Christian faith is based on Jesus resurrection three days after His death &
burial. Bible shows 2 end times resurrections: 1st for the righteous & 2nd
for the wicked. All scriptures are from the King James version
Bible.
INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:
THEME: Jesus
resurrection assures Christians: salvation, resurrection & eternal life.
GOD'S PLAN IS FOR ALL PEOPLE TO EXIST FOREVER:
Revelation 20:10-15 "And the
devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and
night for ever and ever. {11} And I saw a great white throne, and
him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away;
and there was found no place for them. {12} And I saw the dead, small
and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another
book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works. {13} And the sea gave up
the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead
which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their
works. {14} And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake
of fire."
PURPOSE: RESURRECTION PURPOSE: Righteous
man would live with God forever.
John 14:1-3 "Let not your
heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. {2} In my Father's house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. {3}
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, & receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also." Jesus promise to the righteous to live with
Him.
KEY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 "But
now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept. {21} For since by
man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. {22} For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive. {23} But every man in his own order: Christ
the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming" 1st Jesus 2nd us

Jesus with every righteous person will live
together in God's eternal home.
TO WHOM:
Elected Christians
WHAT: Jesus
resurrection assures people that an after life experience exist.
CHRISTIANS LIVING IN A RESURRECTED LIFE WITH
JESUS:
Romans 6:3-5 "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus
Christ were baptized into his death? {4} Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life. {5} For
if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall
be also in the likeness of his resurrection:" Christians are promised
the same events to occur like Jesus
Romans 8:10-11 "And if
Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit
is life because of righteousness. {11} But if the Spirit of him that
raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." The Holy Spirit will quicken
(make alive) the spiritual life of the Christian body.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 "But
now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept. {21} For since by
man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. {22} For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive. {23} But every man in his own order: Christ
the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming" 1st Jesus 2nd us
Ephesians 2:1, 5-6 "And you
hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins: {5} Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,
(by grace ye are saved;) {6} And
hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus:"
Philippians 3:10-11 "That
I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of
his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; {11} If by
any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead." The
desire of the Christian is to be resurrected like Jesus.
Colossians 3:1-4 "If ye
then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God. {2} Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {3} For ye are dead, and your life is hid with
Christ in God. {4} When Christ, who is our life, shall
appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory" Risen with
Christ change priority
2 Timothy 2:11
"It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall
also live with him:"
WHY: For the Christian's justification, & righteous
people assurance of eternal life.
RESURRECTION LIFE:
Luke 20:35-36 "But they
which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the
resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in
marriage: {36} Neither can they die any more: for they are equal
unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children
of the resurrection." The resurrected person is the bride of Christ
& is married to the Lord Jesus.
Luke 24:36-43 "And
as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the
midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. {37} But they were
terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. {38}
And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? {39} Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I
myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh
and bones, as ye see me have. {40} And when he had
thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. {41} And while they
yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any
meat? {42} And they gave him a piece of a broiled
fish, and of an honeycomb. {43} And he took it,
and did eat before them." Jesus new resurrected spiritual body can
talks, it can go through walls but He is not a spirit, it can be touched, and
it can eat food. We will have the same type of spiritual body when we are
resurrected in the last days.
1 Corinthians 15:35-44 "But
some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and
with what body do they come? {36} Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: {37} And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may
chance of wheat, or of some other grain: {38} But God giveth
it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. {39} All flesh is not the same flesh: but there
is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of
fishes, and another of birds. {40} There are
also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of
the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
{41} There is one glory of the sun, and another glory
of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth
from another star in glory. {42} So also is
the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is
raised in incorruption: {43} It is sown in dishonour;
it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
{44} It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There
is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."
The dead physical body will be changed to a spiritual body to be reunited
with the his emotional, mind, will, & the spirit
of God to make him a spiritual living soul. Jesus has this body in Luke
24.
1 Corinthians 15:50
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and
blood cannot inherit the kingdom
of God; neither doth
corruption inherit incorruption." The new spiritual body has no blood.
Philippians 3:21 "Who
shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his
glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue
all things unto himself." Righteous person vile body changed to a glorious
body like Christ's resurrected body.
WAY: Death is not the
final outcome. Jesus rising from the dead proves an eternal life.
JESUS PROPHECIES HIS RESURRECTION:
Matthew 16:21
"From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how
that he must go unto Jerusalem,
and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be
killed, and be raised again the third day." Jesus predicts His
death & resurrection after three days.
Luke 24:45-46 "Then opened
he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
{46} And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead
the third day:" Jesus shows Job scriptures that predicts His death
& resurrection in 3 days
John 2:18-22 "Then answered
the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
{19} Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in
three days I will raise it up. {20} Then said
the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt
thou rear it up in three days? {21} But he spake of the temple of his body. {22} When therefore he was risen from the dead, his
disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed
the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said." Jesus
predicts His death & resurrection after three days.
HOLY SPIRIT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD:
Romans 8:11 "But if the
Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his
Spirit that dwelleth in you." The Holy
Spirit brings new life into Jesus human body after He is dead three days.
1 Peter 3:18
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but
quickened by the Spirit:" Quicken = new life

