INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:
THEME:
Jesus is the Messiah that Israel
& the Jewish people are waiting for to fulfill all prophecies.
MESSIAH SHOULD BE KING LIKE UNTO DAVID:
1) FROM KING DAVID LINEAGE: Messiah is from
the tribe of Judah from David lineage.

of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:" The
Messiah, who is the branch, will come from Jesse who is David's father.
Micah 5:2 "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,
though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he
come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth
have been from of old, from everlasting." God, Jesus = going forth
have been from old & everlasting.
2) KING LIKE DAVID:
A) JEWISH TEACHING: This Messiah will be
triumph king like unto His father David.
B) SCRIPTURES:
2 Samuel 7:12-16 "And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep
with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed
out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. {13} He shall build
an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. {14} I
will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit
iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the
children of men: {15} But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took
<it> from Saul, whom I put away before thee. {16} And
thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy
throne shall be established for ever." David
Psalms 2:6-7 "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
{7} I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou
art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." Jesus, God's Son

will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and
prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. {6} In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely:
and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS." Jesus imputed righteousness
Ezekiel 37:24-25 "And David my servant <shall be> king over
them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in
my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. {25} And they shall dwell
in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have
dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, <even> they, and their children, and
their children's children for ever: and my servant David <shall be>
their prince for ever." David did not live forever, Jesus does live
forever. Jesus is that prince for ever who is king over the earth in the
Messiah kingdom.
Zechariah 14:9, 16-17 "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth:
in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. {16} And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King,
the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. {17} And
it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth
unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon
them shall be no rain." They should come to Jerusalem to worship the LORD Jesus.

everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. {7} Of
the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the
throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to
establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." Jesus is king from
David's lineage. He is a Son given by God as the child born.
Zechariah 14:9 "And the
LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one
LORD, and his name one." God is king over His creation where He
is identified as one.

and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that
is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to
come:" Jesus is King of kings & Lord of lords.
Philippians 2:9-11
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a
name which is above every name: {10} That at the name of Jesus every

and things under the earth; {11} And that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of
Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew,
saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you."
Spiritual hunger

