KEY VERSE:
Ephesians 4:13
"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure
of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
Jesus is the perfect man. The fulness of Christ is
the entire Godhead within us.
WHO: God
mainly by Bible authors John, Peter, and Paul
TO WHOM:
Elected Christians
WHAT:
BORN AGAIN:
This is the first experience: Salvation/Born Again relationship into Jesus. A
person must receive Jesus to be Born-Again & grow.
John 1:12
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, <even> to them that believe on his name:"
The Christian receives (not accepts) Jesus. Jesus is acceptable. God makes
the offer to those He saves, we receive Him.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life." God's love brings us a relationship.
John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." A Born-Again
relationship start with faith.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man <be> in Christ, <he is> a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new." A Born-again person starts a new life
centered on God.
BIBLE READING: The word of God (Bible) is spiritual food which a
person requires, just like food, not to get sick & eventually die.
1 Corinthians 3:2 "I
have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were
not able <to bear it>, neither yet now are ye able." Milk is for
new Christians to learn God's basics.
1 Peter 1:23
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by
the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." The word of God is alive to
help Christians to grow.
1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn
babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may
grow thereby:" New Christians desire Bible study.
PRAYING:
Prayer is a communications with God. He talks & we Talk.
John 16:24
"Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye
shall receive, that your joy may be full." The power of prayer is
in the name of Jesus, knowing God's will (The word), and faith that God will do
what He says He will do if we have right attitude. Philippians
4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in
every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
made known unto God." A right attitude of thanks & faith in His
will.
LOVE OTHERS:
The way that they will know we are
Christians.
John 13:35
"By this shall all <men> know that ye are my disciples, if
ye have love one to another." Sign of a Christian
John 15:13
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a
man lay down his life for his friends." Self giving love is greatest
kind.
Romans 13:8 "Owe no man any
thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth
another hath fulfilled the law." Love is powerful
FELLOWSHIP WITH OTHER CHRISTIANS: The church gives love, support, & comfort
among many other necessary items in the Christian walk.
Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there
am I in the midst of them." Fellowship with a few
also.
Acts 2:42
"And they continued stedfastly in the
apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread,
and in prayers."
Hebrews 10:25
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner
of some <is>; but exhorting <one another>: and so much the more,
as ye see the day approaching." Attend church
WHY:
PRAYING IN SPIRIT FOR OWN EDIFICATION: Praying with our tongues and the Holy Spirits
words produces a perfect pray to the Father.
1 Corinthians 14:2-4 "For he
that speaketh in an <unknown> tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no
man understandeth <him>; howbeit in the
spirit he speaketh mysteries. {3} But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men
<to> edification, and exhortation, and comfort. {4} He that speaketh in an <unknown> tongue edifieth
himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church." Edifies self
1 Corinthians 14:13-15
"Wherefore let him that speaketh in an
<unknown> tongue pray that he may interpret. {14} For
if I pray in an <unknown> tongue, my spirit prayeth,
but my understanding is unfruitful. {15} What
is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the
understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with
the understanding also." Speaks to God
MINISTRY GIFTS: The power of the Baptism of Holy Spirit to do the
super-natural miracles and be directed by God for his ministries (Acts 16:6, 9;
1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 28-31)
Mark 16:17-18 "And these
signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues; {18} They shall take
up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not
hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover." This is a norm for the H.S. baptized
FINDING YOUR OWN MINISTRY: God has a ministry for each Christian.
Ephesians 2:10
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."God
has works for us to do, not man's efforts.
WAY:
FAITH:
There are over 7000 promises in scripture for those with faith and those who
meet God's conditions. The Christian is to study God's word to find the
conditions and promises. When one prays in faith he appropriates the promise in
the faith dimension. When God manifests the promise is up to God. The person
should not pray again for the same item. He should thank God that he has the
promise. He believes it to already have occurred.
Hebrews 11:6 "But without
faith <it is> impossible to please <him>: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and <that> he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him."Key words
Mark 11:24
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that
ye receive <them>, and ye shall have <them>." God
gives the Christian his desires (Psalms 21:2).
Romans 10:17 "So then faith <cometh> by hearing, and hearing
by the word of God." Read His word, hear from God, and attend
church.
John 16:23-24 "And in that
day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever
ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give <it> you.
{24} Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye
shall receive, that your joy may be full." God
WHEREAS:
OWN HEALING: Healing on our bodies is in the atonement.
Our faith in God's promise that He healed us will remove the sickness.
Matthew 8:16-17 "When the
even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils:
and he cast out the spirits with <his> word, and healed all
that were sick: {17} That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our
infirmities, and bare <our> sicknesses." Sickness
comes from the Devil. Jesus suffered for our pains
and sickness.
James 5:14-15 "Is any sick
among you? let him call for the elders of
the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in
the name of the Lord: {15} And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they
shall be forgiven him." Faith in Jesus heals.
1 Peter 2:24
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that
we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by
whose stripes ye were healed."Jesus stripes heals
WHERE:
Earth
WHEN: All Times
WHILE:
HOLY OF HOLIES: This is the third experience: A relationship with
God the Father (1st: Salvation/born again into a relationship into Jesus &
2nd: Baptism into the Holy Spirit). The Holy of Holies experience includes
being within the throne room of God and a very close relationship with the
Father.
Hebrews 6:4-5 "For <it
is> impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted
of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, {5}
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to
come," Things that occur there.
Hebrews 10:19-20 "Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of
Jesus, {20} By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated
for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;"Knowing
then entering the Holy of Holies by faith.
2 Peter 1:3-4 "According as
his divine power hath given unto us all things that <pertain> unto
life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us
