TWELVE TRIBES PROPHECIES

This paper discusses the prophecies Jacob made to his twelve sons on his death bed. Also included are prophecies Moses made before his death. The Bible shows many of the prophecies fulfilled. All scriptures are from the King James' version Bible.

INDUCTIVE COMMENTS:

THEME: The twelve tribes of Israel are from the twelve sons of Jacob. Each tribe has blessings and lines of family which had a place in Israel giving to them. These prophecies are what God’s had planned for the families of Israel.

Genesis 49:1-2 "And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you <that> which shall befall you in the last days. {2} Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father."

PURPOSE: God established Israel or Jewish people from the twelve sons of Jacob.

KEY VERSE:

WHO: God mainly by Bible authors Moses, Samuel, Matthew, John, and Paul

TO WHOM: Elected Christians

WHAT:

I) JACOB: Name means heel, or supplanter, who through deceit stole his Brother Esau's birthright and blessing. His name was changed to Israel which means he will be prince with God.

A) FATHER: Isaac - his name means he will laugh.

B) MOTHER: Rebekah - her name means a rope with a noose.

Genesis 49:28-33 "All these <are> the twelve tribes of Israel: and this <is it> that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. {29} And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that <is> in the field of Ephron the Hittite, {30} In the cave that <is> in the field of Machpelah, which <is> before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace. {31} There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. {32} The purchase of the field and of the cave that <is> therein <was> from the children of Heth. {33} And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people."

Jacob was permitted to see the character type of each son and his blessing is consistent with that character.

WHY: MOSES BLESSING: Name means to be taken out of the water.

Deuteronomy 33:1 "And this <is> the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death."

WAY: TWELVE TRIBES: Represented by a precious stone, gate & foundation.

Ezekiel 28:13 "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone <was> thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created." This scripture speaks of Satan.

Exodus 28:17-21 "And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, <even> four rows of stones: <the first> row <shall be> a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: <this shall be> the first row. {18} And the second row <shall be> an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. {19} And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst. {20} And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their enclosings. {21} And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, <like> the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes."

Revelation 21:19-21 "And the foundations of the wall of the city <were> garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation <was> jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; {20} The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. {21} And the twelve gates <were> twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city <was> pure gold, as it were transparent glass."

Revelation 21:12 "And had a wall great and high, <and> had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are <names> of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:"

WHEREAS: SOME OF TWELVE TRIBES PUNISHMENTS BECAUSE OF SIN:

Revelation 7:4-8 "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: <and there were> sealed an hundred <and> forty <and> four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. {5} Of the tribe of Juda <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad <were> sealed twelve thousand. {6} Of the tribe of Aser <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses <were> sealed twelve thousand. {7} Of the tribe of Simeon <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar <were> sealed twelve thousand. {8} Of the tribe of Zabulon <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph <were> sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin <were> sealed twelve thousand."

The tribe of Dan is not among the tribulation Jewish evangelists.

The tribe of Dan is however allowed in the millennial kingdom.

Ezekiel 48:1-2 "Now these <are> the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east <and> west; a <portion for> Dan. {2} And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a <portion for> Asher." Continues-other tribes are mentioned.

The tribe of Benjamin was almost destroyed completely due to sin.

Judges 21:17-18 "And they said, <There must be> an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel. {18} Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed <be> he that giveth a wife to Benjamin." They took wives of Shiloh.

God punished the tribes because of their sin. He stilled loved them and allowed the foundation and gates of the new Jerusalem to be named after the twelve tribes.

XVI) SOME OF TWELVE TRIBES PUNISHMENTS BECAUSE OF SIN:

Deuteronomy 18:20-22 "But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. {21} And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? {22} When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that <is> the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, <but> the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."

V) REUBEN: Name means behold a son. The 1st born should get a double portion of the inheritance & be a leader in the family. He lost the inheritance to Judah because he slept with Jacob's concubine.

