chocolate milk - he has nothing to do with that stuff!).

Rarely | - | ToonTown Train Station/Tear Drop (Magic Kingdom) (very random and seasonally used location) |

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
