White Silk Chiffon This gown has SOLD

Cascading strands of freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and Czech glass leaves make this gown a fairy tale creation, fit for Empress Eugenie.  An empire waist slightly slopes downward to the back, fitting the bodice tightly while a dramatic sweep of silk chiffon falls out to the floor.

Hand painted Venice lace flowers in hues of soft blue-grey, soft pink and soft gold have a slight shimmer to them. The soft blue hand painted colors are blended to match the cascading Czech glass leaves perfectly.

Each Czech glass leaf falls over the shoulder from strands of Swarovski crystals.  Each leaf has one side irridized in rainbow hues of cobalt and lavender.

Four 47 inch strands of real, cultured freshwater pearls fall from the empire underbust seam and drop to the floor.  Each strand graduates in size, from small pearls at the underbust to large and dramatic pearls at the floor.  The ends are secured with a Czech glass leaf that matches the shoulder crystals.

Truly dramatic, the lasting beauty of this dress is in the pearl strands, which can be taken apart and made into necklaces after your ceremony, to give as gifts to bridesmaids and members of your family.

The bust is lined and an inner skirt provides modesty for the sheer silk chiffon. The inner skirt is hemmed with a 1/4 " horsehair hem tape for body while the silk chiffon has a rolled hem.  English net, made with cotton thread, delicately holds the balance of the bust and wedding neck together. The net has been embroidered at center bust and at either side of the front and back neck with Schiffli style embroidery.

The wedding neck measures 2 inches in height and is supported with an inner facing.  Swarovski pastiche crystals are sewn into the center florettes, while freshwater pearls are placed onto the tiny flowers.