Deuteronomy 21:17 "But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated <for> the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he <is> the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn <is> his."

A) MOTHER: Leah - her name means married. Stone: Sardius

Birth: Color: Blue/ruby/red

Genesis 29:31-32 "And when the LORD saw that Leah <was> hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel <was> barren. {32} And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:3-4 "Reuben, thou <art> my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: {4} Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou <it>: he went up to my couch."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:6 "Let Reuben live, and not die; and let <not> his men be few."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Genesis 35:22 "And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard <it>. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:" Jacob

waited twenty years to confront Reuben.

SIMEON: Names means hearing with acceptance.

A) MOTHER: Leah Stone: Topaz

Birth: Color: Green-yellow

Genesis 29:33-34 "And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I <was> hated, he hath therefore given me this <son> also: and she called his name Simeon.

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:5-7 "Simeon and Levi <are> brethren; instruments of cruelty <are in> their habitations. {6} O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. {7} Cursed <be> their anger, for <it was> fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES: None

D) PROPHECY RESULTS: Simeon and Levi were partners in a crime of lies and murder. Canaanite who seduced Dinah their sister were told that if the Canaanites were circumcised they could inter-marry. The two then killed all the males and plundered the city.

Joshua 19:1 "And the second lot came forth to Simeon, <even> for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah." Simeon shared their land. Levi was not given a land.

VI) LEVI: Name means joined. He joined Simeon in Dinah's revenge.

A) MOTHER: Leah Stone: Carbuncle/Emerald

Birth: Color: Green

Genesis 29:34 "And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:8-11 "And of Levi he said, <Let> thy Thummim and thy Urim <be> with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, <and with> whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah; {9} Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. {10} They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar. {11} Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again." Thummim and Urim are used for decisions like dice.

Numbers 35:2 "Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give <also> unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them."

Exodus 32:26 "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who <is> on the LORD'S side? <let him come> unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him."

Deuteronomy 10:8 "At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day."

VII) JUDAH: Name means praised or object of praise. The Messiah and all kings would come out of this tribe. David was from tribe of Judah. Judah received the promise in "Shiloh" shall come. In him was ruler of family also shown in "praise & bow down before thee."

A) MOTHER: Leah Stone: Garnet/Emerald Birth: Color: Red

Genesis 29:35 "And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:8-10 "Judah, thou <art he> whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand <shall be> in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. {9} Judah <is> a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? {10} The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him <shall> the gathering of the people <be>."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:7 "And this <is the blessing> of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help <to him> from his enemies."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Genesis 37:26-27 "And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit <is it> if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? {27} Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he <is> our brother <and> our flesh. And his brethren were content." Judah showed leadership in family. Also in Gen 44

Joshua 15:1 "<This> then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; <even> to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward <was> the uttermost part of the south coast." Judah was first family to get promise.

Revelation 5:5 "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."

Jesus, the Messiah, is from tribe of Judah.

VIII) DAN: Name means judgment or he that judges. Dan prominent individuals includes Samson. City of Dan became a cult center for idolatry. An idol was set up in their area after Israel was divided into two countries.

A) MOTHER: Bilhah (Rachel's handmaid) Stone: Sapphire

Birth: Her name means trouble/confuse.Color: Clear

Genesis 30:1-6 "And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die. {2} And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, <Am> I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb? {3} And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. {4} And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her. {5} And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son. {6} And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan." This is same method Sarah used to get Ishmael. It was an accepted practice of that day.

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:16-18 "Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. {17} Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. {18} I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:22 "And of Dan he said, Dan <is> a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS: Serpent is a symbol of Satan. Dan genealogies is not in 1 Chronicles 2-10. Dan is not in Revelation 7:4-8. Dan

is included in Millennial Kingdom Ezekiel 48:1-2.

Judges 18:27 "And they took <the things> which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people <that were> at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire." Took a city rename Dan.

