USPS Express Mail International

USPS Express Mail International is a pricier method than priority but service is better, with 5-7 days travel time from drop-off to your location.  Insurance is included in website quote. Customs Duties: Any merchandise sent by us Internationally may be subject to duty under the customs regulations of your country.  Gulden & Brown does not maintain or provide information on your country's customs duty. Shipments will be marked as merchandise.

USPS Priority Mail International is the most economical method but is slow. The service normally takes about 10-12 days travel time from our location to your location.

Medium Items: 2) Flat Rate Box (insurance available)
If your item can fit into the Priority Mail flat-rate Box.  The fee is based on a flat rate of
$37.00 US for all International shipments, with the exception of Canada and Mexico, which is $23.00 per box)  Insurance is available.
Because most gowns are too large for this box, they must be sent with variable rate express mail, UPS or priority mail packaging.

Envelope Shipments  (Garters and scarves fit perfectly, but that's about it!)

Small items: 1) Envelope (the shipment cannot be insured)

If your item can fit into the tiny  9-1/2" x 12-1/2" Priority Mail International flat-rate Envelope.  The fee is based on a flat rate of
$11.00 US for all International shipments, with the exception of Canada and Mexico, which are $9.00 per envelope)  Insurance is not available.
(Because most articles of clothing are too large for this envelope, they will be sent boxed.)

Small items: 1) Envelope (insurable)

NOTE: most articles of clothing are too large for this envelope, and they must be sent boxed.

Tip:  Packages go by dimensional weight of item and box combined.  According to the Postal Service, even if your item is one ounce over the pound, a higher fee is charged. (Sorry!)  Most shawls, dresses and blouses and their packaging will weigh slightly over 1 pound, but the postal service will charge the 2 pounds fee.  Headpieces, jewelry and small items, such as small beaded bags will weigh under 2 pounds.  Handbags, such as pocketbooks will vary, weighing 3 to 4 pounds.  Wedding Gowns may weigh up to 10 pounds but dimensions may create a 22 pound fee.
