OVERVIEW OF ANTICHRIST

This paper discusses the antichrist that will come in the last days as an evil king, powered by Satan, and deceiving the world about Christ divinity of His coming in the flesh.  Antichrist means against Christ.  Many people in each age have been antichrist.  All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

 

INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:

THEME:  The antichrist denies Jesus as the divine Christ and Father & Son.  Antichrist is the man of sin, son of perdition, & wicked revealed one used by God.

1 John 2:22

PURPOSE:  The antichrist is the offspring of Satan himself who goes into the temple as a god.  He is restrained from coming by the overcomer Christians until they are raptured.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-8

KEY VERSE: Antichrist destroys saints, Jews, & is full of pride, but Jesus wins.

 

Daniel 8:23-25

 

WHO:  God, written mostly by Bible authors Daniel, John, and Paul. 

 

TO WHOM:  Elected Jews and Christians

WHAT The antichrist denies Jesus as the divine Christ and Father & Son.  Antichrist is the man of sin, son of perdition, & wicked revealed one used by God.

WHY:  God fulfills prophecy, where He setups kings, & rules kingdoms for His purpose. The antichrist is the offspring of Satan himself who goes into the temple as a god. He is restrained by the overcomer Christians until they are raptured.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-8

WAY:  Satan's gives his power to the antichrist to deceive the world & overcome the saints.  The last days antichrist will deny the divine Jesus came in the flesh.   

1 John 4:3

WHEREAS:  The final judgment will be never ending punishment to the beast, false prophet, and devil in the lake of fire.

Revelation 19:19-20

WHERE:  He maybe from Syria who as king of the north attacks Egypt & defects Israel.

 

Daniel 9:26-27

 

WHEN:  Spirit exists, since sin, but "The Antichrist" will come in the latter, end, & last days.  The antichrist shall come in the last days, but many antichrists exists even today.

1 John 2:18

WANT:  The antichrist is boastful trying to be like Christ thinking he is a god.

I) GENERAL: Scriptures shows that the antichrist character is evil when he exists in the end days.  Below are a few of the titles with scriptures for this person who will live in the latter/end/last days.

II) SCRIPTURE TITLES OF ANTICHRIST: Anti = Against Christ.  He is a evil liar who tries to be a god like Christ.

Scriptures refers to the "antichrist" only in these 4 verses. However the verses discuss a future with many antichrists. The verses show the character & spirit of the antichrist which shall come.

1 John 2:18 Antichrist in the last days, but many antichrists exists today

1 John 2:22  The antichrist denies Jesus as the divine Christ and Father & Son.

1 John 4:3 Last days antichrist will deny that the divine Jesus came in the flesh

2 John 1:7  Antichrist is a liar that deniles that Jesus came in the flesh

III) HORN: The horn is a symbol for power and authority such as a king.

The antichrist will be from a revived Grecian empire (Daniel 8:8-10) who will come after the ten member kingdom (Daniel 7:24) of the reviled Roman empire of the last days. He subdues three of the ten kings & takes over control of all ten kings. The antichrist is full of pride & boast. He makes war against the saints & defects them in the last 3 & 1/2 years of the tribulation period.

Daniel 7:8 Antichrist defects three horns.

Daniel 7:11  Pride: God's judgment is administered on the antichrist who is destroyed & placed in burning flames.

Daniel 7:20-21  Antichrist overcomes three of ten horns then defects the saints.

Daniel 8:8-10  Great horn = Alexander's the Great; Upon his death, the four notable ones are his generals who took over as rulers of which the little horn = antichrist who came out of one of the generals in the latter times.

IV) KING OF FIERCE COUNTENANCE: Antichrist under Satan's power destroys saints with that power.

Daniel 8:23-25 Antichrist destroys saints, Jews, & is full of pride. However, Jesus wins.

V) PRINCE THAT SHALL COME: In the last day, he will destroy the city of Jerusalem & Jewish temple. He will first make a covenant with Israel, at the beginning of the 70th week, to make sacrifices in the temple & later break that covenant after 42 months by going into the temple claiming to be a god (abomination to make it of desolate).

