GOD'S DISPENSATION & COVENANT PLANS

This paper discusses God's dispensation & covenant plans. A dispensation is a period of time in God's economy during which He provides a special revelation commanding His creation unto obedience. A covenant, within several of these dispensations, is a formal agreement between God and His creation. The dispensations & covenants are progressively unfolding God's revelation which is cumulative. Most covenants are unconditional or declarative by God such that He promises to grant a blessing to man independent of man's response. The exception is the Mosaic covenant which is mutual or conditional upon man's response. The first three covenants (Edenic, Adamic, & Noahic) were given to mankind. The Abrahamic, Mosaic, Land, Davidic & New covenants were given to Israel and not the Gentiles. The gentiles are blessed within a number of the covenants. For each covenant, man fails & is judged by God in mercy. Under all the dispensations & covenants is God ultimate plan for salvation by Jesus imputed righteousness by His death & resurrection by God's grace. The alternate to dispensational theology is replacement theology which teaches that God is through with Israel and Jesus will not be king on an earthly throne for 1,000 years. These teachings are not supported by scriptures as this paper shows. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:

THEME: God provides a special revelation to his creation requiring obedience with judgment for failure also ultimate mercy of salvation to the elect.

Romans 11:1, 5, 25, 27-29 "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. {5} Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. {25} For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. {27} For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. {28} As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. {29} For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." Gift to Israel are still promised.

PURPOSE: Teach God's Dispensation & Covenant plans for the ages (each period of time) in God's economy.

Religious organizations that do not teach God's dispensation plan state that God is finished with the Jewish people as the chosen people. That God has replaced them with the Church. They assign the Bible curses to the Jewish people & blessings to the Church. They do not have a sovereign God in complete control of His creation. They do not believe Jesus will be on an earthly throne for 1,000 years. These statements contradict the scriptures shown in this paper in the various dispensations.

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

KEY VERSE:

Acts 3:25 "Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed."

Romans 9:4 "Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;"

Ephesians 1:10 "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"

Ephesians 3:2-3 "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: {3} How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,"

WHO: God written mostly by Bible authors Moses, David, Isaiah, Luke, John, and Paul

TO WHOM: Elected Angels, Elected Jews, and Elected Christians

WHAT: God's plan for everyone, everything, and for all times includes Jesus death

God's sovereign plan for people is that His purpose for them will occur by Him predestinating everything for the good of the Elect that God has called, justified, glorified & conformed to Jesus.

Romans 8:28-30 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. {29} For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. {30} Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." The Elect will be preserved.

WHY: God’s plan includes the Jewish people for all dispensation periods.

WAY: For every dispensation & covenant includes the following sequences:

Jesus comes to earth again to fight God's & Israel's enemies to establish His kingdom on earth with His throne in Jerusalem. The kingdom starts with all Christians, as all Israel's enemies are defected & removed. The saints of God rule with Christ for 1,000 years.

This dispensation occurs at the end of the 7 years Great Tribulation period & has Israel being attacked by antichrist with world armies. Israel cry out to the Lord & Jesus returns for His second coming with His saints. Jesus destroys their enemies, opens their spiritual eyes to see their Messiah, & start His kingdom on earth in Jerusalem with all Christians.

START: At the end of 7 years tribulation period. Israel is in Armageddon war against antichrist & world.

COMPLETION: 1,000 year reign as king in Jerusalem.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Believe Jesus is God & savior, Do not take 666 number of support the antichrist against Israel.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Unbelievers judged & removed from earth. Believers stay 1,000 years with Jesus on His earthly throne.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God separates evil from good people to start His earth kingdom

Matthew 13:30, 39-43, 49 "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. {39} The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. {40} As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. {41} The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; {42} And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. {43} Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. {49} So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,"

2 Timothy 4:1 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;"

Jude 1:14-15 "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, {15} To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

WHEREAS:

Imputed righteousness of God, by Jesus, as only means to salvation to those who believe. Salvation is dependent only on God not on the sinner, nor can the sinner do anything for it. Jesus righteousness imputed/reckoned/counted to believer - believers sins imputed to Jesus.

Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. {17} For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. {17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

IV) ETERNITY PAST DISPENSATION:

God has a plan for everyone of His created beings for the ages. God desires is to show His love to His created beings including His greatest love of Jesus dying for sinful mankind.

In this dispensation God is creating the heavens, earth, & hell for His purpose. It begins with the Triunity Godhead and goes on forever. However, within God's eternal plan exists a number of separate dispensations periods. The next dispensation is the seven days creation with mankind being the climax of that dispensation.