KEY VERSE:
Daniel 9:24-27 "Seventy
weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to
finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint
the most Holy. {25} Know therefore and understand, that from the going
forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah
the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the
street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous
times. {26} And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut
off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince
that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end
thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations
are determined. {27} And he shall confirm the covenant with many for
one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice
and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he
shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined
shall be poured upon the desolate." Messiah = H4899
WHO: God
mainly by Bible authors Moses, David, Isaiah, Zechariah, Luke, John, and Paul
TO WHOM:
Elected Christians, Israel,
Daniel, Jewish people, & the nations
WHAT:
Old Testament teach the Messiah suffers & dies before He is king of
peace forever
JEWISH TEACHING: The Messiah is to suffer & die for man's sins.
Psalms 22:16 "For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced
my hands and my feet." Jesus fulfilled this scripture by being pierced
to the cross.
B) SCRIPTURES:
1) WHAT & WHY: TYPE OF SUFFERING &
DEATH FOR OTHER'S SINS
Genesis 3:21
"Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins,
and clothed them." A sacrifice for sin is required by God,
sacrificing animals making man coat of skins.
Leviticus 1:4 "And he
shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be
accepted for him to make atonement for him." The people's sins were
imputed to the sacrificed one
Psalms 22:11-19 "Be not far
from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. {12} Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. {13} They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a
ravening and a roaring lion. {14} I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is
melted in the midst of my bowels. {15} My
strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth
to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. {16} For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of
the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. {17}
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. {18} They part my garments among them, and cast
lots upon my vesture. {19} But be not
thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to
help me." Jesus suffers on the cross.
Isaiah 53:3-12 "He is
despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted
with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised,
and we esteemed him not. {4} Surely he hath
borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
{5} But he was wounded for our transgressions, he
was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon
him; and with his stripes we are healed. {6} All we like sheep have
gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid
on him the iniquity of us all. {7} He was oppressed, and he was
afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb
to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers
is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. {8} He
was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of
the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. {9} And he made his grave with the wicked, and with
the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither
was any deceit in his mouth. {10} Yet it
pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when
thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he
shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
{11} He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:
by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he
shall bear their iniquities. {12} Therefore will I
divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the
strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered
with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors." Jesus suffered & died for
man's sins & iniquities.
WHY:
To fulfill all scripture prophecies concerning the Messiah
JESUS FULFILLMENT: Jesus fulfilled these scriptures by dying on the cross
for sins.
1) MESSIAH SUFFERING & DEATH PROPHECIES:
GARDEN EDEN AFTER MAN SINS
Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity
between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it
shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." First Messiah prophecy of death.
2) SACRIFICE OFFERING: The cross is the way Roman punished & stoning is the
way Jews did.
Genesis 22:5, 8 "And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here
with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come
again to you. {8} And Abraham said, My son, God
will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them
together."
In vs 8, Abraham
believed God that Isaac would be sacrificed & be killed. Abraham also believed
God that through Isaac his seed would come so that Isaac would be resurrected
back to life.
Deuteronomy 21:22-23 "And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death,
and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: {23} His
body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any
wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;)
that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth
thee for an inheritance." Cursed for man's sins
Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every
one that hangeth on a tree:" Jesus fulfilled
Deuteronomy 21:22-23
Zechariah 13:6-7 "And one shall say unto him, What
are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those
with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. {7} Awake, O sword, against
my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the
LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be
scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I
also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
{4} And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures:" Jesus is the Christ or Messiah who died &
rose.
1 Peter 2:24 "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on
the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live
unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" Our sins
are imputed to God
3) MESSIAH RESURRECTION: Jesus was
raised from His dead & also will the Christian.
Genesis 22:5 "And Abraham
said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad
will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." Abraham was
taking Issac to kill him, but he believed in Isaac's
literal resurrection. God told Abraham Isaac would be bring
offspring.
Psalms 16:10
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." An Old
Testament prophecy that the Holy One, the Messiah, would not remain dead.
Acts 2:27
"Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." Jesus came back to life
after dying on the cross. Jesus did not see corruption.
