1-8 
1st man casts off behind men's line followed by 1st, 2nd, 3rd women,
  down around 3rd  man up the center of the dance back to place.
  (Bars 1-4, 2nd man and 3rd man set twice,
  turning, pulling back by left shoulder
  and then rest and watch in amazement
  the silly women chasing after only one man).  

9-10
  1st, 2nd, 3rd men set to partners  

11-12  
1st, 2nd, 3rd ladies set to partners  

13-16
 1st , 2nd and 3rd couples two hand pas de basque turn,
  at end of bar 16 men release right hand,
  retaining nearer (men’s left) hands with partner and face down  

17-24  
1st, 2nd and 3rd couples DANCE down and up
  (nearer hands each time)    

25-32  
1st and 2nd couples poussette
(3RD CPL FINISHES IN 3RD PLACE).  

( 2nd time on the last two steps of the poussette
1st cpl  takes larger steps going back and out
to slip to the bottom of the set as 4th lady joins the chase)  

REPEAT, HAVING PASSED A COUPLE.