1 Kings 12:28-29 "Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves <of> gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. {29} And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan."Bethel is in Ephraim whose missing in Rev.

IX) NAPHTALI: Name means wrestled (twisted) for. Naphtal prominent individuals include Barak in the song of Deborah and Barak. Hind is a swift to act run. Naphtali symbolizes being swift.

A) MOTHER: Bilhah (Rachel's handmaid) Stone: Diamond

Birth: Color: Clear

Genesis 30:7-8 "And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son. {8} And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:21 "Naphtali <is> a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:23 "And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Judges 5:18 "Zebulun and Naphtali <were> a people <that> jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field."

Matthew 4:13-15 "And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: {14} That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, {15} The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, <by> the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;" Most of Jesus disciples could of been from these two tribes. When Nebuchadnezzar won over a land he replace many people in the land. This area became more gentile and later from inter-marriage of Jews & gentiles the people were called Samaria's.

Romans 3:15 "Their feet <are> swift to shed blood:" Compare to:

Romans 10:15 "..How beautiful are the feet of them that preach.."

X) GAD: Name means good fortune or armed and prepared. Traditional land called Gilead. Gad prominent individuals include Elijah. Many fights with Amorites produced warriors who in the end won. David, during his fleeing from Saul, had support from Gadites. Moses blessed Gad. Gad symbolizes being ready.

A) MOTHER: Zilpah (Leah's handmaid) Stone: Jacinth/ligure/opal

Birth: Her name means dropping (fall).Color: Violet or many

Genesis 30:9-11 "When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife. {10} And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a son. {11} And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:19 "Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last." New King James version: Gad, a troop shall troop upon him, but he shall troop on their heels"

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:20-21 "And of Gad he said, Blessed <be> he that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. {21} And he provided the first part for himself, because there, <in> a portion of the lawgiver, <was he> seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Romans 8:37 "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Gad's continued fights purified him.

1 John 5:4-5 "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, <even> our faith. {5} Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" Gad overcame in the end.

XI) ASHER: Name means happy. Asher prominent individuals include Anna who prophesied over Jesus. The land of Asher is rich in olive oil and agricultural. Asher symbolizes being fruitful.

A) MOTHER: Zilpah (Leah's handmaid) Stone: Agate

Birth: Color: Striped red & green

Genesis 30:12-13 "And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a second son. {13} And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:20 "Out of Asher his bread <shall be> fat, and he shall yield royal dainties."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:24-25 "And of Asher he said, <Let> Asher <be> blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. {25} Thy shoes <shall be> iron and brass; and as thy days, <so shall> thy strength <be>."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS: Gad is a fruitful area. In like wise Christians should be fruitful of Spiritual gifts.

1 Chronicles 7:40 "All these <were> the children of Asher, heads of <their> father's house, choice <and> mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war <and> to battle <was> twenty and six thousand men."

Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, {23} Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

XII) ISSACHAR: Name means hire or wages or there is reward.

A) MOTHER: Leah Stone: Amethyst

Birth: Color: Blue-purple

Genesis 30:14-18 "And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes. {15} And she said unto her, <Is it> a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes. {16} And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her that night. {17} And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son. {18} And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:14-15 "Issachar <is> a strong ass couching down between two burdens: {15} And he saw that rest <was> good, and the land that <it was> pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:18 "And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS: Scripture's few statements are all good & positive. Moses statement could mean they were used for labor.

Judges 5:15 "And the princes of Issachar <were> with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben <there were> great thoughts of heart."

1 Chronicles 7:5 "And their brethren among all the families of Issachar <were> valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand."

1 Chronicles 12:32 "And of the children of Issachar, <which were men> that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them <were> two hundred; and all their brethren <were> at their commandment."

Matthew 16:3 "And in the morning, <It will be> foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O <ye> hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not <discern> the signs of the times?"

Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."

XIII) ZEBULUN: Name means dwelling. Leah hoped that Jacob would dwell with her.