Psalms 49:15 "But God
will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me.
Selah." Jesus did not stay death in the grave.
Isaiah 26:19 "Thy
dead men shall live, together with my dead body
shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew
is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead."
The Old Testament teaches resurrection.
Daniel 12:1-2 "And at that
time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such
as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at
that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written
in the book. {2} And many of them that sleep in the
dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame <and> everlasting contempt." Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 "But
now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept. {21} For since by man came
death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. {22} For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive. {23} But every man in his own order: Christ
the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming." In the last days
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope. {14} For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
WAY:
Jesus 1st coming to suffer & die for man's sins & 2nd coming
as king over the earth
COMING OF ELIJAH THE PROPHET:
A) JEWISH TEACHING: Elijah will return
before the Day of the Lord.
B) SCRIPTURES:
Isaiah 40:3-5 "The voice of him that crieth
in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight
in the desert a highway for our God. {4} Every
valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:
and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
{5} And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall
see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."
This is the Elijah who came before Jesus first coming
Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall
prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall
suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom
ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts."
The Elijah before 1st coming
Malachi 4:5-6 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before
the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: {6} And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the
children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I
come and smite the earth with a curse." Second coming
1) FULFILLS FIRST COMING OF ELIJAH BEFORE JESUS
FIRST COMING:
Two people come in the spirit of Elijah. The first
came before the first coming of Jesus as a messenger to prepare the way. The
second comes before the second coming of Jesus before the great & dreadful
day of the Lord (Tribulation - 7 years period) in the end times, last &
latter days.
Matthew 11:10-11, 13-14 "For this is he, of whom it is written,
Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy
way before thee. {11} Verily I say unto
you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater
than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom
of heaven is greater than he. {13} For
all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. {14} And
if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come."
Jesus said that John is the one to come to prepare
the way and at the same time come as Elias.
John 1:21-27, 29 "And they asked him, What
then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not.
Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
{22} Then said they unto him, Who art thou?
that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? {23} He said, I am the
voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord,
as said the prophet Esaias. {24} And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. {25} And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ,
nor Elias, neither that prophet? {26} John answered them,
saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth
one among you, whom ye know not; {27} He it is, who coming
after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to
unloose. {29} The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb
of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
John did not claim to be Elias.
2) FULFILLS SECOND COMING OF ELIJAH BEFORE
JESUS SECOND COMING:
Matthew 17:1-3, 10--13 "And after six days Jesus taketh
Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them
up into an high mountain apart, {2} And was transfigured before them:
and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the
light. {3} And, behold, there appeared unto
them Moses and Elias talking with him. {10} And his
disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must
first come? {11} And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias
truly shall first come, and restore all things. {12} But I say
unto you, That Elias is come already,
and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed.
Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. {13} Then
the disciples understood that he spake unto them of
John the Baptist." Elijah ministry is to restore relationships with
God & man at Elijah second coming.
Luke 1:16-17 "And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. {17} And he shall go before him in the spirit and
power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people
prepared for the Lord." Second Elijah will come before Jesus second
coming in last days to fulfill this scripture.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT: Jesus is prophet like
Moses said would come & not Elijah.
PROPHET COMING LIKE MOSES:
A) JEWISH TEACHING: The Messiah will be
like unto the prophet Moses.
B) SCRIPTURES:
Deuteronomy 18:15, 18-19 "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a
Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me;
unto him ye shall hearken; {18} I will raise them up a Prophet from
among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in
his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
{19} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my
words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."
This prophet will reveal major future events which can be tested if they come
true.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT: Jesus fulfilled the
Moses prophet scriptures.
Acts 3:20-23
"And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto
you: {21} Whom the heaven must receive
until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by
the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. {22} For Moses
truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up
unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things
whatsoever he shall say unto you. {23} And it
shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet,
shall be destroyed from among the people." Jesus is that prophet that
all Jesus prophecies came true. Those who did not hear His words where
destroyed.
Acts 7:37 "This is that Moses, which said unto
the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you
of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear" Jesus
is that prophet

mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they

plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of
their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God."

be their God, and they shall be my people. {34} And they
shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every
man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all
know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the
LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no
more." Universal knowledge of the Lord God.
Habakkuk 2:14 "For the earth shall be filled
with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." Universal knowledge of the Lord God.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT: Jesus will fulfill
new covenant prophecies of knowing God.
Romans 10:2-4 "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
{3} For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not
submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. {4} For
Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."
God's righteousness in Christ
1 Corinthians 1:4-5 "I thank my God always on your behalf, for
the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; {5} That in every
thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all
knowledge;" God's grace, by Jesus, enriches them in all knowledge.
Ephesians 3:18-19 "May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and
height; {19} And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all
the fulness of God." Christ love passes
knowledge to fullness of God.
Philippians 3:8 "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss
for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my
Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them
but dung, that I may win Christ," The most important knowledge
is who is the Messiah.
Colossians 2:2-3 "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit
together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding,
to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father,
and of Christ; {3} In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and
knowledge."
God's understanding of the mystery of the Messiah
is a God's treasure of wisdom & knowledge.
2 Peter 1:2-3, 7-8 "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through
the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, {3} According as his
divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
{7} And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness
charity. {8} For if these things be in you,
and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor
unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." His knowledge
of God/Messiah increases his grace & peace from God.

body. {22} When therefore he was
risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto
them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had
said." At Jesus first coming His death. burial,
& resurrection were equated to rebuilding the temple. In His second coming

WHAT JEWISH PEOPLE ARE LOOKING
FOR IN A MESSIAH?
I) TWO MESSIAHS:
MASHIACH BEN YOSEF: SON OF
JOSEPH: Messiah who suffers & dies.
A) JEWISH TEACHING: The
Messiah is to suffer & die for man's sins.
Psalms 22:16
"For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of
the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet."
Jesus fulfilled this scripture by being pierced to the cross.
B) SCRIPTURES:
1) WHAT & WHY: TYPE OF SUFFERING & DEATH FOR OTHER'S SINS
{16} For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of
the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. {17}
{12} Therefore will I
divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the
strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was
numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors." Jesus suffered & died for
man's sins & iniquities.
2) WHEN: ( 70 X 7 - 7 OR 483 YEARS), WHERE (JERUSALEM), & WHAT (MAN'S SINS):
Daniel 9:24-26 "Seventy
weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.{25} Know
therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to
restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be
seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and
the wall, even in troublous times. {26} And after threescore and two weeks shall
Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the
prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof
shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are
determined." Messiah shall die, cut off, for sins.
See my Paper: "Daniel's
Prophecy of the 70 Weeks" for more information on this subject.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
Jesus fulfilled these scriptures by dying on the cross for sins.
1) MESSIAH SUFFERING
& DEATH PROPHECIES: GARDEN EDEN AFTER MAN SINS

thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt
bruise his heel." First Messiah prophecy of death.
2) SACRIFICE OFFERING: The cross is the way Roman punished &
stoning is the way Jews did.
Genesis 22:5, 8 "And
Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the
lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. {8} And
Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a
lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together."
In vs 8, Abraham believed God that Isaac would be sacrificed & be
killed. Abraham also believed God that through Isaac his seed would come so
that Isaac would be resurrected back to life.
Deuteronomy 21:22-23 "And if
a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death,
and thou hang him on a tree: {23} His body shall not remain all night
upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for
he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which
the LORD thy God giveth thee for an
inheritance." Cursed for man's sins
Galatians 3:13
"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" Jesus fulfilled Deuteronomy
21:22-23
Zechariah 13:6-7 "And one
shall say unto him, What are these wounds in
thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those
with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. {7} Awake, O sword, against
my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the
LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be
scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For I
delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures; {4} And that he was
buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
Jesus is the Christ or Messiah who died & rose.
1 Peter 2:24
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that
we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by
whose stripes ye were healed" Our sins are imputed to God

Events, and Identity" for more information on this subject.
3) MESSIAH RESURRECTION: Jesus was raised from His dead & also will
the Christian.
See my Paper: "Between
Jesus Death & Resurrection What Did He Accomplish?" for more information on this subject.
Genesis 22:5 "And Abraham
said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad
will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." Abraham was
taking Isaac to kill him, but he believed in Isaac's literal resurrection. God told Abraham Isaac would be bring forth his offspring.
Psalms 16:10
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." An Old
Testament prophecy that the Holy One, the Messiah, would not remain dead.

"Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." Jesus came back to life
after dying on the cross. Jesus did not see corruption.

will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me.
{14} For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."

assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." All nations.
Isaiah 43:5-6 "Fear not:
for I <am> with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather

to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my
daughters from the ends of the earth;" Jewish people from all the
world.
Jeremiah 16:15
"But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the
children of Israel
from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven
them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto
their fathers." Russia
has released the Jewish people from their land.

a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out." God will gather the Jewish people from
where they were scattered/restore them.

Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather
them on every side, and bring them into their own land: {22} And I
will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one
king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations,
neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:"
Israel exist as one nation.
Zechariah 10:6 "And I will
strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place

of the Kingdom of God to Israel" for more information on this subject.
Isaiah 66:8 "Who hath heard
such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the

day the state of Israel
as a country.
Amos 9:14-15 "And I
will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel,
and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they
shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall
also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. {15} And I will
plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of
their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God."
Since 1948, Israel
has become like a green oasis in the entire Middle East.
III) COMING OF ELIJAH THE
PROPHET:
A) JEWISH TEACHING: Elijah
will return before the Day of the Lord.
B) SCRIPTURES:
Isaiah 40:3-5 "The voice
of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare
ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our
God. {4} Every valley shall be exalted, and every
mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made
straight, and the rough places plain: {5} And the glory of the
LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for
the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it." This is the Elijah who came
before Jesus first coming
Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I
will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the
Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even
the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he
shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." The Elijah before 1st
coming
Malachi 4:5-6 "Behold, I
will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful
day of the LORD: {6} And he shall turn the
heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to
their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Second
coming
1) FULFILLS FIRST COMING OF
ELIJAH BEFORE JESUS FIRST COMING:
Two people come in the spirit of Elijah. The first came before the first
coming of Jesus as a messenger to prepare the way. The second comes before the second
coming of Jesus before the great & dreadful day of the Lord (Tribulation -
7 years period) in the end times, last & latter days.
See my Paper: "Jesus as
Prophet, Priest, & King" for more information on this subject.
Matthew 11:10-11, 13-14
"For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
{11} Verily I say unto you, Among
them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the
Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is
greater than he. {13} For all the
prophets and the law prophesied until John. {14} And
if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come."
Jesus said that John is the one to come to prepare the way and at the same
time come as Elias.
John 1:21-27, 29 "And they
asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet?
And he answered, No. {22} Then said they
unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us.
{26} John answered them,
saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth
one among you, whom ye know not; {27} He it is, who coming
after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to
unloose. {29} The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the
Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world." John did not claim to be Elias.
2) FULFILLS SECOND COMING OF
ELIJAH BEFORE JESUS SECOND COMING:
Matthew 17:1-3, 10--13 "And
after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John
his brother, and bringeth them up into an high
mountain apart, {2} And was transfigured before them: and his face
did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. {3} And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias
talking with him. {10} And his disciples asked
him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
{11} And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first
come, and restore all things. {12} But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew
him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise
shall also the Son of man suffer of them. {13} Then
the disciples understood that he spake unto them of
John the Baptist." Elijah ministry is to restore relationships with
God & man at Elijah second coming.
Luke 1:16-17 "And many
of the children of Israel
shall he turn to the Lord their God. {17} And he shall go before him in
the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the
children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a
people prepared for the Lord." Second Elijah will come before Jesus
second coming in last days to fulfill this scripture.
See my Paper: "Passover"
for more
information on this subject.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
Jesus is prophet like Moses said would come & not Elijah.
See my Paper: "End Times
Events - Day of the Lord" for more information on this subject.

