INDUCTIVE BIBLE TOPIC STUDY
ENTRY INTO THE HOLY OF HOLIES
By Dennis Schmidt 2/2007
RETURN TO THE: BIBLE PAPERS HOME PAGE
This paper discusses the Christian's entry into the Holy of Holies. This is the
third experience for the believer. The other two are first salvation in Christ
and second Holy Spirit Baptism. The entry to the most Holy place is a
relationship with God the Father. The Holy of Holies was located in the
tabernacle and temple. Also discussed are symbols and types from the tabernacle
of the three experiences.
INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:
THEME: Jesus death opens the veil to the Holy of
Holies given access to the place of God's presents and rule on earth.
Mark 15:38
"And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the
bottom." By Jesus death the temple veil was opened to us.
PURPOSE: The Tabernacle
was made as a types, shadows, and symbols of what is in heaven. The Christian is to follow Jesus example
and enter the Holy of Holies by Jesus blood.
Hebrews 9:24-26 "For Christ
is not entered into the holy places made with hands, <which are> the
figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the
presence of God for us: {25} Nor yet that he should offer himself often,
as the high priest entereth into the holy place
every year with blood of others; {26} For then must he often have suffered
since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath
he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself."
Hebrews 10:19-22 "Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood
of Jesus, {20} By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated
for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; {21} And
<having> an high priest over the house of God; {22} Let us draw near
with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."

KEY VERSE:
Ephesians 3:19
"And to know the love of Christ, which passeth
knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness
of God."
Ephesians 4:13
"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure
of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
Jesus is the perfect man. The fulness of Christ is
the entire Godhead within us.
Galatians 2:20
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not
I, but Christ liveth in me: and the
life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me." I live yet not I, but Christ lives
in me.
2 Peter 1:3-4 "According as
his divine power hath given unto us all things that <pertain> unto
life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to
glory and virtue: {4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through
lust" His nature

WHY:
The Tabernacle was made as a types, shadows, and symbols of what is in
heaven.
Hebrews 8:5 "Who serve
unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished
of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,
<that> thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in
the mount."
The Tabernacle was a tent structure which was moved from place to place
during the forty years that Israel
was in the desert. It was divided into several sections. A fence was placed
around the structure which includes a building, altar of burnt offering, and
laver. The building was divided into two sections. The first section is the
Holy place which contained the altar of incense, seven-branched golden
candlestick, and table of show-bread. The other section is the Holy of Holies
which contained the Ark of the Covenant. The ark lid was the mercy seat of God.
God presents were between the two cherubim’s on the ark seat. Inside the
ark was the book of the law, pot of manna, and Aaron's rod that blossomed. The
high priest once a year, on the Day of Atonement, went into the Holy of Holies
with a blood sacrifice. First he ceremonial cleaned himself before going into
God to make an offering for Israel's
sin.
Hebrews 9:2-7 "For there
was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein <was> the candlestick,
and the table, and the showbread; which is called the
sanctuary. {3} And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is
called the Holiest of all; {4} Which had the golden censer, and the
ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein <was>
the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the
tables of the covenant; {5} And over it the cherubims
of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we
cannot now speak particularly. {6} Now when these things were thus ordained,
the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the
service <of God>. {7} But into the second <went> the high priest
alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for
himself, and <for> the errors of the people:"
Hebrews 8:5 "Who serve unto
the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of
God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,
<that> thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in
the mount."
WAY: The Old Testament
High Priest went into the Holy of Holies with a sacrifice of blood. The
Christian can go in through Jesus blood.
Water = word of God (Bible) Eph 5:26
WHEREAS: The
Triunity Godhead is involved with every Godly act including allowing the
Christian into the Holy of Holies.
2 Corinthians 1:20-21 "For all
the promises of God in him <are> yea, and in him Amen, unto
the glory of God by us. {21} Now he which stablisheth
us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, <is> God;" All the promises
of God are in Christ which anointed us (Spirit).is God
Ephesians 2:18
"For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father."
Through Him (Jesus) and by the Holy Spirit we have access unto the Father.