Colossians 1:26 "<Even> the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:" God's dispensations have been made know to His saints.

A) GOD:

START: Eternity past when only the Triunity God exists.

COMPLETION: Eternity future to include those God created.

Scriptures starts with the assumed existence of God. God alone is eternal (1 Timothy 1:17) and is complete within Himself. He is self-satisfies in all His needs as for example: self-conscious (I AM), self-life (Jeremiah 10:10), self-determining (Ephesians 1:9-11). God has revealed Himself to His creation and commands all His creatures to glorify Him and be thankful.

Romans 1:19-21 "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. {20} For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: {21} Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." There is no excuse for any to not understand who God is and to glorify Him.

1) GOD IS ETERNAL:

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." He created the heaven and earth for His glory and to share His love with His created beings.

John 1:1-3, 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. {2} The same was in the beginning with God. {3} All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. {14} And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." The Word = Jesus (who is the Eternal God)

2) TRIUNITY - FATHER, SON, & HOLY SPIRIT IN THE ONE GODHEAD:

Isaiah 48:16 "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there <am> I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me." Jesus is speaking, and the Triunity Godhead is shown in this verse.

Isaiah 63:8-10 "For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. {9} In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. {10} But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them." The Father is speaking, and the Triunity Godhead is shown in this verse.

3) HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD:

John 4:24 "God <is> a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship <him> in spirit and in truth." God is a Spirit and not flesh. God is everywhere at the same time.

Acts 5:3-4 "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? {4} Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God." The Holy Spirit is God.

Luke 1:19 "And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings." God's higher angels.

Hebrews 1:14 "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" These angels are included in the 2/3 of angels who did not fall with Satan.

MERCY TO ANGELS: Only 1/3 fell, 2/3 preserved, minister to the saved believers & God.

2) EVIL:

ANGEL TESTS RESPONSIBILITY: 1/3 fell with Satan as head & not God as their head.

ANGELS JUDGMENT: To lake of fire in latter days for rejecting God as head.

Isaiah 14:12-15 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! <how> art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! {13} For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: {14} I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. {15} Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." Satan's fall to evil & takes 1/3 angels, now called demons, to be cast into lake of fire.

Luke 10:18 "And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."Satan to earth

Jude 1:6 "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." Evil angels

Genesis 1:28-30 "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, [1] Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and [2] subdue it: and [3] have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. {29} And God said, Behold, [4] I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. {30} And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."

Genesis 2:16-17 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: {17} [5] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." God commanded only 1 law

MAN'S TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Man would have a personal relationship with God until his fall. God knew man would disobey His law & sin. God planned for his salvation.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Man was to be punished by eternal death, but God had predestined, elected, & chose a remnant to be saved before the foundation of the world.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God Foreknow, Predestinates Calls, Justifies, & Glorifies His.

Romans 8:29-31 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. {30} Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. {31} What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" This remnant of His people are conformed to be like Jesus God's son.

Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"God predestine & elects those He saves.

V) INNOCENCE DISPENSATION:

Man perfect without sin + perfect environment (Eden) with many fruit trees to eat from (including the tree of life to live forever) + only one law as a test to keep (not eat from tree of knowledge of good & evil) resulting in man's sin & fall.

This dispensation has God's perfect creation of the earth and man fall due to Adam's sin. Even in a near perfect environment with only a single law not to eat of tree of knowledge of good & evil as a test to man who fails. Satan as the tempter of Eve is present. After they sin, they indirectly blame God for their failure. Eve blames the snake (Satan) indirectly God for making the snake. Adam blames Eve who God gave Adam (again God is at fault). This results in a punishment of death to mankind as the sin nature will be in mankind's offspring. Man is expelled from Eden and required to labor for their food. Woman will suffer in child birth and be submitted to her husband. Still God's grace is shown in each birth of a son as Adam & Eve (mankind) is looking for the Messiah birth to save them from their sins.

1) GOD CREATED EVERYTHING & PRESERVES THEM FOR HIS OWN GLORY & PURPOSE:

Colossians 1:16-17 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: {17} And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

God is still in control of His creation. Nothing comes as a surprise to God.

START: Man (Adam & Eve) created perfect & pure (no knowledge of sin) in God's image.

Genesis 1:26-27 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. {27} So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

COMPLETION: Adam's sin changed mankind to evil, & they were driven from Eden.

Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." Eve deceived & offer Adam fruit to eat.