died for our sins according to the scriptures; {4} And that he was
buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the
scriptures: {5} And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
{6} After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen

JESUS PROPHECIES OF HIS RESURRECTION IS
FULFILLED:
Matthew 27:50-54 "Jesus,
when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.{51}
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the
bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; {52} And the graves were
opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, {53} And
came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the
holy city, and appeared unto many. {54} Now when the centurion, and
they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things
that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of
God." After Jesus resurrection several other temporary resurrections
occurred.
Matthew 28:5-9 "And the
angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek
Jesus, which was crucified. {6} He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see
the place where the Lord lay. {7} And go quickly,
and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he
goeth before you into Galilee;
there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. {8} And they departed
quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy;
and did run to bring his disciples word.{9} And as
they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All
hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him."
Mark 16; Luke 24;
& John 20-21
John 20:26-28 "And after
eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then
came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. {27} Then
saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands;
and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not
faithless, but believing. {28} And Thomas answered and said unto him,
My Lord and my God." After Jesus resurrection He

Acts 9:39-41
"Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they
brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him
weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas
made, while she was with them. {40} But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled
down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes:
and when she saw Peter, she sat up. {41} And he
gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints
and widows, presented her alive." God lets Peter restore life
to girl.
Acts 20:9-10 "And there sat

sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
{10} And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said,
Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him." God allows Paul to
restore life into the man.

if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
{3} And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, & receive you unto myself; that where I
am, there ye may be also." Jesus promise to the
righteous to live with Him.
III)RESURRECTION
BEGINNINGS: Part of God's dispensational plan. In Job the oldest
Bible book (Job 19:25-27). In Genesis, the first book of
the Bible (Genesis 22:5).
Job 19:25-27 "For I know
that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall
stand at the latter day upon the earth: {26} And though after my skin
worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: {27} Whom
I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not
another; though my reins be consumed within me." Job believes
in his own body resurrection, & he believes in a righteous personal
redeemer who will be resurrected in latter days.
IV) RESURRECTIONS
COMPLETED:
1st resurrection for the righteous & the 2nd resurrection a thousand
years later for wicked.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope. {14} For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
Revelation 20:4-6 "And I
saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither
his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. {5} But the
rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection. {6} Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years." God's judgment determine if the dead person is in Christ or not in
Christ.
V) ORDER OF RESURRECTIONS:
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 "But
now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept. {21} For since by man came
death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. {22} For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive. {23} But every man in his own order: Christ
the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming." In the last days
See my paper: "One-In-Christ"
for more
information on this subject.
Colossians 3:1 "If ye
then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God." The Christian is One-In-Christ & accomplishes
everything also.
VI) BETTER RESURRECTION:
Closer to the throne of God with more rewards from life
Hebrews 11:35-39 "Women
received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not
accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
{36} And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
{37} They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted,
were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and
goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; {38}
(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and
in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. {39} And these all, having obtained a good
report through faith, received not the promise:"
VII) RIGHTEOUS DEAD
BEFORE END TIME RESURRECTION: Living saints
Matthew 22:31-32 "But as
touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was
spoken unto you by God, saying, {32} I am the God of Abraham, and the
God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the
dead, but of the living." These saints are living.
VIII) RESURRECTION LIFE:
Luke 20:35-36 "But they
which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the
resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are
given in marriage: {36} Neither can they die any more: for
they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being
the children of the resurrection." The resurrected person is the bride
of Christ & is married to the Lord Jesus.
Luke 24:36-43 "And
as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the
midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. {37} But they were
terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
{38} And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? {39} Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I
myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath
not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. {40} And
when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. {41} And
while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have
ye here any meat? {42} And they gave him
a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. {43} And he took it, and did eat before them."
Jesus new resurrected spiritual body can talks, it can go through walls but He
is not a spirit, it can be touched, and it can eat food. We will have the same
type of spiritual body when we are resurrected in the last days.
It is sown in corruption; it is
raised in incorruption: {43} It is sown in dishonour;
it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
{44} It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There
is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."
The dead physical body will be changed to a spiritual body to be reunited
with the his emotional, mind, will, & the spirit
of God to make him a spiritual living soul. Jesus has this body in Luke
24.
1 Corinthians 15:50
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and
blood cannot inherit the kingdom
of God; neither doth
corruption inherit incorruption." The new spiritual body has no blood.
Philippians 3:21 "Who
shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his
glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue
all things unto himself." Righteous person vile body changed to a glorious
body like Christ's resurrected body.

