This paper discusses the book of Zechariah.
This is a post exile prophecy.
Zechariah is largely eschatological and apocalyptic in his outlook. Another prophet of about the same time was
Haggai who also wrote to

stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven
eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day." BRANCH is

Zechariah: Name means remembrance of the Lord. He was a Priest, born
in
Ezra 5:1 "Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah
the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that <were> in

Nehemiah 12:7 "Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These <were> the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua."