1 Timothy 2:13-14 "For Adam was first formed, then Eve. {14} And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."Eve was deceived. Adam sin out of pride.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Do not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good & evil.

Genesis 2:16-17 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: {17} But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." God commanded only one law.

SATAN'S DECEPTION:

2 Corinthians 4:2-4 "But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. {3} But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: {4} In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." In the perfect environment, God still tests man by allowing Satan lies.

JUDGMENT: Man would die, woman child birth pain, work, & expulsion from Eden.

Genesis 3:22-24 "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: {23} Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. {24} So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." Judgment of expulsion from Eden so that man can't eat of tree of life.

Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" By Adam's sin death's penalty is on all man.

MERCY DURING JUDGMENT: Fellowship, sexual relationship in marriage, woman's children after birth, rain, sun, & nature for plants growing for food.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jesus will destroy Satan, & Satan will put Jesus on cross

Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." Woman's seed (Jesus) will destroy Satan (thy head) & Satan will have Jesus killed, but Jesus will be resurrected from death.

VI) ANTEDILUVIAN DISPENSATION:

Adam's sins gives man the knowledge of good & evil + only a few laws of God as a test (i.e. God worship, sacrifice, & respect others lives); results in man's total corruption & violence.

This dispensation has people knowing good from evil from Adam's offspring by the fall. Man labors for food & sacrifices some of it to God. Cain offering to God is poor, & he kills Abel out of envy. Polygamy of multiple wives. Angels with human woman. Man shows no respect to either God or man. The earth was filled with corruption & violence. Man's sins became so great that God regretted the creation of mankind & judges them with the flood.

START: After Man is driven from Eden, man is to live with respect for God & others.

Genesis 1:27-28 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. {28} And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

Genesis 4:1-2 "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. {2} And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground." Eve has 2 sons with different work choices

1) POLYGAMY OF MULTIPLE WIVES:

Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Not wives. God command is a one-man-one-woman marriage.

Genesis 4:19 "And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah." First case of polygamy

COMPLETION: Man kills, is corrupt, is violence, & God's sends a flood to destroy them.

Genesis 4:6-8 "And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? {7} If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. {8} And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him." Cain shows no respect to Abel or God's creation by killing Abel.

Genesis 9:6 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man." Death punishment to anyone taking a life which is in the image of God.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Worship, sacrifice to God; & respect the lives of others.

Genesis 6:2, 4 "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. {4} There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Sons of God are angels who interrelated with human woman resulting in the woman producing strange flesh - giants.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: God destroys all people except Noah's (because he is righteous).

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God's remnant are chosen & saved. This is example for future.

Genesis 6:5-6, 11-12 "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. {6} And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. {11} The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence {12} And God looked upon the earth, &, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth." God regrets

Genesis 7:23 "And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark."

2 Peter 3:5-6 "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: {6} Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:"Due to man's sin, God destroyed the earth by water.

VII) GOVERNMENT DISPENSATION:

Noah's son's offspring's went to build a city so they would not be scattered, to build a tower to touch heaven, & to make a name for themselves. God however confound their language that they would not understand others resulting in dispersing them over the earth

START: After Noah's family left the ark.

Genesis 8:15-17, 20-21 "And God spake unto Noah, saying, {16} Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. {17} Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and (1) be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. {20 } And (2) Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. {21} And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; (3) neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done." God's command (1) multiple on earth (2) worship & sacrifice to God (3) not destroy again by water

A) NOAHIC COVENANT: [1] Animal fear of man & used for food [2] Sanctity of life [3] Not destroy by water again [4] Token of covenant is a rainbow for perpetual generations

Genesis 9:2-9, 11-15 "And [1] the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. {3} Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. {4} But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. {5} [2] And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. {6} Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. {7} And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. {8} And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, {9} And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, & with your seed after you; {11} [3] And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. {12} And God said, [4] This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: {13} I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. {14} And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: {15} And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh." Covenant (not destroy by water again) to Noah's, his son's & their offspring for every generation.

COMPLETION: After God confused their languages & scattered the people over the earth

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Respect to God & each other; multiply & replenish the earth; as one they built a tower to heaven to make them a name when they should scatter

Genesis 11:3-4 "And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. {4} And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth."

JUDGMENT & MERCY: God confused their languages; scattered them over the earth where they went with others of a common language to a new place to live.

Genesis 11:5-9 "And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. {6} And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. {7} Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. {8} So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. {9} Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God will use languages for His remnant to pray to Him.