Colossians 3:1-4 "If ye
then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God. {2} Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {3} For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ
in God. {4} When Christ, <who is> our life, shall
appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." You are risen with Christ and will sit on God's right hand and you
are dead and your life is hid in Christ and you are in glory.
WHERE:
On earth
WHEN: As the Elected Christian
moves on in the Lord toward perfect.
WHILE:
The Bible shows a number of types & shadows of three. I believe that
these examples show that a three fold position in the Godhead is available.
Each experience is first learned by the Christian. After he understands
(knowledge) what God has for him, he desires the new experience and asks for it
in faith. Then God will honor his faith and manifests the experience in his
life, but in God's own time. He first has it in the faith reign. When God
manifests the experience to the person, he knows it by practice &
encounter.
WANT: The tabernacle type
is seen in salvation experience.
The un-saved person enters the gate surrounding the Tabernacle, altar and
laver basin. He brings a sacrifice to the priest who offers it on the bronze
altar for the man's sins. The person believes his sins are forgiven and covered
by the sacrifice. He has repented for them. Tabernacle experience is a type of
salvation experience as the person goes into the first court. The person is now
in the Jewish religious system set up by God.
Likewise, the person who enters a relationship with Jesus Christ does so
through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus for his sins. He has repented for his
sins and has faith in Jesus blood coverings. The person is now in the faith
reign set up by God to save him.
The person can go on further in the tabernacle to the laver basin which is a
type for cleaning by the word (Bible study). The person can go right up to the
veil that enters the Holy place. Only if God selected the person does the he go
on into the Holy place.
Psalms 119:9-11 "BETH.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by
taking heed <thereto> according to thy word. {10} With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let
me not wander from thy commandments. {11} Thy word
have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
The Word (Bible) checks us from sinning.
John 15:3 "Now ye are
clean through the word which I have spoken unto you" God uses the word
to change our life, beliefs & practices.
Ephesians 5:26-27 "That he
might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, {27}
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and
without blemish." God cleaned
2 Timothy 2:15
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth" God wants us to not only read, but study,
His word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All
scripture <is> given by inspiration of God, and <is> profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness: {17} That the man of God may
be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
Hebrews 6:1-3 "Therefore leaving
the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;
not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith
toward God, {2} Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of
hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
{3} And this will we do, if God permit."
God calls those He selects to go on.
WAIT:
God's gifts in the Holy of Holies are varied depending on the needs
of the Christian entering. Below are many more possible blessings:
Acts 2:28
"Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me
full of joy with thy countenance." Way of life.
Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God
is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy
in the Holy Ghost." Kingdom
of God
Hebrews 13:21 "Make you
perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which
is wellpleasing in his sight, through
Jesus Christ; to whom <be> glory for ever and ever. Amen." Perfection
2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting
down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;" Thoughts
Romans 12:2 "And be not
conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what <is> that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God." Transformation
James 3:2 "For in many
things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the
same <is> a perfect man, <and> able also to bridle the whole
body." The Holy of Holies Christian goes on to perfection.
Proverbs 18:21
"Death and life <are> in the power of the tongue: and they
that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Power of the tongue towards
love
Ephesians 5:19
"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" The Holy of Holies
Christian has the right heart altitude.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 "Pray
without ceasing. {18} In every thing
give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
The Holy of Holies Christian has learned to pray.
1 John 4:17
"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in
this world." The Holy of Holies Christian has his love perfected.

I) ACCESS TO GOD THE
FATHER:
Jesus death opens the veil to the Holy of Holies given access to the place
of God's presents and rule on earth.
Mark 15:38
"And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the
bottom." By Jesus death the temple veil was opened to us.
II) TABERNACLE:
The Tabernacle was made as a type and symbols of what is in heaven.
Hebrews 8:5 "Who serve unto
the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of
God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,
<that> thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in
the mount."
III) GOD HAS MADE US
PRIESTS:
The priest was the spokesman between man and God. He needed to conform to a
standard (tribe, sex, age) and would clean himself, offer sacrifices for his
sins, before serving the people in his priestly position. Likewise God has
chosen His New Testament priest & trained them for ministry service. They
may enter His Holy place & Holy of Holies & have a relationship with
God.