MOSES:
A) JEWISH TEACHING:
The Messiah will be like unto the prophet Moses.
B) SCRIPTURES:
Deuteronomy 18:15, 18-19 "The
LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of
thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; {18} I
will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee,
and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all
that I shall command him. {19} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever
will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will
require it of him." This prophet will reveal major future events which
can be tested if they come true.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
Jesus fulfilled the Moses prophet scriptures.
{23} And it
shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet,
shall be destroyed from among the people." Jesus is that prophet
that all Jesus prophecies came true. Those who did not hear His words where
destroyed.
Acts 7:37 "This is that
Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall
the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him
shall ye hear" Jesus is that prophet

and Jerusalem. {2} And
it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's
house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be
exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. {3} And many
people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of
the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us
of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall
go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."
Isaiah 33:20 "Look upon
Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem
a quiet habitation, a tabernacle <that> shall not be taken down;
not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall
any of the cords thereof be broken." Predicts a Jerusalem
tabernacle-temple
Ezekiel 37:26-28 "Moreover I
will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting
covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set
my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. {27} My
tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they
shall be my people. {28} And the heathen shall
know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel,
when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." Temple
forever
EZEKIEL 40-48: The rebuilt
temple specifications
Zechariah 6:12-13 "And
speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of
hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he
shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
{13} Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear
the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall
be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them
both."
Zechariah 14:16 "And it
shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King,
the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
At 2nd coming Jesus will be on throne in Jerusalem
temple.
See my Paper: "Feasts of the
Lord" for
more information on this subject.
John 2:19-22 "Jesus
answered and said unto them, Destroy
this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. {20} Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this
temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? {21} But he spake of the temple of his
body. {22} When therefore he was
risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto
them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had
said." At Jesus first coming His death. burial,
& resurrection were equated to rebuilding the temple. In His second coming
He will build a temple.
VI) EVIL ONE / ANTICHRIST:
A) JEWISH TEACHING:
Evil person will come & stop temple sacrifices to God, desolate.
B) SCRIPTURES:
Daniel 7:20-21 "And of
the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before
whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth
that spake very great things, whose look was
more stout than his fellows. {21} I beheld, and the same horn made war
with the saints, and prevailed against them;" Antichrist overcomes
three of ten horns then defects the saints.
Daniel 8:8-10 "Therefore
the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was
broken; & for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of
heaven. {9} And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which
waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward
the pleasant land. {10} And it waxed great, even to the host of
heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground,
and stamped upon them." Great horn = Alexander's the Great; Upon his death, the four notable ones are his
generals who took over as rulers of which the little horn = antichrist
who came out of one of the generals in the latter times.
Daniel 8:11-13 "Yea, he
magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily
sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
{12} And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it
practiced, and prospered. {13} Then I heard one saint speaking, and
another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the
transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be
trodden under foot?" Antichrist first allowed Israel
to sacrifice then removes them, but sacrifices the transgression of desolation
in the Jewish temple.
1) KING OF FIERCE
COUNTENANCE: Antichrist under
Satan's power destroys saints with that power.
Daniel 8:23-25 "And in
the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the
full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark
sentences, shall stand up. {24} And his
power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy
wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy
the mighty and the holy people. {25} And through
his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he
shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many:
he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be
broken without hand." Antichrist destroys saints, Jews, & is full
of pride. However, Jesus wins.
2) PRINCE THAT SHALL COME: In the last day, he will destroy the city of
Jerusalem & Jewish
temple.
He will first make a covenant with Israel,
at the beginning of the 70th week, to make sacrifices in the temple & later
break that covenant after 42 months by going into the temple claiming to be a
god (abomination to make it of desolate).
See my paper: "Daniel's
Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks" for more information on this subject.
Daniel 9:26-27 "And after threescore
and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the
people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;
and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the
war desolations are determined. {27} And he shall confirm the covenant
with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of
abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation,
and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." Like Antialus Epiphanes
did in ~175 BC rededicating temple to Zeus & sacrificing pigs, so does the
antichrist in last days setup an image of himself
& sacrifice abomination of desolate.
3) ANTICHRIST IN LATTER DAYS: 7 years tribulation period in complete control last
42 months
See my paper: "End Times
Events - Day of the Lord" for more information on this subject.
Daniel 7:24-25 "And the ten
horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he
shall subdue three kings. {25} And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints
of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be
given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."Antichrist
main control is in last 42 months time, times & half time
See my paper: "Jewish
Bible Teachings on Heaven, Hell, & Spirit Beings" for more information on this subject.
Daniel 11:31
"And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary
of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they
shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."
The antichrist takes away the sacrifice and places the abomination that
makes desolate.
Daniel 12:11
"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."
The abomination image of antichrist will stay 1290 days in the temple. It
will still be in the temple 30 days after the antichrist is removed by Jesus.
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
Matthew 24:14-16 "And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. {15} When
ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) {16}
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the
mountains:"
Jesus verifies Daniel as author of the book & the future will include
the abomination of desolate.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-8 "Let
no man deceive you by any means: for <that day shall not come>, except
there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son
of perdition; {4} Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the
temple of God, showing himself that he is God. {5} Remember ye not,
that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? {6} And
now ye know what withholdeth that he might be
revealed in his time. {7} For the
mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
{8} And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy
with the brightness of his coming:" The antichrist is the offspring of
Satan himself who goes into the temple as a god. He is restrained by the overcomer Christians until they are raptured.
VII) STOP TEMPLE SACRIFICE, ABOMINATE, & DESOLATE:
A) JEWISH TEACHING:
Antichrist will stop temple sacrifices abominate desolate temple
B) SCRIPTURES:
Daniel 8:11-14, 17 "Yea, he
magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily
sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
{12} And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced,
and prospered. {13} Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said
unto that certain saint which spake, How long
shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression
of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden
under foot? {14} And he said unto me, Unto two
thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
{17} So he came near where I stood: and when he came,
I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O
son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision." In
end times sacrifices are stopped & sanctuary defiled then cleansed.
Daniel 11:31 "And arms
shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength,
and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the
abomination that maketh desolate."
Antichrist shall permit Israel to sacrifice to God, then stop the sacrifices
& then pollute the temple
C) JESUS FULFILLMENT:
Zechariah 12:8-10 "In
that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is
feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David
shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. {9} And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will
seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
{10} And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:
and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall
mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only
son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness
for his firstborn."
Zechariah 14:3-5 "Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against
those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. {4} And his
feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst
thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very
great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and
half of it toward the south. {5} And ye shall flee
to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach
unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from
before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah:
and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee."
Luke 21:27-28 "And then
shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
{28} And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,
and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth
nigh." Jesus comes back the 2nd time to redeem man from evil one.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 "And then
shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the
spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"
Destroy evil one.

establish his kingdom. {13} He shall build an
house for my name, and I will stablish the throne
of his kingdom for ever. {14} I will be his father, and he shall be my son.
If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod
of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: {15} But my mercy shall
not depart away from him, as I took <it> from Saul, whom I put away
before thee. {16} And thine house and thy kingdom shall
be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for
ever." David

to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected
the same in hope, {21} Because the creature itself also shall be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God. {22} For we know that
the whole creation groaneth and travaileth
in pain together until now. {23} And not only they, but ourselves also,
which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even
we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to
