General Info:
Atta is the princess ant from the 1998 Disney Pixar movie A Bug's Life. Fellow ant Flik wants to save their colony and win the princess's heart! Atta used to be more common, but has become quite rare nowadays. She used to meet at
Animal Kingdom, often across from Pizzafari restaurant. But it seems she doesn't get out much theses days. We heard of her being out for special events, like certain annual passholder events, but finding her on normal days is going to take lots of
luck! We heard of freak sightings of her at Epcot in Germany, which makes no sense since we didn't think the movie took place there. So meeting Atta may be quite a task - we aren't even sure where or when she may
ever pop up again!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