to glory and virtue: {4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust." Divine
ONENESS:
In the Holy of Holies one achieves a oneness with the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God's oneness within His Triunity is similar to
the oneness that God wants with the Christian who enters the Holy of Holies.
The person is closer to God than ever before as they become one with God. God
wants a similar type of oneness between Christians. He also want
a similar oneness between wives and husbands which is the model of God's
oneness.
Genesis 2:24
"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." The two are
one under God.
John 14:20
"At that day ye shall know that I <am> in my Father, and ye
in me, and I in you." As Christ is in Father, we are in Him.
John 17:22-23 "And the
glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one: {23} I in them, and thou
in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may
know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
We are perfected in one with the Father & Jesus.
Romans 12:5 "So we, <being>
many, are one body in Christ, and every one members
one of another."We are one with other Christians.
1 Corinthians 12:27
"Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular."We
are members of each other in the Church
of Jesus.
Ephesians 5:30-32 "For we
are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. {31}
For this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one
flesh. {32} This is a great mystery:
but I speak concerning Christ and the church." The Christian is one
with Christ as Church.
LIVING IN THE HEAVENLIES: The person's life emphasis is toward the spiritual
not earthly. It is in a Godly reign.
John 3:12
"If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how
shall ye believe, if I tell you <of> heavenly things?"
1 Corinthians 15:48-49 "As
<is> the earthy, such <are> they also that are earthy: and as
<is> the heavenly, such <are> they also that are heavenly.
{49} And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."
Ephesians 1:3 "Blessed
<be> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly <places> in Christ:"
God gives His people every blessing.
Ephesians 2:6 "And hath
raised <us> up together, and made <us> sit together in
heavenly <places> in Christ Jesus:" Our position
Philippians 3:20
"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for
the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"
Our life/talk
Hebrews 3:1 "Wherefore, holy
brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle
and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;" We are partakers of the
heavenly & follow Jesus.
Hebrews 11:16
"But now they desire a better <country>, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed
to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city."
God prepares us His Heavenly
SONSHIP:
The Father has adopted us to be sons of God. Adoption means to be placed as a
son with all the legal rights, powers & authority of sonship.
A Christian can be a son, but not be adopted. Adoption is for the mature son
who proved worthy of the inheritance & responsibilities.
Romans 8:15-17 "For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
{16} The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God: {17} And if children,
then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if
so be that we suffer with <him>, that we may be also glorified
together."
Galatians 4:5-7 "To redeem
them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
{6} And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
{7} Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a
son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Closer
relations
Ephesians 1:5 "Having predestinated
us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to
the good pleasure of his will,"It is God who does the work.
If He calls, we respond.
WANT:
WATER BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF JESUS: In Jesus name, by faith, we figuratively
experience what Jesus did. The christian
died, was buried, & was raised to a newness of life from the old man being
crucified.
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Ghost." Into Jesus
Acts 8:16
"(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized
in the name of the Lord Jesus."Baptized in Lord Jesus
Acts 19:5 "When they heard
<this>, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Paul who learned from God baptized into Jesus.
Romans 6:3-6 Know ye not, that so
many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his
death? {4} Therefore we are buried with him by
baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead
by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
{5} For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we
shall be also <in the likeness> of <his> resurrection: {6}
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with <him>, that the
body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
Jesus died not the Father
Galatians 3:27
"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on
Christ." Do everything in Jesus name - Col 3:17.
Colossians 2:12
"Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with
<him> through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him
from the dead." See also 1 Corinthians 1:12-13, 15.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: This is the second major experience where a
Christian has a relationship with the Godhead. The Baptism into the Holy Spirit
is needed for God's power. The person has gifts for their own life and for
others.
Luke 11:13
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how
much more shall <your> heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that
ask him?" Like every experience with God, the Christian sees the
experience in the word & asks in faith for it. When God gives it, is His
timing. We believe we have it.
Acts 1:5 "For John truly
baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many
days hence." Jesus prophecy
for the need of this experience so we have God's
power in our life.
Acts 1:8 "But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth." Power to heal
& for God's direction.

shall be done unto you." God will do this.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth." Not just read, but study His word for His
will in our life.
Hebrews 5:12-14 "For when
for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you
again which <be> the first principles of the oracles of God; and are
become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. {13} For every one that useth milk
<is> unskilful in the word of righteousness:
for he is a babe. {14} But strong meat belongeth
to them that are of full age, <even> those who by reason of
use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
This is a growth step with responsibilities.
IX) FAITH:
There are over 7000 promises in scripture for those with faith and those who
meet God's conditions. The Christian is to study God's word to find the
conditions and promises. When one prays in faith he appropriates the promise in
the faith dimension. When God manifests the promise is up to God. The person
should not pray again for the same item. He should thank God that he has the
promise. He believes it to already have occurred.
See my paper: "Faith" for more information on this subject.
X) OWN HEALING:
Healing on our bodies is in the atonement. Our faith in God's promise that He
healed us will remove the sickness.

XII) MINISTRY GIFTS:

signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out

up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not
hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover." This is a norm for the H.S. baptized

MINISTRY: God has a ministry for each Christian.

come," Things that occur there.

therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of

so be that we suffer with <him>, that we may be also glorified
together."