Genesis 30:19-21 "And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son. {20} And Leah said, God hath endued me <with> a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun. {21} And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:13 "Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he <shall be> for an haven of ships; and his border <shall be> unto Zidon." Zebulun's land went to the sea after winning several wars.

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:18-19 "And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents. {19} They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck <of> the abundance of the seas, and <of> treasures hid in the sand."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Judges 4:10 "And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him." Zebulun helped Israel win the battle.

Judges 5:18 "Zebulun and Naphtali <were> a people <that> jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field."

1 Chronicles 12:33 "Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: <they were> not of double heart." Zebulun was of single heart unlike others who failed.

James 1:8 "A double minded man <is> unstable in all his ways."

XIV) JOSEPH: Name means he shall add. Jacob mentions five titles of God in his prophecy: Mighty God, Shepherd, Stone, God & Almighty.

Bless & blessings appear six times. Joseph received the double portion, of land, which was given to his two sons. Jacob adopts Ephraim & Manasseh as his two sons. Loved by Jacob & envy by others

Many parallels in Jesus life and Joseph such as the following:

Joseph is the delight of his Father; Jesus is the delight of his Father.

Joseph rejected by his brothers; Jesus rejected by his own.

Joseph sold into Egypt; Jesus fled into Egypt by parents.

Joseph forgave his brothers; Jesus forgave his people.

Joseph took gentile bride; Jesus is calling gentile bride.

A) MOTHER: Rachel Stone: Onyx/carnelian

Birth: Her name means an ewe (sheep). Color: Stripe black&white

Genesis 30:22-24 "And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. {23} And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: {24} And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son."

B) JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:22-26 "Joseph <is> a fruitful bough, <even> a fruitful bough by a well; <whose> branches run over the wall: {23} The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot <at him>, and hated him: {24} But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty <God> of Jacob; (from thence <is> the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) {25} <Even> by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: {26} The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren."

C) MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:13-17 "And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD <be> his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, {14} And for the precious fruits <brought forth> by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, {15} And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, {16} And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and <for> the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let <the blessing> come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him <that was> separated from his brethren. {17} His glory <is like> the firstling of his bullock, and his horns <are like> the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they <are> the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they <are> the thousands of Manasseh."

D) PROPHECY RESULTS:

Genesis 48:5 "And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, <are> mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine."

Genesis 48:16-19 "The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. {17} And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head. {18} And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this <is> the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. {19} And his father refused, and said, I know <it>, my son, I know <it>: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations."

1 Peter 5:6 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

Matthew 25:21 "His lord said unto him, Well done, <thou> good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

XV) BENJAMIN: Name means son of happiness or right hand. Benjamin prominent individual include Saul and the Apostle Paul. Benjamin means right hand but Benjamites were characterized by left handed men (Judges 20:15-16). Benjamin was at the center of a civil war that devastated them (Judges 19-21). Benjamin included some famous cities such as Bethel where a idols was set up for Israel to worship and more importantly, Jerusalem.

Genesis 35:16-18 "And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. {17} And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. {18} And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin."

JACOB PROPHECIES:

Genesis 49:27 "Benjamin shall ravin <as> a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil."

MOSES PROPHECIES:

Deuteronomy 33:12 "<And> of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; <and the LORD> shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders."

PROPHECY RESULTS:

Judges 20:15-16 "And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men. {16} Among all this people <there were> seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair <breadth>, and not miss."

Joshua 18:28 "And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which <is> Jerusalem, Gibeath, <and> Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This <is> the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families."

XVI) SOME OF TWELVE TRIBES PUNISHMENTS BECAUSE OF SIN:

The tribe of Dan is not among the tribulation Jewish evangelists.

The tribe of Dan is however allowed in the millennial kingdom.

The tribe of Benjamin was almost destroyed completely due to sin.

God punished the tribes because of their sin. He stilled loved them and allowed the foundation and gates of the new Jerusalem to be named after the twelve tribes.