Acts 2:4-6, 11 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. {5} And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. {6} Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. {11} Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God." Foreign languages used by God to communicate the works of God.

1 Corinthians 14:18 "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:" Paul's praying

VIII) FAITH DISPENSATION:

God worked with one man - Abraham to be patriarch of a people (Jews), a land (Israel), & blessing to faithful believers in the one God + only trust & obey God as a test

This dispensation has God selecting His man - Abraham to be the father of believers in God & also the father of the Jewish people by his son Isaac. Through the line of the Jewish people the Messiah of Israel & the world will come - Jesus. Those who believe as Abraham believed in God will live & those that do not believe like Abraham will die. Abraham leaves his family to start a new family (Jewish people). He leaves the land where his family lived to go to a new land (Israel) which will exist forever as the Jewish state. God states that those who bless Abraham & his family, the Jewish people, will be blessed and those that curse them will be cursed.

Abraham is the father of the faithful. Abraham believed God & it was counted to him for righteousness. God chose a person to be patriarch of His people of faith & the one true God.

Romans 4:11 "And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:"

MERCY: God supplies the faith to the person who believes; they cried to God who raised up an Moses as their deliver

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God blesses a remnant by faith in Jesus imputed righteousness

Psalms 32:1-2 "A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. {2} Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."

IX) LAW DISPENSATION:

Moses (leads Jewish slaves to Israel) is given God's commandments to govern relationships between "man to God & man" + man is to keep God's laws as a test, but trust in God

This dispensation has Moses receiving God's commandments (moral, civil, ceremonial) to govern man's behaviors. This occurred 430 years after Abrahamic covenant which is still in effect when Mosaic covenant is instituted. The Mosaic covenant upon which this dispensation was administered was conditional/mutual depending on man responding. The laws was administrated by judge type rulers for ~450 years after leaving Egypt until God added prophets & kings to administrate His people & His kingdom on earth. The law was always a guide to shows man that they can't keep it & must depend on God's grace and mercy of the Abraham covenant, not their own works or efforts. The results is their unbelief keeping them 40 years in the desert before entering the promise land.

Galatians 3:17 "And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect." This is a time from Abraham to Moses. Genesis 15:13, Exodus 12:40-41, Acts 7:6

START: Moses receives the Ten Commandments from God. The law was given to Israel & not to the Gentiles (who are not under the law, but under its principles).

1) LAW GIVEN TO ISRAEL & NOT TO GENTILES:

Exodus 19:3 "And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;"

Deuteronomy 5:1-2 "And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. {2} The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb."

TYPES OF LAWS:

MORAL: Exodus 20:1-26, CIVIL: Exodus 21:1-27, CEREMONIAL: Exodus 25:1-40

A) MOSAIC COVENANT: [1] 10 Commandments [2] all commandments [3] land [4] Signs / Tokens: Continue with Circumcision & Sabbath

Deuteronomy 4:13-14 "And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, [1] <even> ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. {14} And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it." Ten commandments govern Jews today. However, some Jewish group put 613 laws around them. Other Jewish groups have reduce them.

Deuteronomy 11:8-9 "Therefore shall [2] ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and [3] go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; {9} And that ye may prolong <your> days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey."

Exodus 31:12-14 "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, {13} Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, [4] Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. {14} Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people."

COMPLETION:

SHORT TERM: Enter the Promise land obeying the laws of God.

LATTER: When Israel is restored to their promise land, see Palestinian / Land covenant.

LONG TERM: At the death of Jesus on the cross & His resurrection.

Exodus 19:7-8 "And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. {8} And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD."

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: They depended upon their works, righteousness, & efforts.

Romans 2:12-15 "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; {13} (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. {14} For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: {15} Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)"

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Failure to keep laws = punish by enemies. They are kept from the promise land for 40 years for their unbelief. Yet, God preserves a remnant.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Messiah will have a ministry of prophet & miracles like Moses.

Deuteronomy 18:15, 18-19 "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; {18} I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. {19} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." Messiah will be a prophet like Moses.

John 6:14 "Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world."

X) ISRAEL DISPENSATION:

Israel is initially administrated by Judges & later by Kings (its first king was Saul.) Israel & Judah are both guided by God's commandments to Moses & Abraham's faith covenant

With a moveable tabernacle including the ark of the covenant for the place to worship God.

