submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. {23} For the husband is the head of the wife, even as
Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour
of the body. {24} Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so
<let> the wives <be> to their own husbands in every thing. {33}

woman is the glory of the man. {8} For the man
is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. {9} Neither was the man created for the woman; but
the woman for the man. {11} Nevertheless neither

grace to the humble." God's way is submission & subjection to others
in humility.
IX) SUBMISSION TO LEADERS:
The Christian is to submit to the civil authority except where it conflicts
with God's purpose such as a call of the Christian into a ministry or the
authority requiring the Christian sin.
See my paper: " The Christian Position on Civil Authority &
Non-Resistance" for
more information on this subject.

shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be

present.
XII) CONCLUSION:
God gives people positions with responsibility and requires the Christian to be
submission to that person as onto the Lord. If the person uses his office to
require the Christian to sin, the Christian should not obey & be willing to
be punish. It's the position (authority) that requires
submission not the person.