in his own ressurection to life. Live = H2421 Arise =

X) JESUS RAISED FOR THE CHRISTIAN'S JUSTIFICATION:
Romans 4:24-25 "But for us
also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised
up Jesus our Lord from the dead; {25} Who was delivered for our offences,
and was raised again for our justification."Jesus
was raise for our justification = declared just as if we had never sinned.
See my paper: "True
Gospel for Salvation by the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.
See my paper: "Imputed/Reckoned/Counted
Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.
XI) RESURRECTION DOUBTS
& PROOFS:
1 Corinthians 15:3-7, 12-20 "For
I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures; {4} And that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: {5}
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: {6} After
that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater
part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. {7} After that, he was seen of James; then of all the
apostles. {12} Now if Christ be preached that he
rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection
of the dead? {13} But if there be no resurrection of the dead,
then is Christ not risen: {14} And if
Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your
faith is also vain. {15} Yea, and we are
found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he
raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead
rise not. {16} For if the dead rise not,
then is not Christ raised: {17} And if Christ be not raised, your
faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. {18} Then they also which
are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. {19} If in this life only we have
hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. {20} But now is Christ
risen from the dead, & become the firstfruits
of them that slept. {21} For since by man came
death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead." No hope
if Jesus was not raised from the dead, but Christ was raised from the dead?
2 Timothy 2:16-19 "But
shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness. {17} And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom
is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
{18} Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the
resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some."
Error that the Christian will not be resurrected in the end
days.

XIII) TEMPORARY
RESURRECTION IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:
Genesis 22:5 "And Abraham
said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad
will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." Abraham was
taking Issac to kill him, but he believed in Isaac's
literal resurrection. God told Abraham Isaac would be bring
offspring.
Hosea 13:14
"I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem
them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I
will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes." General Old Testament resurrection promise by God.
See my paper: "Israel & Jewish People in God's Plan" for more information on this subject.
XIV) ELIJAH PRAYS FOR
CHILD'S RESURRECTION:
1 Kings 17:17-23 "And it
came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress
of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that
there was no breath left in him. {18} And she
said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to
remembrance, and to slay my son? {19} And he
said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom,
and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own
bed. {20} And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O
LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I
sojourn, by slaying her son? {21} And he stretched himself upon the child
three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I
pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. {22} And the
LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him
again, and he revived. {23} And Elijah took the child, and
brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto
his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth."
Elijah is used by God to heal the child.
XV) ELISHA PRAYS FOR
CHILD'S RESURRECTION:
2 Kings 4:18-22, 32-35 "And
when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his
father to the reapers. {19} And he said unto his
father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him
to his mother. {20} And when he had taken him, and
brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. {21} And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of
God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. {22} And she called unto
her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one
of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. {32} And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the
child was dead, and laid upon his bed. {33} He went in therefore, and shut
the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD. {34} And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put
his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his
hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the
flesh of the child waxed warm. {35} Then he
returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched
himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the
child opened his eyes." Elisha is used by God to heal the child.
XVI) ELISHA BONES TOUCHED
IN BURIAL RESURRECTION:
2 Kings 13:20-21 "And Elisha
died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the
land at the coming in of the year. {21} And it came to
pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of
men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of
Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of
Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet." Elisha is
dead, but God uses his body to heal another person.
XVII) OLD TESTAMENT