This dispensation has the Jewish people as God's peculiar treasure, chosen people on earth to present the single God with His laws. Their failure begins a cycle of the Jewish people sinning against God. God then judges them by subjecting them to a foreign nation as punishment. Then the people cry out to God & they repent. God raises a deliver (who becomes the next generation's judge) & the sequence continues again. At a later time the Jewish people request a king, thereby rejecting God as their king. God has Samuel anoint Saul as their king even though God had prepared David to be Israel's king. Later Saul disobeys God, & he is rejected by God as their king. God raises up David as the next king.

START: Joshua takes the Jewish people into the promise land as their administrator.

Deuteronomy 7:7 "The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye <were> the fewest of all people:"

COMPLETION: Saul dies & no longer is king over Israel.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: The judges & kings depended upon their works, efforts, & righteousness. The people are to be a kingdom of priests to show the one God & His law to the Gentiles.

Exodus 19:5-6 "Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth <is> mine: {6} And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These <are> the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel."

A) JUDGES: Rulers established by God over His people in His land. See book of Judges.

Judges 2:11-17 "And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: {12} And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. {13} And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. {14} And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

{15} Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed. {16} Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them. {17} And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so." Repeat cycles.

B) KING: People desire to be like other lands & kingdoms rejecting God as their king. Saul is 1st king, but not the one God originally appointed which is David.

1 Samuel 8:5-7 "And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. {6} But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. {7} And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them."

1 Samuel 9:17 "And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people."

1 Samuel 13:13-14 "And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. {14} But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee."

1 Samuel 15:10-11, 22-23 "Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, {11} It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

{22} And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. {23} For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Failure to keep laws removed Saul as king, God made David king

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Messiah will be a king & ruler who will gather His people

Genesis 49:10 "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; & unto him shall the gathering of the people be."Messiah is from tribe of Judah

XI) DAVIDIC KINGSHIP DISPENSATION:

God anoints David king over Israel with a promise for a kingdom that would last forever through his seed that of Jesus who will reign forever. Solomon, David's first offspring, built the temple in Jerusalem for Israel to worship God with sacrifices.

This dispensation has God putting David as king over His people. He promises David that his house or family through his seed will be forever. The family of Judah, by David, will be on his throne as king forever. David's family will rule the kingdom forever. The sign of this covenant is a son with David's seed continuing to the son of David & of God - Jesus.

START: David is anointed king over Israel.

2 Samuel 5:3-5 "So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. {4} David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. {5} In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah."

2 Samuel 7:11-17 "And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. [1] Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house. {12} And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. {13} He shall build an house for my name, and [2] I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. {14} I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: {15} But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. {16} [3] And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. {17} According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David."

Luke 1:30-33 "And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. {31} And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and [4] bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. {32} He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and [2] the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: {33} And [1] he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever [3] of his kingdom there shall be no end." Jesus continues the covenants.

COMPLETION:

SHORT TERM: At King Solomon's death.

LONG TERM: Ends in final judgment when people are judged from the book of life.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Faith in God's promise for everlasting kingdom & throne for David's seed who obey God's commandments. Sin bring foreign ruler ship & slavery.

2 Samuel 24:10 "And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly."

Psalms 51:2-4 "Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. {3} For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. {4} Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest."

JUDGMENT & MERCY: God did not punish Solomon for his sin, but delayed punishment to a distance future generation.

2 Samuel 7:13-15 "He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. {14} I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: {15} But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee."

ULTIMATE SALVATION: David sinned, repented, God forgave him, & restored his faith.

XII) PROPHET DISPENSATION:

The kings became corrupt; Judah & Israel worshipped false gods in false places of worship. Israel & Judah are both guided by God's commandments to Moses & Abraham's faith covenant. But because of their sins God through His prophets judged the people.

This dispensation has Israel's kings becoming corrupted resulting in God punishing Israel by allowing Assyria to defect them & take them captive. Also Judah sins & is taken by Nebuchadnezzar's to Babylon with a final defect resulting in the temples destruction & 70 years of captivity in Babylon.

START: Solomon's sons, Rehoboam & Jeroboam, split David's kingdom into two.

COMPLETION: After Daniel, God allows the Jewish people to return to Israel & restore the city Jerusalem under Nehemiah & the temple under Ezra.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Israel & Judah are both guided by God's commandments to Moses & Abraham's faith covenant. They sinned & turned after other gods.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: God punished them by Assyria taking Israel captive, & Babylon taking Judah captive for 70 years. God put the prophet Daniel into Babylonian with the ability to interprets visions. He became the 2nd most important leader there.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jesus dies for mankind's sins, giving his life then lives again.

