Dave Matthews Band!

Our adventure began at the Comfort Inn near Moon Township. We had to wait for people we didn't know or even meet. Then someone had to go the beer distributor which took more time. We finally got to the Post-Gazette Pavilion and parked around 4:45pm.

As you can see around Christina, there was no room for us to tailgate behind the car, so we took the space behind a vacant SUV, next to an 'emergency exit' so we had a ton of room.

This is me telling Christina to "make that face again!" as she laughed at something Calla was doing/saying.

Amy and Christina!

Bon as she walked into my picture. The guys next to us (across the emergency exit area) had a game where they threw golf balls onto some plastic piping. Not real sure of the official game rules. There was a crazy woman on drugs who sat in their lawn chair and wouldn't leave. She tried to break into the vacant SUV and we had to close our trunk to get her to leave it alone! The guys eventually flagged down the cops who kicked her into the backseat of their car and carted her off to spend some time in the drunk tank!

Brad and Graham. The few precious moments that Graham took to hang out with us while tailgating. Haha!

Me and Seastar!

Awesome picture of the four of us after we climbed up the ravine. Those are some memories I'll never forget for the rest of my life!

Calla and Brad. In the background you can see the Kenny Chesney look-alike who paid me a complement but I couldn't comprehend it at the time, haha. We were on the outside of section J, beside the neverending line of cars.

Other fun happenings at the concert were talking to Big John, who I haven't seen in over seven years! Seeing Dustin with his apparent current gf. Didn't talk to him though. I didn't get any pictures of Kyle, who we called Art because Amy's "Kyle" sounded similar to "Calla" when she'd say it and we were constantly confused! Fun times at the concert, the set list was AWESOME and we heard Crash live for the first time. I thought Christina was going to roll down the hill and we were all close to tears! Dave Matthews Band exceeded our expectations, as usual. Great use of lights depicting the fire dancer on the back of the stage.

Watched the concert with Fabian and Nate who we haven't seen in a long time. Made our way through the crowds after the concert was over, hung out in the parking lot, then crammed 4 people in the backseat of Amy's car. Art had to ride with us since Calla and Graham left in the middle of the concert. (wtf?) They kept calling us to tell us how exciting Shadyside was. But if you ask me, if you're having such a great time, why waste time calling other people to tell them about it? We stopped at the William Penn Tavern for a little while but we were so dirty and tired that we didn't really enjoy it.

Can't wait until next year's concert!
