By Dennis Schmidt 1/2007
RETURN TO THE: BIBLE PAPERS HOME PAGE
This paper discusses a relationship that each of us can have with God. Each of the
ways that the Godhead shows himself in his triune manifestations are presented. The Christian can have a three fold
experience with God in each of His manifestation as Father, Son, & Holy
Ghost. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.
INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:
THEME: Jesus is called the mighty God, counselor (Holy Spirit), and Father.
PURPOSE: God wants His elected believers to know Him in His
fullness.
KEY VERSE: Jesus is called the mighty God, counselor (Holy Spirit), and Father.
WHO: God mainly by Bible authors Moses, Isaiah, Matthew, Luke, John, and Paul
TO WHOM: Elected Christians and Jews
WHAT:
WHY:
All three manifestations of God are involved in redemption process.
WAY: Therefore, seeing the Father, Jesus or Spirit is seeing all of God. Jesus is not the Father or Holy Spirit, but Jesus is the full God. You can not divide God, saying there are three persons. This is not found in the scriptures. You can not compare God to a leaf or three states of water. God is one. To see Jesus is to see all of the Godhead bodily. Moses saw the Father and he also saw Jesus & Holy Spirit. God is omni-present: in all places at the same time.
The full Holy Spirit in one Christian is the same full Holy Spirit in another Christian. There are not two or more Holy Spirits.
WHEREAS: Our relationship with God, that started at salvation, continues with us moving into deeper heavenly places. We go on to taste the heavenly gift and the power of the world to come. Then we are made to sit with Christ before God the Father.
WHERE:
Everywhere in the universe as well as hell, heaven, and earth
WHEN: For all times God
existed as fullness of the Godhead
WHILE: The one undivided God is eternally Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are to have fellowship with Godhead, not with just the Son - Jesus.
WANT: God wants His elected believers to know Him in His
fullness.

VIII) GODHEAD:
Therefore, seeing either the Father, Jesus or Spirit is seeing all of God. Jesus is not the Father or Holy Spirit, but Jesus is full God.
There are not two Holy Spirits.
IX) GODHEAD & US: The Christian can have a closer relationship with God.
Jesus can become so close to us that He possesses us and we act in unison with Him. We know God's will, and we are obedient to God.

XIII) WHAT IS GOD'S RELATIONSHIP FOR MANKIND? Man is the only species created in God's own image after His likeness. He is a spiritual being with a moral nature that can think and reason. The animals can only think. Man is self aware and can have fellowship with God and enjoy His love forever.
XIV) WHAT IS MAN'S RELATIONSHIP TO GOD? Man is to find God's plan for his life. That purpose includes having a relationship with God, having fellowship with his creator, & enjoying God's love forever.

B) RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR POWER:The Spirit continues relationship
C) ENTER HOLY OF HOLIES TO THE FATHER:Relationship is complete in God.
D) DO GOD'S WORKS: After finding God's will, we are to live in it.
XV) CONCLUSION: God is a Triunity. He shows Himself as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus had a very close relationship with His Father and the Holy Spirit, we who are in Christ should have the same kind of relationship with each member of the Triunity. Our relationship should be with the entire Godhead in everything we do as: praise, pray, worship, fellowship, communications, love, etc.
A) WE ARE IN THE HEAVENLY: Our relationship with God, that started at salvation, continues with us moving into deeper heavenly places. We go on to taste the heavenly gift and the power of the world to come. Then we are made to sit with Christ before God the Father.