A) THE HIGH PRIEST WENT
INTO THE HOLY OF HOLIES ONCE A YEAR:
The high priest entered the Holy of Holies as in Leviticus
16:33. The whole "Day of Atonement" rite is found
in Leviticus chapter 16.
Leviticus 16:33 "And he
shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an
atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar,
and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the
people of the congregation."
Hebrews 10:1-3 "For the
law having a shadow of good things to come, <and> not the very image
of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year
by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. {2} For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had
no more conscience of sins. {3} But in those <sacrifices there is>
a remembrance again <made> of sins every year."
B) JESUS FULFILLED THE
SACRIFICE MAKING US PRIESTS UNTO GOD:
See my paper: "Jesus as
Prophet, Priest, & King" for more information on this subject.
C) NEW TESTAMENT PRIESTS:
Exodus 19:6 "And ye
shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an
holy nation. These <are> the words which thou shalt speak unto the
children of Israel."
Israel &
the church are set aside for ministry.
Isaiah 61:6 "But ye
shall be named the Priests of the LORD: <men> shall call you the Ministers
of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory
shall ye boast yourselves."
1 Peter 2:5 "Ye also, as
lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an
holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God
by Jesus Christ." The church will offer sacrifice.
1 Peter 2:9 "But ye
<are> a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises
of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous
light:" The Christian is chosen as royalty & priest.
Revelation 1:6 "And hath
made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him <be> glory
and dominion for ever and ever. Amen"
Revelation 5:10
"And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall
reign on the earth." Christians are both kings & priest
Revelation 20:6 "Blessed
and holy <is> he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years." During millennium the Christian
will reign with Christ and as a priest will minister to the people.
IV) THE FATHER ENCOURAGES
THE CHRISTIAN TO ENTER HIS HOLY OF HOLIES:
The Old Testament High Priest went into the Holy of Holies with a sacrifice
of blood. The Christian can go in through Jesus blood.
See my paper: "Messianic
Prophecies that Jesus Fulfilled" for more information on this subject.
Water = word of God (Bible) Eph 5:26
V) THREE EXPERIENCES WITH
GOD:
The Bible shows a number of types & shadows of three. I believe that
these examples show that a three fold position in the Godhead is available.
Each experience is first learned by the Christian. After he understands
(knowledge) what God has for him, he desires the new experience and asks for it
in faith. Then God will honor his faith and manifests the experience in his
life, but in God's own time. He first has it in the faith reign. When God
manifests the experience to the person, he knows it by practice &

VII) SALVATION INTO JESUS
THE CHRIST:
A saving relationship is between the person and Jesus. This results in the
person becoming a child of God and beginning eternal life. The person is a new
creature with desires for Godly things. The person repents of his past sins and
starts his new life.
See my paper: "The Purpose
of Jesus Coming (Eight "W's")" for more information on this subject.
Matthew 18:11 "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."
People are lost if they have no relationship
with God.
John 1:12 "But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
<even> to them that believe on his name:"
John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." A saved person receives eternal
life in God.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man <be> in Christ, <he is> a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new." The saved person desires God to control
his life.
A) HOW DOES THE SALVATION
EXPERIENCE OCCUR? (John chapter 3:3 - 3:16)
God super-naturally changes the person. The person is born again.
See my paper: "What is a
Born-Again & How to Become One?" for more information on this subject.
See my paper: "True Gospel
of Salvation by the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.
See my paper: "Imputed/Reckoned/Counted
Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.
Romans 10:9-10 "That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
{10} For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
God supplies saving faith & the person then calls.
Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
The results of the call is a God restored relation.
Hebrews 11:6 "But without
faith <it is> impossible to please <him>: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and <that> he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him."God means
B) TABERNACLE TYPE SEEN
IN SALVATION EXPERIENCE:
Ephesians 5:26-27 "That he
might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, {27}
Hebrews 6:1-3 "Therefore leaving
the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;
not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith
toward God, {2} Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of
hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
{3} And this will we do, if God permit."
God calls those He selects to go on.
C) BLESSINGS OF SALVATION:
Relationship with Jesus; Spiritual blessings; Abundant life; Joy; Peace;
Eternal life; Not under law; God's guidance for works & life
John 10:10 "The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have <it> more
abundantly." God centered with joy & peace.
