General Info:
Beast is a very unusual character at Disney World. He is from the 1991 Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, and he appears in two different forms - as human and beast. At Disney World, he usually is out meeting in his
beast form, but there was a point when he made appearances as a human, too! Back in 2005-2006, there was a show called Cinderellabration that took place in front of the Castle. Every so often if the show was cancelled, the characters came down and
did meets and greets with lucky guests. Beast appeared in human form there, and occasionally did meets, though very unusual. But the big question is - what is Beast's name as a human? Unfortunately, it seems he has none!
When meeting, he didn't sign autographs, or if he did, he would probably signed as "Beast". But the show no longer performs, so sadly Beast stopped making appearances as a human. But it was quite a find to catch him back then!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