Isaiah 53:4-11 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. {5} But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. {6} All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. {7} He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. {8} He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. {9} And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. {10} Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. {11} He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities."

1) TIMES OF THE GENTILES: Completed either in 1976 when Israel won Jerusalem or at Jesus returns at His second coming. This is a period of time in which the Gentiles control Jerusalem and Israel.

Luke 21:24 "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."

2) DANIEL'S 70 WEEKS: This Old Testament scripture prophesied Christ's death 490 years before Jesus came. It also predicts the future coming of the antichrist.

Daniel 9:24-27 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. {25} Know therefore and understand, <that> from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince <shall be> seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. {26} And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof <shall be> with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. {27} And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make <it> desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

XIII) BETWEEN OLD & NEW TESTAMENTS DISPENSATION:

No prophet exist since Malachi; temple is rebuilt by Rome, sacrifice, & worship is centered in Jerusalem; Judaism is guided by God's commandments to Moses & Abraham's faith covenant; Israel is controlled by the Roman empire. The people cry for a Messiah to come.

This dispensation has Judah & Israel rejecting God so they are punished by foreign countries inhabiting them. The temple has a foreign ruler committing the abomination that made desolate in the holy place. The priestly tribe Maccabees fights the foreign rulers.

START: The prophet Malachi dies off. Israel & Judah have been without a king for several hundred years.

COMPLETION: Jesus is born.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Hold unto the faith & commandments of God with limited guidance from prophets. The priests are still performing their religious service.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Judah & Israel rejected God so they are punished by foreign countries inhabiting them. The temple is not destroyed by God's judgments.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God is soon having the Messiah come to earth & paid for sins.

Malachi 3:1-3 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. {2} But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: {3} And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness."

XIV) JESUS FIRST COMING DISPENSATION:

Jewish religious leaders reject Jesus fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies. Jesus states that the kingdom of God has arrived with His signs & miracles. The Jewish religious leaders contribute His healing to Satan resulting in God putting them aside for 2,000 years.

This dispensation has God's son Jesus coming to the earth to teach mankind about God & then dying for mankind's sins. Jesus performed many diverse miracles. Sign & wonders followed Him as He presented the message that the kingdom of God has arrived. There two Messiahs shown in the Old Testament. The first is a suffering & dying Messiah. The second is a mighty Messiah who bring peace & prosperity to mankind. The religious leadership rejects Jesus as their Messiah. God goes to the Gentiles. Both Jews & Gentiles become equal members of the Church of God.

Galatians 1:4 "Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:" Jesus first coming for God's judgment of sin.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Jesus miracles and teachings prove He is the Messiah. The Jewish religious leadership needs to receive Jesus as their Messiah.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Jewish leadership rejects Jesus, & God goes to the Gentiles. Both Jews & Gentiles are equal members of the Church of God.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jesus is God one with the Father who died for mankind's sins then rose from the death three days later that we may receive the Holy Spirit & remit sins.

John 1:1, 12, 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. {12} But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {14} And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

John 10:30 "I and my Father are one.";

John 14:6-9 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. {7} If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. {8} Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. {9} Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?" To see Jesus is to see the Father.

John 19:33-35 "But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: {34} But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. {35} And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe." Jesus died for mankind's sins

John 20:8-9, 21-23 "Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. {9} For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. {21} Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. {22} And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: {23} Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained." Jesus was resurrected from the dead & gave us a ministry to go to others forgiving sins with the power of the Holy Spirit.

XV) CHURCH - GRACE DISPENSATION:

God establish the church allowing gentiles to be part of His kingdom. The Jewish religious system, having rejected Jesus, is put aside until the end days when God will save all Israel. Salvation is by grace with faith in Jesus death & resurrection by His imputed righteousness

This dispensation has lasted ~2,000 years with the temple being destroyed in 70 AD; the saints scatter to meeting in homes around the world; the apostles dies; the Bible is put together ~400 AD; the Church becoming an organization under men not God; it is in need of reform so it forms many denominations; Bible printed in many languages; the Church is again under men not God; Church returning to many independent non-denominations centered on Bible teaching; It is controlled by the Holy Spirit & becomes evangelical.

1) CHURCH AGE: Jews and Gentiles as one coheirs in the Church of Jesus Christ

2) HOLY SPIRIT BREATHED ON DISCIPLES: This was the 1st experience of Holy Spirit given in large measure (salvation in church age).

John 20:21-23 "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace <be> unto you: as <my> Father hath sent me, even so send I you. {22} And when he had said this, he breathed on <them>, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: {23} Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; <and> whose soever <sins> ye retain, they are retained."