1 John 5:11 "And this is
the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is
in his Son." Eternal life = forever
VIII) BAPTISM INTO THE
HOLY SPIRIT:
Baptism of Holy Spirit is a relationship between the person and Holy Spirit.
This results in the person receiving power to do the works of God.
See my paper: "Holy Spirit
Baptism" for more
information on this subject.
John 14:16 "And I will
pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he
may abide with you for ever;"
A) HOW DOES THE BAPTISM
OF HOLY SPIRIT EXPERIENCE OCCUR?
God super-naturally moves the vocal chords. The Holy Spirit does the
utterance but the person does the speaking with his own tongues as his own
private prayer language to God.
Acts 2:4 "And they were
all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues,
as the Spirit gave them utterance."
B) TABERNACLE TYPE SEEN
IN BAPTISM OF HOLY SPIRIT:
The priest would serve the Lord in the Holy place. They would add oil to the
golden lampstand (a type for Holy Spirit's
fellowship). They partake of the showbread (twelve loaves in two rows which was changed weekly which signified a constant communion of God
with His people). This is a type for New Testament priest fellowships with
believers of other churches. They would add incense to the fire on the incense
altar as a type of prayer and praise to God. Only the priest (not the people,
prophet, or King) could go into the Holy place. The priest was at least thirty
years old, a male, from the tribe of Levi, trained for the priestly ministry.
This is a type for a mature believer going on in the Lord, who desires the
power of God (Baptism) in his ministry. The born again saved person, as a New
Testament priest, desires a second experience promised by God (Luke 11:13) to
help him in his ministry. He would want to know and do God's will. The
Tabernacle experience is a type of Baptism in the Holy Spirit experience as the
person goes into the Holy Place of the Tabernacle. Likewise, the person who
enters a relationship with the Holy Spirit does so by faith. He believes that
the Father and Jesus will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask in faith. The
person that enters the Holy place can fill the lampstand
with oil. This is symbolic of having a close fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
The person partakes of the showbread table. This is symbolic of having
fellowship, in the Holy Spirit, with other Christians. The person can add incense
to incense altar. This is symbolic of having a close relationship with God in
praise, prayer, worship, intercession, & thanksgiving. The person can go
right up to the veil that enters the Holy of Holies. The next experience is
right behind the veil. Ones a year the High Priest went into the Holy of
Holies. No one else was in the Holy Place during that time. Each step shows the
son growing in the Lord.
Luke 11:13 "If ye then,
being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall
<your> heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"
Holy Spirit Baptism
Acts 1:5 "For John truly
baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not
many days hence" Promise to us also
C) BLESSINGS OF BAPTISM
OF HOLY SPIRIT:
The Holy Spirit provides ministry gifts (wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing,
miracles, prophecy, discerning & tongues) to the person. The Holy Spirit
provides power ministry (before authorities, great wonders, miracles, wisdom,
cast out demon, lay hands ministry, restore dead, witness, boldness, guidance,
knowledge & love) to do His works. The tongues are to pray perfectly to God
in a heavenly provided language which edifies oneself.
Ephesians 6:18 "Praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"
Mark 16:17-18 "And these
signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues; {18} They shall take
up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not
hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover."
IX) ENTER INTO THE HOLY
OF HOLIES INTO THE FATHER'S THRONE:
Entry into the Holy of Holies is a relationship between the person & the
Father. This results in the person having a deeper & closer understanding
of God's will.
See my paper: "Just Who is God?" for more information on this subject.
A) HOW DOES THE ENTRY
INTO THE HOLY OF HOLIES EXPERIENCE OCCUR?
God allows the person into His presents through the blood of Jesus. The
person can enter because he has already been enlightened to taste the heavenly
gift (Jesus), the Holy Spirit (Baptism), taste the good word of God (deep Bible
study), and powers of the future world (living in the heavenlies
as a son). His tests, fruits, and gifts proved the person to be responsible to
enter the Holy of Holies. This mature Christian must manger this next experience.