Daniel 9:26-27 Like Antialus Epiphanes did in ~175 BC rededicating temple to Zeus & sacrificing pigs, so does the antichrist in last days setup an image to himself & sacrifice abomination of desolate.

VI) ANTICHRIST IN LATTER DAYS - 7 YEARS TRIBULATION PERIOD IN COMPLETE CONTROL LAST 42 MONTHS:

Daniel 7:24-25  Antichrist main control is in last 42 months time, times & half time

VII) KING: He will defeat the other kings and rule by himself claiming to be above god. He is the king of the north from Syria (Daniel 11:40-45) that defects Egypt. Later he plants the tabernacle in Jerusalem.

Daniel 11:3 This is symbolic of what the antichrist shall do in End Days.

Daniel 11:16  The north king, antichrist, wins over the king of the south, Egypt, and makes his palace in Israel.

Daniel 11:36-45 Antichrist is the king of the north from Syria who defects the king of the south Egypt.

VIII) MAN OF SIN, SON OF PERDITION THE WICKED ONE: He is evil itself who makes himself into a god.

IX) AFTER THE POWER OF SATAN: The antichrist's power is from Satan who is the father of all lies. He will do signs & lying wonders to compare himself with Jesus true miracles.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11  They prefer the lies.

X) ABOMINATION OF DESOLATE: He shall plant the abomination of desolate in the holy place. The antichrist follows the example of Antialus Epipphanes in ~175 BC & places an image of a strange god in the temple offering sacrifices of unclean animals to that god.

Daniel 8:11-13 Antichrist first allowed Israel to sacrifice then removes them, but sacrifices the transgression of desolation in the Jewish temple.

Daniel 9:26-27  An interval of time exists with the statement the prince that shall come which occurs in the last days. The prince is the antichrist who destroys Jerusalem and temple.

Daniel 11:31 The antichrist takes away the sacrifice and places the abomination that makes desolate.

Daniel 12:11 The abomination image of antichrist will stay 1290 days in the temple. It will still be in the temple 30 days after the antichrist is removed by Jesus.

Matthew 24:14-16  Jesus verifies Daniel as author of the book & the future will include the abomination of desolate.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 The antichrist goes into the Jewish temple claiming to be god demanding worship & sacrifices.

XI) BEAST: He comes out of the sea (peoples), but is from Satan, as a beast to devour mankind.

Daniel 7:7 Antichrist is from the revived Roman empire in the last days, of the Daniel 2 image.

Revelation 11:7 The antichrist is powered by Satan, comes back from the dead, & kills the two witnesses.

Revelation 13:1-8 Compared with Daniel's ten horns and beasts of leopard, bear, & lion. Both Daniel & Revelation refer to 42 months period.

Revelation 13:11-18 The antichrist / 1st beast number is 666. The 2nd beast is the false prophet who will place the antichrist image into the temple to be worshipped which is the abomination that desolates the temple.

XII) BEAST THAT WAS, AND IS NOT, AND YET IS: Satan has made his antichrist also live, die, and come back from the dead to compare with Jesus life. The antichrist who gets his power from Satan was allowed by God to be resurrected from hell itself to die again then resurrected by God to be cast alive into the Lake of fire and brimstone.

Revelation 13:3-4, 12-14  Antichrist is the first beast & the false prophet is the other beast. The dragon supplies evil power to them so they may be compared with the Triunity of God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Revelation 17:7-13  The beast is the antichrist who lives, dies, & is resurrected from the dead in hell. The world wonders at his resurrection from the dead. Then the antichrist removes the three kings and gets complete control over the seven remaining king.

XIII) FINAL PUNISHMENT FOR THE BEAST: Cast alive in the lake of fire & brimstone tormented forever.

Revelation 19:19-20 Mark of beast is his # 666

Revelation 20:10 A living hell where sin is punished forever exist with the person never being destroyed.