Acts 2:2-4 "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. {3} And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. {4} And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Hebrews 6:5 "And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,"

SHORT TERM: End with the 1st rapture of over-comers saints & beginning of Tribulation 7 years period.

LONGER TERM: Ends in final judgment when people are judged from book of life.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Receive the grace of God by the imputed righteousness of Jesus for salvation. Reject any type of law or works for receiving God salvation & blessings.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: The non-elect church members have rejected the imputed righteousness of Jesus for their salvation & they will perish. God has a remnant elected for salvation.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God has given grace to save us by faith in Jesus unto works.

XVI) ISRAEL RESTORED DISPENSATION:

God restores Israel to their land in 1948 & to Jerusalem as their capital in 1976. The Jewish people have not received Jesus as savior, but a large number of Jews as the remnant have been saved. The Jewish people are fighting Arabs & the most of world governments.

This dispensation has Israel return back to their land given to them forever by God's promise to Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob. The land was restored to them in one day as UN voted which foretold in scriptures. The Jewish people fight to keep the land in several wars again most Arab countries. Final they win the 1976 war which puts under their control the full city of Jerusalem. This may end the Times of the Gentiles.

COMPLETION: End of the Great Tribulation 7 years End Time; Jesus 2nd Coming

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: To receive Jesus as their Messiah

JUDGMENT & MERCY: God judges Israel with world in which over half the people are killed within the 7 years Tribulation period. God protects & saves a remnant.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jewish people are back in their land still trying to establish a righteousness by the law, which no one can keep, not trusting in Jesus righteousness.

Romans 10:1-5 "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. {2} For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

{3} For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. {4} For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. {5} For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them."

XVII) DAY OF THE LORD DISPENSATION:

This starts the tribulation & great tribulation 7 years period. The antichrist makes a peace covenant with Israel for the first 3 1/2 years to build the temple & start sacrificing to God. In the second 3 1/2 years the antichrist breaks the covenant, stops the sacrifices to God, & he makes himself as a god going into the temple to commit the abomination of desolation.

This dispensation has Israel making a covenant with the antichrist to build the temple & start sacrifices. Israel offered sacrifices for the first 3 & 1/2 years of the tribulation. The antichrist in the second 3 & 1/2 years of the 7 years period, breaks the covenant & stops the sacrifice to God. He goes into the temple Holy place & has an unholy sacrifices offer to himself thereby committing the abomination of desolation. The 7 years period is the worst time to live. Over half the population of the world is killed by war, antichrist, or disease.

It is also called the time of Jacob's trouble. The antichrist forces all people to get 666 on their head or hand to buy & sell. He controls all peoples & hate the chosen people of God the Jews. Israel is suffering greater than in any other period of time & ends in a war called Armageddon. The Jewish people cry out to God who comes again as their Messiah Jesus, & God opens their eyes to see that the man they rejected all these years is their Messiah. God is merciful to the Church of God by performing several raptures during this period.

1) RAPTURE:

The rapture is the method by which Jesus (groom) is coming for His bride (church) for marriage. The word rapture is not found in scriptures. Below are other names found in the Bible for rapture.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. {15} For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive <and> remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. {16} For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: {17} Then we which are alive <and> remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Revelation 19:7-9 "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. {8} And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. {9} And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed <are> they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."

2) TRIBULATION/DAY OF THE LORD:

Joel 1:15 "Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD <is> at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come."

2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

START: The over-comer Christians are raptured. Start of 7 years tribulation period. The antichrist begins his power struggle to control the world.

COMPLETION: End of the 7 years period when Jesus returns in His second coming.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: The Christians not raptured must hold on to their faith during the tribulations & many may die. The world will hate Jesus because of wars, ETC.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: People who take 666 will die in their sins. God will take some Christians in follow-on raptures.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Soon return of Jesus for His Church in rapture & 2nd coming.

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 "Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, {52} In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. {53} For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

XVIII) JESUS SECOND COMING:

START: At the end of 7 years tribulation period. Israel is in Armageddon war against antichrist & world.

COMPLETION: 1,000 year reign as king in Jerusalem.

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: Believe Jesus is God & savior, Do not take 666 number of support the antichrist against Israel.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: Unbelievers judged & removed from earth. Believers stay 1,000 years with Jesus on His earthly throne.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: God separates evil from good people to start His earth kingdom

2 Timothy 4:1 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;"

XIX) MILLENNIAL KINGDOM DISPENSATION:

Jesus reigns in Jerusalem. Satan is locked up for 1,000 years then released for a season. The Christians had offspring who follow Satan in a war against Jesus & are defected then judged. This ends the earth which is burnt up & purified.