Hebrews 6:4-5 "For <it
is> impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have
tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
{5} And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world
to come,"
B) TABERNACLE TYPE SEEN
IN ENTRY INTO HOLY OF HOLIES:
Once a year, on the Day of Atonement, only the High Priest went into the
Holy of Holies with a blood sacrifice. He first ceremonial cleaned himself before going into God to make an offering for Israel's
sin. No one else was allowed in the Holy Place during that time. The High
Priest took the incense altar into the Holy of Holies and place incense upon
it. The Holy of Holies had the Ark of the Covenant with its lid, the mercy seat
of God. God's presents were between the two cherubim’s on the ark lid.
The High Priest would sprinkle the lamb's blood unto the mercy seat. If God did
not accept the sacrifice or priest, the High Priest was killed. Through the
blood & death of Jesus a way was opened to the Holy of Holies for the New
Testament priest. Just as the people requested that Moses be the only one to
talk with God, the High Priest alone entering the Holy of Holies is symbolic of
only a few Christians who will enter the Holy of Holies. Each experience is a
growth in the Lord for the mature son. The mature son wants a deep relationship
with the Father. The mature son is worthy of the closeness to the Father &
will act responsibly.
Hebrews 10:19-20 "Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of
Jesus, {20} By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated
for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;"
C) BLESSINGS OF ENTRY
INTO THE HOLY OF HOLIES:
Blessings differ because not everyone has the same needs. Also, we received
salvation & baptism of Holy Spirit in different ways.
D) LIVING IN THE
HEAVENLIES:
The first blessing for the person who enters the Holy of Holies is a new
concentration on Godly things. The person's life emphasis is toward the
spiritual not Earthly. His life is in a Godly reign.
See my paper: "Godhead
Relationship" for
more information on this subject.
John 3:12 "If I have
told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe,
if I tell you <of> heavenly things?"
John 10:10 "The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have <it> more
abundantly." An abundant life is God centered.
1 Corinthians 15:48-49 "As
<is> the earthy, such <are> they also that are earthy: and as
<is> the heavenly, such <are> they also that are heavenly.
{49} And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."
Ephesians 1:3 "Blessed
<be> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly <places> in Christ:"
God gives His people every blessing.
Ephesians 2:6 "And hath
raised <us> up together, and made <us> sit together in
heavenly <places> in Christ Jesus:" Our position
Philippians 3:20 "For our
conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:" Our
life/talk
Hebrews 3:1 "Wherefore, holy
brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle
and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;" We are partakers of the
heavenly & follow Jesus.
Hebrews 11:16
"But now they desire a better <country>, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed
to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city."
God prepares us His Heavenly
E) SONSHIP:
The second blessing for the person in the throne room of the Father is they
become an adopted son of God. Adoption means to be placed as a son with all the
legal rights, powers & authority of sonship.
A Christian can be a son, but not be adopted. Adoption is for the mature son
who proved worthy of the inheritance & responsibilities.
See my paper: "Jesus Life,
Events, & Identity" for more information on this subject.
Romans 8:15-17 "For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
{16} The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God: {17} And if children,
then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if
so be that we suffer with <him>, that we may be also glorified
together."
Galatians 4:5-7 "To redeem
them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
{6} And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
{7} Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a
son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Closer
relations
Ephesians 1:5 "Having predestinated
us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according
to the good pleasure of his will,"It is God who does the work.
If He calls, we respond.
F) IN CHRIST:
The Christian in the Holy of Holies is one with God and in Christ. As heir
& co-heirs with Jesus Christ we are united in the Godhead.
Like Jesus' works, deeds, & thoughts so are our works, deeds, &
thoughts. He is our life, purpose, & love. We are His sons who will
overcome and rule with Christ.
See my paper: "One-In-Christ"
for more information on
this subject.
Acts 17:28
"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as
certain also of your own poets have said, For we are
also his offspring."Reason for living is in Him
we live, move & have purpose
See my paper: "Man's
Greatest Need-Relationship with God" for more information on this subject.
Romans 8:1 "<There
is> therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." No
condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:17 "And if
children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with <him>, that we may be
also glorified together."God's heirs & Christ
joint-heirs
1 Corinthians 1:29-31 "That
no flesh should glory in his presence. {30} But of him are ye in
Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption: {31} That,
according as it is written, He that glorieth, let
him glory in the Lord."You in Christ Jesus have these
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who
hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have
the mind of Christ." Mind we have
1 Corinthians 8:6 "But to
us <there is but> one God, the Father, of whom
<are> all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom <are> all things, and we by him." We are in Father & Jesus.
