The expansive Cathedral train is scalloped and edged with trim
of dye painted and airbrushed
pale rose, lavender, ash purple and teal blue.
It extends 116.5 inches or nine feet eight inches from the back
of the neck. In bright sunlight the train glistens like
freshly fallen snow. In dark, the train appears like
molten rubber. The principal colors are an iridescence of
rose gold, red violet and teal blue green.
A
Moiré Metallique effect of watered, frosted and clouded symbols
is stenciled onto the train between the cut work windows.
The
symbols are Medieval shields with streamer bows. In bright
sunlight they take on a deep purple and copper pink
reflection. In subdued light they are rose pink and copper
pink with a frosted and clouded effect.
The skirt
sides are a beautiful purple blue green, changing hues like a
chameleon as it hits the light. It appears as a three tone changeable effect of metallicized blue green with red
violet until it becomes dark grey blue at the very end. Spatterwash of silver texture is across the
expanse of the train and appears as giant raindrops of
pearlescence.
On
either side of the train's center medallion are cutwork windows of Alencon
that is sewn onto black net. They are airbrushed with
teal blue and purple ash pearlescent paint. The
edge of the train is trimmed with pale rose, lavender, ash
purple and teal blue scalloped lace.
The train
becomes darker at the very end, resembling molten rubber.
