Special Recipes
Dazzle your guests with some of these dishes!
Over the years, Diane and Tom have gathered and
developed multitudes of recipes. We would like to share some of our favorites with you.
Our intent (as Emeril Lagasse would say) is to "kick it up a notch." As a
result, we offer recipes that are different or have an unusual twist on a familiar theme.
These are not really hard to do, but may take some preparation and organization. So
instead of the old stand-by's, like Chocolate Chip Cookies or Carrot Cake, you'll find
dishes to put some zing into your parties.
We have included recipes in the the 16
categories below. For Tom's Award winning recipes, look under:
- "Canapés" for Tom's East
Coast Regional winner: Irish Crab Dip
- "Vegetarian Main Courses" for 2 of Tom's winners: his National Winner,
Spinach Frittata and Grand Prize Winner: Vegetarian Chili
- "Salads" for his 2005 national award
winner: Shrimp And Chorizo Salad
- "Main Courses" for his 2006 Better Homes &
Gardens winner:
