By Dennis Schmidt 9/2007
RETURN TO THE: BIBLE PAPERS HOME PAGE
This paper discusses grace or unmerited flavor from God to His Christians. Grace is getting from God a gift that we do not deserve. God gives the gift of grace to whoever He wishes & only gives kindness (not grace) to the unbeliever. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.
INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:
THEME:
GRACE IS A GIFT FROM GOD: God grace by gift of Jesus grace to Christians by a measure of faith He called us not according to our works but His own purpose & grace given before world.
PURPOSE:
COMPARE - OFFENSE (SIN) LEADING TO DEATH & GIFT OF GRACE TO LIFE: Sin by Adam lead to death & the grace of gift of righteousness by Jesus life & ministry lead to life.
God's grace makes us what we are and what we will be. We still need to labor with God's help so the grace will not be vain.

WHY:
THE CHRISTIAN'S RELATIONSHIP OF GRACE OR SIN & LAW: Christians are to be dead to sin, not under law, & not live in sin that grace they abound. They know that righteousness comes not by law but by Christ, & they are not to frustrate grace but are justified by Christ not law
LASTING GRACE: God is blessing us during this age or dispensation of grace & in future ages. God will show His exceeding riches of His grace toward us through Christ Jesus.
WAY:
GRACE GROWS BY THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD & HUMILITY: Want grace to grow?
God gives grace to humble, & lets grace grow with the growth in the knowledge of God & Jesus.

MAN MAY FAIL TO RECEIVE GOD'S GRACE: God provides grace to only His Christians.
Unbelievers do not receive grace in vain, are bitter & defiled, have wrong gospel, & deny Jesus.
WANT:
GRACE TO RECEIVE GIFTS AND DO OUR MINISTRY: God's grace to do our ministries: of witnessing of the resurrection of Jesus, with access by faith into this grace where we stand, with gifts from grace to prophecy, or grace to preach among Gentiles as good stewards of God's grace.