XVIII) JOBS & JESUS
RESURRECTIONS:
Job 19:25-27 "For I know
that my redeemer liveth, and that he
shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: {26} And though after
my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
{27} Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold,
and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." Job
believes in his own body resurrection, & he believes in a righteous
personal redeemer who will be resurrected in latter days.

XX) JESUS RESURRECTION
TYPES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:
See my paper: "Jesus in the Old Testament" for more information on this subject.
XXI) ISAAC'S DEATH & RESURRECTION:
TYPIFIED EVENTS OF JESUS
God would likewise resurrect Jesus, His Son, from the dead
Genesis 22:5 "And Abraham
said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and
the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." Abraham
was to kill Isaac, but he believed Isaac would be resurrected from the dead as
God promised Isaac would bring offspring.
Hebrews 11:17-19 "By
faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that
had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. {18} Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall
thy seed be called: {19} Accounting that God was able to raise him up,
even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure."
By faith Isaac would rise from the dead.
XXII) JONAH'S DEATH &
RESURRECTION: TYPIFIED
EVENTS OF JESUS
Jonah 2:1-10 "Then Jonah
prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, {2} And said, I
cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out
of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest
my voice. {3} For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas;
and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves
passed over me. {4} Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will
look again toward thy holy temple. {5} The
waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me
round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. {6} I went down
to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for
ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my
God. {7} When my soul fainted within me I remembered
the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. {8} They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
{9} But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay
that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. {10} And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon
the dry land." Jonah three days experience is a type of what Jesus
three days experience will be like.
Matthew 12:39-40 "But he
answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given
to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: {40} For as Jonas was
three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of
man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Just
like Jonah, likewise Jesus, 3 days experience.

