General Info:
Aurora is the gracious, beautiful princess who falls asleep for awhile, but wakes up to find true love. She is from the classic 1959 Disney movie Sleeping Beauty. She has 3 differernt names - Aurora, Sleeping Beauty, and Briar Rose (her name
the fairies gave her). At Disney, she is usually called Princess Aurora. She was rare at one time, but nowadays, she is a common established character and easy to locate! She makes frequent appearances at Magic Kingdom, inside the Toontown Hall of
Fame building (also called the County Bounty gift shop). There is a room where princesses meet, and Aurora is usually one of them. She also often meets at France in Epcot, usually behind the stores near the water. And she often appears at character
meals, like the Akershus one in Norway at Epcot. So fortunately Princess Aurora gets out and about, and finding the princess shouldn't be such a tiresome quest that it would put you to sleep for 100 years!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
