Isis Design consists of one person, namely me, Lauren Lavonne.

While I am far from being a huge corporation, that doesn't stop me from taking pride in my designs and addressing every client professionally.  It does, however, mean that production of these unique and unusual gowns is limited to usually only ONE piece.

I have many ideas for new pieces, so I do not repeat designs. Part of what makes a gown special to me and worth all the effort is its uniqueness, knowing that it is the only one in the world of it's kind.

One-of-a-kind clothing is inherently difficult because of the amount of time required in it's design and individual customization. In addition, many of my gowns are hand painted and require working with one of a kind materials.

Hand Painting and dyeing fabric and appliqué sometimes requires more time to prepare than piecing together the actual gown.  The fact that each is of a different color satisfies my need to create a unique only-one-in-the-World work.

By limiting each form to only one piece, the process of one of a kind is extremely important. Most of my gowns have a treasure of cultured pearls, Swarovski crystals and vintage materials applied to them.  Gowns may take two months of airbrush design work before completion.

I cannot mass-produce gowns.