XXIII) TEMPORARY RESURRECTION
MIRACLES BY JESUS:
Mark 5:35-36,
41-42 "While he yet spake,
there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy
daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master
any further? {36} As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he
saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be
not afraid, only believe. {41} And he
took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha
cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel,
I say unto thee, arise. {42} And straightway
the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve
years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment." Jesus brings a
12 year old dead girl back to life.
Luke 7:12-15 "Now when he
came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out,
the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people
of the city was with her. {13} And when the Lord
saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. {14}
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare
him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
{15} And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he
delivered him to his mother." Jesus brings a widow' son back to life.
John 11:14,
21-26, 43-44 "Then said Jesus unto
them plainly, Lazarus is dead. {21} Then said
Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been
here, my brother had not died. {22} But I know, that even now,
whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. {23} Jesus saith
unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. {24} Martha saith unto
him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
{25} Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he
live: {26} And whosoever liveth
and believeth in me shall never die. Believest
thou this? {43} And when he thus had spoken, he
cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. {44} And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot
with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with
a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose
him, and let him go." Jesus brings his friend Lazarus back to life.
XXIV) JESUS PROPHECIES
HIS RESURRECTION:
See my paper: "Between Jesus Death & Resurrection, What did He
Accomplish?" for
more information on this subject.
XXV) HOLY SPIRIT RAISED
JESUS FROM THE DEAD:
See my paper: "Triunity - Father, Son, & Holy Spirit"
for more information on
this subject.
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but
quickened by the Spirit:" Quicken = new life
XXVI) RESURRECTED JESUS
SEEN BY OTHERS:
Mark 16:9 "Now when
Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he
appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven
devils." Mary Magdalene is first to see Jesus alive.
Mark 16:12
"After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as
they walked, and went into the country." The full Emmaus
account is in Luke 24:13-32
Acts 3:15
"And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the
dead; whereof we are witnesses." Apostles Peter and John
1 Corinthians 15:3-7 "For I
delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures; {4} And that he was
buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the
scriptures: {5} And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
{6} After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen
asleep. {7} After that, he was seen of James;
then of all the apostles." These groups of people witness Jesus alive:
(Peter & 12); (500); (James)
XXVII) JESUS PROPHECIES
OF HIS RESURRECTION IS FULFILLED:
See my paper: "Jesus Life, Events, & Identity" for more information on this subject.
Matthew 27:50-54 "Jesus,
when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.{51}
{7} And go quickly,
and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he
goeth before you into Galilee;
there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. {8} And they departed
quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy;
and did run to bring his disciples word.{9} And as
they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them,
saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and
worshipped him." Mark 16; Luke
24; & John 20-21
John 20:26-28 "And after
eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then
came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. {27} Then
saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands;
and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not
faithless, but believing. {28} And Thomas answered and said unto him,
My Lord and my God." After Jesus resurrection He
when to see His apostles.
XXVIII) CHRISTIANS LIVING
IN A RESURRECTED LIFE WITH JESUS:
Romans 6:3-5 "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus
Christ were baptized into his death? {4} Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life. {5} For
if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall
be also in the likeness of his resurrection:"Christians
are promised the same events to occur like Jesus
{23} But every man in his own order: Christ
the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming"1st Jesus 2nd us
Ephesians 2:1, 5-6 "And you
hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins: {5} Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,
(by grace ye are saved;) {6} And
hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus:"
Philippians 3:10-11 "That
I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of
his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; {11} If by
any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead."The
desire of the Christian is to be resurrected like Jesus.
Colossians 3:1-4 "If ye
then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God. {2} Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {3} For ye are dead, and your life is hid with
Christ in God. {4} When Christ, who is our life, shall
appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory"Risen
with Christ change priority
2 Timothy 2:11
"It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall
also live with him:"
XXIX) DISCIPLE TEMPORARY
RESURRECTION MIRACLES:
Acts 9:39-41
"Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they
brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him
weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas
made, while she was with them. {40} But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled
down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes:
and when she saw Peter, she sat up. {41} And he
gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints
and widows, presented her alive." God lets Peter restore life
to girl.
Acts 20:9-10 "And there sat
in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being
fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with
sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
{10} And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said,
Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him." God allows Paul to
restore life into the man.
XXX) END TIMES RIGHTEOUS
RESURRECTION:
Isaiah 26:19-21 "Thy
dead men shall live, together with my dead
body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for
thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
{20} Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut
thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until
the indignation be overpast. {21} For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to
punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also
shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."Old
Testament shows resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall
not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, {52} In a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet
shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed."
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 5:10 "But I would not
have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. {14} For if
we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. {15} For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
{16} For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first: {17} Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. {18} Wherefore comfort one another with these words. {5:10} Who died for
us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."All
righteous with Jesus
Revelation 20:4-6, 12-14
"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was
given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon
their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. {5} But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. {6} Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall
be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
{12} And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;
and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works. {14} And death
and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Final plan of God for all people - righteous or wicked.

Revelation 11:11-12 "And after
three days and an half the Spirit of life from God
entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear
fell upon them which saw them. {12} And they heard
a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they
ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them." God restores life into them after they

Daniel 12:1-3 "And at that
time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such
as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at
that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written
in the book. {2} And many of them that sleep in the
dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame <and> everlasting contempt. {3} And
they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."All
people will be judged. The wicked will go to hell.
John 5:28-29 "Marvel not
at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves
shall hear his voice, {29} And shall come forth; they that have done
good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto
the resurrection of damnation." Evil will be punish.
XXXIII) GOD'S PLAN IS FOR
ALL PEOPLE TO EXIST FOREVER:
Revelation 20:10-15 "And the
devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever. {11} And I saw a great
white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. {12} And
I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book
of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works. {13} And
the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered
up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according
to their works. {14} And death and hell were
cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire."
