RESTORATION OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO ISRAEL

This paper discusses God's eternal relationship with the Jewish people and the restoration of the Kingdom of God back to Israel. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:

THEME: Jesus, our savior is Jewish. He was born of Jewish parents, lived his entire life in a Jewish land and follows all God's Jewish laws. Every writer of the Bible (maybe one exception) was Jewish. The scriptures are written from a Jewish prospective about Jewish life. We enter God's Kingdom as true children of Abraham (true Jews).

Romans 2:28-29 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither <is that> circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: {29} But he <is> a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision <is that> of the heart, in the spirit, <and> not in the letter; whose praise <is> not of men, but of God." Christians are true Jews.

John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." Jesus statement to non-Jews.

Romans 3:1-3 "What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit <is there> of circumcision? {2} Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. {3} For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?" Oracles of God = scriptures and prophets.

PURPOSE: GOD'S ETERNAL PROMISE OF THE SALVATION OF ISRAEL & JEWISH PEOPLE:

God made an everlasting covenant with Abraham which He promised a Jewish (people, nation & kingdom) where God would reign as king.

Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for <his> only <son>, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for <his> firstborn." All Israel will be saved in one day.

Romans 11:25-27 "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. {26} And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: {27} For this <is> my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins." Christians should be open to Hebrew Christians movement.

Luke 21:24 "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." Fulfilled Gentile age when Israel won Jerusalem in 1967.

2 Corinthians 3:14-16 "But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which <veil> is done away in Christ. {15} But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. {16} Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away." God is removing veil as never before since 1967.

KEY VERSE:

Genesis 12:1-3 "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: {2} And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: {3} And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." God's promises to Abraham.

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Jew first, then gentile

TO WHOM: Elected Christians

WHAT: GOD STARTED A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO LAST FOREVER

A) ABRAHAM IS THE FATHER OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE:

God selected Abraham to start a people who would represent Him to the world. He promised Abraham a land, a family, and a name (reputation). Abraham became the father of the Jewish people and nation. Through him and his heirs all the nations of the world would be blessed.

B) ABRAHAM IS THE FATHER OF ALL WHO BELIEVE:

Abraham is the father of those who walk by faith. God's plan is that His followers be people of faith as Abraham walked by faith.

Romans 4:11-12 "And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which <he had yet> being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: {12} And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which <he had> being <yet> uncircumcised." Christians are true Jews; Abraham as father.

Romans 4:16-17 "Therefore <it is> of faith, that <it might be> by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, {17} (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, <even> God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." Nations=all peoples

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith <it is> impossible to please <him>: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and <that> he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Romans 11:1-5 "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, <of> the tribe of Benjamin. {2} God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, {3} Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. {4} But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to <the image of> Baal. {5} Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." Paul's answer is the remnant are true Jews. True today.

Romans 11:11 "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but <rather> through their fall salvation <is come> unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy."

Romans 11:12 "Now if the fall of them <be> the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" Jewish salvation period is now & coming.

WAY: GOD'S ETERNAL PROMISE OF THE RESTORATION OF THE KINGDOM TO ISRAEL:

Jesus told His disciples that the Father would select the time for the Israel kingdom to be restored. That time is the end days where Jesus will reign 1000 years on a Jerusalem throne.

Daniel 7:27 "And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom <is> an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him." Saints=Israel

Zechariah 8:23 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days <it shall come to pass>, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard <that> God <is> with you." This will occur in Jesus 1000 year reign.

Acts 1:6-7 "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? {7} And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power."

WHEREAS: GOD PROMISE IS TO THE JEWS - FOREVER:

Romans 11:25-27 above in this scripture show God forgiving Israel.

Jeremiah 31:31-37 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: {32} Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day <that> I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: {33} But this <shall be> the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. {34} And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. {35} Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, <and> the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts <is> his name: {36} If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, <then> the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. {37} Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD."

WHILE: GOD'S ETERNAL PROMISE OF JERUSALEM, HOLY CITY OF ZION, TO ISRAEL:

Psalms 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."

Isaiah 2:1-4 "The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. {2} And it shall come to pass in the last days, <that> the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. {3} And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." Judah=Jewish people

Zechariah 2:4-5,10-12 "And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited <as> towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: {5} For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. {10} Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. {11} And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. {12} And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again." God has been Israel's defense.

Zechariah 8:2-3,7-8 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. {3} Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. {7} Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; {8} And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness." Jesus is the way, truth & life (John 14:6).

Zechariah 14:9,16 "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. {16} And it shall come to pass, <that> every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."During 1000 years people will come to worship Jesus

WANT: GOD'S ETERNAL PROMISE: LAND OF PALESTINE IS HER POSSESSION FOREVER:

Genesis 13:14-15 "And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: {15} For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." Includes Egypt, Lebanon & Syria

Genesis 15:18 "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:" Egypt Nile

Genesis 17:5,7-8 "Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. {7} And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. {8} And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." Everlasting

Psalms 105:8-11 "He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word <which> he commanded to a thousand generations. {9} Which <covenant> he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; {10} And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, <and> to Israel <for> an everlasting covenant: {11} Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:" 1000 generations=forever

Amos 9:14-15 "And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit <them>; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. {15} And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God." God has done this in 1948 & gave Israel Jerusalem in 1967.

God's eternal promise to Abraham and the Jewish people includes blessing & curses to people or nations in how they treat the Jews. Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." This promise was given to Abraham and his heirs.

Genesis 27:29 "Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed <be> every one that curseth thee, and blessed <be> he that blesseth thee." This promise was given to Jacob (Israel).

Zechariah 2:8 "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye." God's closeness
