Ocean City 2004

Me with Rachel, Christina, and Amy at the Rainbow Friday night. Our first night!

We wanted to take Rachel out to Seacrets, our favorite place in OC.

Denny's: How did you get a tomato on there? Candice: I didn't even get any egg.

Us with our new friends Spencer on the left, and Joey on the right. Joey was the typical All-American New Yorker.

Christina and Chris, Abercrombie models.

Me and Steve-OC! I first met him when Christina made him save me from a black man. I'm not sure why that always happens to me...

Christina and Amy on the bus. It was pretty crowded so they had to double up! At this point of the night, I my skirt could have been completely ripped up the back. At least that's how it came out of the laundry... Hopefully no one noticed!

Word of the week: Chafing!

The next morning we went to Denny's for brunch, where they served me the wrong sandwich and I didn't notice until I had eaten most of it! We went back to the pool at the Rainbow, but it started to rain and it was chilly, so we headed to the Super Fresh to do our grocery shopping. Since Christina and I had used up most available space in her car, Amy was left to hold some bags...

Saturday night, we were headed to the Party Block.

You can't see the sparkly bar... We're waiting for the party to begin.

Ah yes, the boys have arrived! Amy and Ed.

Do you need something?

Ed in the "All in the Family" chair, striking a pose.

Me and Steve. We were planning the house we're going to build together. I think I spent more time with Steve than I ever have with someone I've met in Ocean City. Fun times!

Christina and Chris on his last night of vacation.

More fun times! We decided to go to Seacrets again because it was Sunday night and we wanted a 'guaranteed good time!'

This was BEFORE we met the mob. A group of serious mobster types from NY.

Scream again Danny, I think there were two people on 35th street who didn't hear you the first time.

Christina and I made fun of one of them for dancing with a short, fat, UGLY girl. He kept trying to use the 'I was the wingman' excuse but that wasn't flying with us! Amy was dancing with a guy who resembled Neil Balcer, which really threw me off for a while. Sad.

Steve's brother and Ed. They were trying to look all ghetto. Actually, Paul reminds us of our friend Ghetto Jason, so maybe it was working for them!

All dressed up!

Monday night, of course we're going to Fager's! Preparing for all the physical attacks by greasy guys that make that place unique. It reminds of of Tequila Willies back home.

The classic shot of the three of us on the deck! Last year's was the infamous picture that appeared on another web site, causing this one to relocate. Thanks Andy. Fager's was fun, though there was way too much drama. I'm not a fan of drama.

Partly Cloudy/Isolated Thundershowers

Where to go? Tuesday night seems to be European or locals night everywhere. No Europeans for us, thank you.

We rode the bus to Fish Tales while it poured down rain. Poured. We took shelter in the bus stop, then ran for the bar during a break. Then it started again, and Amy directed us to 'run under that overhang!' which was six inches wide with a waterfall coming off the roof. Maybe not Amy... This was me failing to get the Ethan look-alike bartender in the shot.

We decided to leave Fish Tales, it wasn't our crowd. Notice the baby in the background on the left...

So we headed to the Party Block, which SUCKED. Literally 5 people, plus the band "Great Train Robbery" which was more like a big train wreck. We lounged on the giant animal print couch and decided to head to Seacrets again. Low key night there, where we met up with the end of the Dobson family bar crawl. Jeff decided to hang out with us for a while, when he busted out, "Stoney's engaged to a girl from Freeport!" Thanks Jeff, I was waiting to hear those words for years now! Haha, I'll live just fine now.

Oh for God's Sake!

Sunset over the bay on Wednesday. It was our first sunny day!

Amy preparing for Ladies night at Seacrets. Free admission! Notice the trendy Norman Rockwell's on the wall above the couch.

Christina in our trendy kitchen.

And me, switching up my shoes for the night since I couldn't feel my toes... I did some serious damage to my feet throughout the week.

Three party girls, heading out for a night on the town! Haha.

Many things seem like a good idea when you're drunk.

A picture capturing the controversy of the evening... This is Bobby, a nice guy from Bloomsburg. Look closely to the left at the guy wearing a white shirt with an orange stripe. That's Shawn. These two actually got into a fight over me. How funny is that?! I had met Bobby, then met Shawn. When came back from somewhere, Shawn was dancing with Christina, so I went to look for Bobby. Shawn's friends got involved, and apparently heated words were exchanged. I hate the drama so I just ignored them. What a night. We also saw Steve Jamison and Ed Kanai, our two favorite SVC guys. Jackson was in Miami so we didn't get to see him this time.

Very cute picture of the three of us.

Jeff's cousin Doug who we met up with at Seacrets. He was present for the unfortunate incident with Christina's white skirt! Doug got to witness Christina and I eating nacho's and cheese.

Thursday night! Our plan was to hit Club 24 at the Ember's restaurant.

All in the Family chair, our favorite.

Honorary Dobson Family members.

All three of us on night out #7!

With our new friends Jared and Johnny. Johnny resembled Stoney which once again creeped me out. I danced with Jared for a while but he got a little angry when Steve-OC showed up.

Oh, the Ember's restroom! Perfect photo opportunity. After this, I was sitting in the bouncer's chair out front when we got separated. The bouncer then asked me to please move to the bench. We all tried to board the bus and Christina got on first. The bus driver then stuck out her hands and wouldn't allow Amy and I to board. "Back off the bus!"

Our last day on the beach. It was so nice, the water was clear and it was hot.

Our home for the week.

Dolphin: EEE! EEE! EEE! EEE!

Me posing for a swimsuit issue.

We finally found someone to take our picture!

Ocean Point III as seen from the bus stop.

Waiting for a bus to take us to Shenanigan's for dinner and free frosty drinks.

Our last night! We decided to go to Seacrets, big surprise!

I never realized how much I hated my normal life until after a great vacation.

Amy met Joe, originally from NY. He now lives in Ocean City with...

... Joe his friend. His shirt said "Take me home" which we thought was cute. Their friends picked up 35 year old women which was HILARIOUS!

Amy and Joe again.

That pile of rubble is our condo.

Going home! :( Such a sad day, though we had the best week ever! Can't wait to go back next year.