This dispensation has Jesus sitting on His throne in Jerusalem. Satan is locked up for the 1,000 years so that no man is tempted during that period. Jesus removed all unbelievers & starts the period with only Christians. The Christians have children many of which follow Satan, after his release, in a war against Jesus & are defeated then judged. The remaining Christians are raptured. The earth & heavens are burnt up & purified.

1) MILLENNIUM: One thousand years.

Zechariah 14:16 "And it shall come to pass, <that> every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."

Revelation 2:26-27 "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: {27} And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father."

A) KINGDOM / NEW COVENANT: [1] New Covenant better than the Old Covenant because of better promises [2] New Covenant made with Israel & Judah [3] Old Covenant with Israel when taken out of Egypt which they broke [4] New Covenant puts God's law in their mind & heart not needed to teach them to anyone [5] Old Covenant to vanish away

Hebrews 8:6-13 "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, [1] by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. {7} For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. {8} For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when [2] I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: [3] {9} Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. {10} For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; [4] I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: {11} And they shall not teach every man Know the Lord: for all shall know me his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying,, from the least to the greatest. {12} For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. {13} In that he saith, [5] A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."

Jeremiah 31:31-34 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: {32} Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

{33} But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. {34} And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy <is> he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

b) JUDGE YOURSELF/GOD CHASTENS:

1 Corinthians 11:31-32 "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. {32} But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world."

Revelation 3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

c) BELIEVER'S WORDS/WORKS:

Matthew 12:36 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."

2 Corinthians 5:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things <done> in <his> body, according to that he hath done, whether <it be> good or bad."

d) FINAL JUDGMENT OF WICKED - GREAT WHITE THRONE:

Revelation 20:11-15 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. {12} And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is <the book> of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {14} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

3) HELL:

a) ABODE OF THE DEAD:

Luke 16:23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

Acts 2:27 "Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption."

b) FOR ANGELS:

2 Peter 2:4 "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast <them> down to hell, and delivered <them> into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;"

c) LAKE OF FIRE:

Matthew 25:41 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Revelation 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet <are>, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

4) HEAVEN:

a) ABRAHAM'S BOSOM:

Luke 16:22 "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;" Jesus brought people to Paradise after the cross.

b) PARADISE:

Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Abraham's Bosom first.

2 Corinthians 12:4 "How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter"

c) THIRD HEAVEN:

2 Corinthians 12:2 "I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven."

START: Jesus 2nd coming with the saints. Lock up Satan for 1,000 years, judge the false prophet & antichrist to the Lake of Fire. Remove all unbelievers in Jesus as savior & God.

COMPLETION: Great White throne Judgment for unbelievers in Jesus & purify the earth

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: When Satan is release believe in Jesus & do not support Satan war against good & God.

JUDGMENT & MERCY: No temptation during 1,000 years as Satan is locked up. Unbelievers who sin during 1,000 years may die young. God saves all believers in Jesus.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jesus saves only those that trust Him

Revelation 20:7-9 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, {8} And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

{9} And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

XX) ETERNITY FUTURE DISPENSATION:

A new heaven & earth are created for God's eternity. New Jerusalem comes down to the purified earth where the elected angels & people will be forever with Jesus on His heavenly throne forever.

This dispensation has Jesus as king over the new creation with all saved people & pure angels worshiping God forever. No more Satan, sin, or evil exist. No more pain, sickness, fear, worry or death. God is the center of all things.

1) PERFECTION AGE: OMEGA OR ENDING (REVELATION 22:13)

Ephesians 2:7 "That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in <his> kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."

1 Corinthians 15:24-28 "Then <cometh> the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. {25} For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. {26} The last enemy <that> shall be destroyed <is> death. {27} For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under <him>, <it is> manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. {28} And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all."

2) OLD HEAVENS & OLD EARTH DESTROYED BY FIRE:

2 Peter 3:7 "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

3) NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH:

2 Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

Revelation 22:5 "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever."

START: New Heavens & new earth

COMPLETION: Eternity

TESTS & RESPONSIBILITY: No more tests or responsibilities

JUDGMENT & MERCY: No more judgments. Worship God for all eternity.

ULTIMATE SALVATION: Jesus is king over His people forever in perfect paradise.