2 Corinthians 2:14 "Now thanks <be> unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his
knowledge by us in every place." Those in Christ will triumph.
Ephesians 2:10 "For we are
his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God
hath before ordained that we should walk in them." God assigned works
for His sons to do.
G) ONENESS:
The next blessing for those in the Holy of Holies is a
oneness with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God's oneness within His Triunity
is similar to the oneness that God wants with the Christian who enters the Holy
of Holies. The person is closer to God than ever before as they become one with
God. God wants a similar type of oneness between Christians. He also wants a
similar oneness between wives and husbands which is the model of God's oneness.
Genesis 2:24 "Therefore
shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto
his wife: and they shall be one flesh." The two are one under
God.
See my paper: "Marriage,
Divorce, & Re-marriage" for more information on this subject.
John 14:20 "At that day ye
shall know that I <am> in my Father, and ye in me, and I in
you." As Christ is in Father, we are in Him
John 17:22-23 "And the
glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one: {23} I in them, and thou
in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may
know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
We are perfected in one with the Father & Jesus.
Romans 12:5 "So we, <being>
many, are one body in Christ, and every one members
one of another."We are one with other Christians.
1 Corinthians 12:27 "Now ye
are the body of Christ, and members in particular."We
are members of each other in the Church of Jesus.
Ephesians 5:30-32 "For we
are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. {31}
For this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one
flesh. {32} This is a great mystery:
but I speak concerning Christ and the church." The Christian is one
with Christ as Church.
H) FULLNESS OF GODHEAD:
See my paper: "Just Who Is
God?" for more
information on this subject.
John 1:16 "And of his
fullness have all we received, and grace for grace." Jesus is the
fullness of Godhead (see Colossians 2:9
below). In Christ we receive of His fullness.
Ephesians 3:19 "And to
know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God."

pleased <the Father> that in him should all fullness dwell;"
Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:9-10 "For in
him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
{10} And ye are complete in him, which is the
head of all principality and power:" Complete in Him with His Fullness
I) OWNERSHIP:
Another blessing to those in the Holy of Holies is ownership. As God's sons
we inherit all His blessings. He owns everything and by faith we have it all.
The mature son has his faith grow to trust God for all his needs and desires.
Psalms 21:2 "Thou hast
given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden
the request of his lips. Selah." God give us our desire.
Mark 10:29-30 "And Jesus
answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath
left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or
children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, {30}
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and
brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with
persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life."God
gives everything we need in this world & the next
Romans 8:32 "He that spared
not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he
not with him also freely give us all things?" God freely gives us all
things.
1 Corinthians 3:21-22
"Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; {22}
Whether Paul , or Apollos, or Cephas,
or the world, or life, or death, or things present,
or things to come; all are yours;" All things are our:
world, life, death, present/to come
Galatians 3:29 "And if ye <be> Christ's, then are ye
Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Philippians 4:19 "But my
God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
God's promise to Christian

<be> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly <places> in Christ:"Earthly & spiritual blessings are our.
Revelation 21:7 "He that
overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will
be his God, and he shall be my son." As son we inherit all.
X) COMPLETE GODHEAD IN
THE HOLY OF HOLIES THRONE ROOM:
The Tri-unity Godhead is involved with every Godly act including allowing
the Christian into the Holy of Holies.
See my paper: "Triunity -
Father, Son, & Holy Spirit" for more information on this subject.
2 Corinthians 1:20-21 "For all
the promises of God in him <are> yea, and in him Amen, unto
the glory of God by us. {21} Now he which stablisheth us with you in
Christ, and hath anointed us, <is> God;" All the promises
of God are in Christ which anointed us (Spirit).is God
Ephesians 2:18
"For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father."
Through Him (Jesus) and by the Holy Spirit and unto the Father
Colossians 3:1-4 "If ye
then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God. {2} Set your
affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {3} For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ
in God. {4} When Christ, <who is> our life, shall
appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." You are risen with Christ and will sit on God's right hand and you
are dead and your life is hid in Christ and you are in glory.
