This elegant wax tiara from the 1950's uses
Swarovski and embossed plastic leaves to accentuate the
starflowers. Pastiche crystals are coated with aurora borealis,
so they appear as prismatic lavender and blue
Color is a very soft white with shimmer
pearl. The piece is very elegant and well done. It
will match all soft white satin gowns, (such as Bur-Mil slipper
satin)
perfectly.

There is slight peeling of the shimmer
coating on some of the flowers at the center where the pep
appears, but the central focus flowers are in beautiful
condition. This is to be expected for the age of the piece, which
is estimated circa 1959.
Flowers are on bendable wire stems and can be
adjusted according to your wishes. Our modelling head has a
circumference of 21 inches. The circumference of the tiara
is approximately 13 inches and the height of the piece at the
front is approximately 5 inches.

Condition is good with the loss of one
starflower at the back (the pep is still attached and can be
seen in the photos.) One starflower next to the remaining pep is
missing one petal, and another starflower at the back is also
missing one petal, but the flowers can be bent toward each other
and the pep can be folded down, making it unnoticeable with your
hair in a nice upsweep.
There is one speck on one of the leaves that
can be seen in the large photo above (look below the very top crystal
of the close-up photo.)
