From the beginning: Both pre-creation Jesus and Jesus ministry.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Eternal Word = Jesus (God) made flesh.

Micah 5:2 "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, <though> thou be little among the thousands of Judah, <yet> out of thee shall he come forth unto me <that is> to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth <have been> from of old, from everlasting." Everlasting = from beginning.
See my paper: "Jesus Life, Events, & Identity" for more information on this subject.
Our hands have handled:
Luke 24:39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." Jesus, after his resurrection, was touched by nearly all his apostles then later by Thomas.
The word of life:
John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."

Life was manifested: See also John 1:14 above. Webster defines manifested: apparent to mind/senses, evident, reveal, & shown.
Acts 10:39-41 "And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: {40} Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly; {41} Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, <even> to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead."
Mark 4:22 "For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad." God's word defines manifested: to reveal & open.

As he, so us.

CONFORM TO STANDARD (CONDITIONS OF DIVINE FELLOWSHIP):
1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that /\ God /\ is [ light ], and in /\ Him /\ is no darkness at all." God is the very source of light. Light = life = Jesus.
Message:
John 8:12 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
Other scriptures of what God is:
God is Light:
Manifested, revealed, knowledge, understanding, holy, purity, perfection, truth, guidance, enlightenment, wisdom, glory, & revelation.
John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
John 1:9 "<That> was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."
John 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
1 Timothy 6:16 "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom <be> honour and power everlasting. Amen."
God is Spirit:
John 4:24 "God <is> a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship <him> in spirit and in truth."
God is Love: His characteristic by nature. Like we are human.
1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
God is a consuming fire:
Hebrews 12:29 "For our God <is> a consuming fire."
1 John 1:6 "If we say that we have [ fellowship ] with /\ Him /\, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the [ truth ]:"
We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 JOHN THEME: WE/HE SAY - MAN'S FALSE PROFESSIONS {1 JOHN 1:6 - 4:20}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) {1 JOHN 1:6} We say we fellowship with Jesus & walk in the darkness we lie
(2) {1 JOHN 1:8} We say we have no sin we deceive ourselves
(3) {1 JOHN 1:10} We say we have not sinned, we make Jesus a liar
(4) {1 JOHN 2:4} He say I know Him, we do not keep His commandments is a liar
(5) {1 JOHN 2:6} He say he abides in Jesus, he should so walk, as Jesus walked
(6) {1 JOHN 2:9} He say he hates his brother, is in darkness
(7) {1 JOHN 4:20} He say he loves God & hate his brother, he is a liar
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walk in darkness = iniquities/sins: Sin broke fellowship at Eden.
Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: {2} But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid <his> face from you, that he will not hear."
See my paper: "Walk as Jesus Walked" for more information on this subject.
By birth nature were sinners: By new birth nature are in Spirit.
2 Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
Ephesians 2:3 "Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."
WHAT: Walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another
1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the [ light ], as /\ he /\ is in the [ light ], we have [ fellowship ] one with another, and the blood of M Jesus M T Christ T /\ God /\ M Son M cleanseth us from all [ sin ]." As he, so us: 1 John theme.
WAY: The blood of Jesus Christ God Son cleans us from all sin
Walk in the light/spirit versus walk in flesh:
Romans 8:4 "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Other Walk in scriptures: Walk = Live
Galatians 5:16 "<This> I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
Colossians 4:5 "Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time."
Romans 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
Ephesians 5:2 "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."
2 John 1:4 "I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 JOHN THEME: AS HE - SO US {1 JOHN 1:7 - 4:17}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) {1 JOHN 1:7} As Jesus is in the light, so we should we walk in the light
(2) {1 JOHN 2:6} As Jesus walked, so we should walk
(3) {1 JOHN 3:2} As Jesus is, so we should be like Him
(4) {1 JOHN 3:3} As Jesus is pure, so we should purify ourselves
(5) {1 JOHN 3:7} As Jesus is righteous, so we should do righteous things
(6) {1 JOHN 3:23} As Jesus gave us His commandment, so we should obey His commandment of love
(7) {1 JOHN 4:17} As Jesus was in the world, so we are in the world
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no [ sin ], we deceive ourselves, and the [ truth ] is not in us." We say = false profession. We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
Sin root of old nature removed, not occasional sins of weak flesh.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KEY WORD: TRUTH {1 JOHN 1:6 - 5:6}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) {1 JOHN 1:6} If we say we have fellowship with God, but walk in darkness we lie & are not in the truth.
(2) {1 JOHN 1:8} If we say we have not sinned we are deceived & are not in truth.
(3) {1 JOHN 2:4} He says I know Him & does not keep His commandments is a liar & is not in the truth.
(4) {1 JOHN 2:21} Have not written because you know not the truth, but you know it, & no lie is of the truth.
(5) {1 JOHN 2:27} Abide in the anointing so no man teach you for the anointing is truth & no lie so abide in Him.
(6) {1 JOHN 3:18} Love not in word nor tongue, but in deed and truth.
(7) {1 JOHN 3:19} We know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before Him.
(8) {1 JOHN 4:6} We are of God and Christians hear us. Here is how we know by the spirit of truth.
(9) {1 JOHN 5:6} This came by water & blood, Jesus and the Spirit bears witness because the Spirit is truth.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have no sin: We are either deceived or not truthful.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
James 4:17 "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth <it> not, to him it is sin."
Romans 14:23 "And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because <he eateth> not of faith: for whatsoever <is> not of faith is sin."
Paul was a sinner:
1 Timothy 1:15 "This <is> a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." Paul near his end of life says he is a sinner.
Peter was a sinner:
John 13:9-10 "Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also <my> hands and <my> head. {10} Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash <his> feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all." Clean from Sin's principle, but need washing from daily sins, adhesion to the flesh, we commit.
Galatians 2:11-12 "But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. {12} For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision."
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our [ sins ], M he M is faithful and just to forgive us <our> [ sins ], and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
WHILE: We confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
We confess and then God does all the work: forgives/cleans/forget.
Jeremiah 31:34 "And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Cleanse us so that the sin is gone.
Confession implies repentance & sorrow. Righteousness means right (pure) standing before God which can only be through Jesus blood.
See my paper: "Forgiveness of Sins" for more information on this subject.
1 John 1:10 "If we say that we have not [ sinned ], we make M him M a liar, and M his M word is not in us." We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
We have sinned/We make God a liar: God says we all have sinned.

Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" One man started it, but we are guilty of sinning too.
1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things [ write ] I unto you, that ye [ sin ] not. And if any man [ sin ], we have an advocate with the /\ Father /\, M Jesus M T Christ the righteous:" Advocate = one pleading for us
That ye sin not:
Psalms 119:11 "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Titus 2:11-12 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, {12} Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"
Ezekiel 36:27 "And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do <them>."

Romans 8:4 "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Galatians 5:16 "<This> I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
Advocate: Sin not, but if we do, God has a lawyer to defend us.
1 Timothy 2:5 "For <there is> one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" Lawyer (Jesus) to stands by us.

Hebrews 7:25 "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Other advocates in scriptures:
Psalms 106:23 "Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy <them>."
Ezekiel 22:30 "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
See my paper: "Salvation Biblical Word Glossary" for more information on this subject.
1 John 2:2 "And T he T is the propitiation for our [ sins ]: and not for ours only, but also for <the [ sins ] of> the whole world." Propitiation in 1 John 4:10 also
Propitiation: That (Jesus) which satisfied God's scale of justice.
Romans 3:24-25 "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: {25} Whom God hath set forth <to be> a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"
Not ours only, sins of any in the world: Sufficient vs efficient.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 17:21-23 "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, <art> in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. {22} And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: {23} I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." As he, so us.
Jesus Commandments: Jesus gave three below. Love fulfills them all.
Matthew 22:37-40 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. {38} This is the first and great commandment. {39} And the second <is> like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. {40} On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

See my paper: "What Does God Really Want?" for more information on this subject.
1 John 2:4 "He that saith, I [ know ] M him M, and keepeth not M his M commandments, is a liar, and the [ truth ] is not in him." We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
See my paper: "Original Sin & Its Results" for more information on this subject.
1 John 2:5 "But whoso keepeth M his M word, in him verily is the [ love ] of /\ God /\ perfected: hereby [ know ] we that we are in M him M." We know - 1 John Theme.
WHY: Whosoever keeps His word, in him is the love of God perfected hereby know we are in Him
Perfected: Matured, demonstrated by experience and realized in practice by bring forth fruits of love.
Romans 13:10 "Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love <is> the fulfilling of the law."
1 John 2:6 "He that saith he abideth in M him M ought himself also so to walk, even as M he M walked." He saith = false profession. As he, so us - 1 John theme. We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
Abide in Jesus:
John 15:4-5 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. {5} I am the vine, ye <are> the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
Walk, even as he walked: See 1 John 1:7. Walk = live. Jesus example
1 Peter 2:21 "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:"
1 John 2:7 "Brethren, I [ write ] no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning."
Old commandment modified by Jesus command to love as he loved:
1 John 2:8 "Again, a new commandment I [ write ] unto you, which thing is true in M him M and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true [ light ] now shineth." True light = revelation of Christ God.

1 John 2:9 "He that saith he is in the [ light ], and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now." See also 1 John 4:20. We say/he say, Man's False Professions - 1 John Theme.
He saith = false profession. Darkness (Satan/evil) produces hate.
1 John 2:10 "He that [ loveth ] his brother abideth in the [ light ], and there is none occasion of stumbling in him." Cause others to fall.
None occasion of stumbling:
Jude 1:24 "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present <you> faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,"
Romans 14:13 "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in <his> brother's way."
1 Corinthians 1:23 "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;"
1 John 2:11 "But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." Prey for false doctrines, stumble.

2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
1 John 2:15 "[ Love ] not the world, neither the things <that are> in the world. If any man love the world, the [ love ] of the /\ Father /\ is not in him." World system organized and headed by Satan. Not God first.
WAY: Love not the world, neither the things in the world, the love of the Father is not in him Continue 2:16
Love not the world/things of the world: World system of lust/things
Romans 1:25 "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

See my paper: "Sermon on the Mount" for more information on this subject.
Fulfill law: If love God with all heart, soul & might no love left
Romans 13:10 "Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love <is> the fulfilling of the law." See also 1 John 4:19.
WAY: All in the world, the lust of flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life is not of the Father
1 John 2:16 "For all that <is> in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the /\ Father /\ , but is of the world." World = treasure/pleasures/honors
Lust of the flesh/lust of eyes/pride of life - Universal sins:
Seen in Jesus temptations by Devil in Matthew 4:1-11 & Luke 4:1-14.
Seen in Eve's sin in Genesis 3:6.
Lust of the flesh: If Son God, command these stones to bread.
Eve saw tree was good for food.
Lust of the eyes: If Son of God, cast thyself down from pinnacle.
Eve saw it was pleasant to the eyes.
Pride of life: All these thing I give Jesus, if worship Satan.
Eve saw tree to be desired to make one wise.
Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree <was> good for food, and that it <was> pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make <one> wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."
WANT: The world passes away, and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God abides forever.
1 John 2:17 "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of /\ God /\ abideth for ever."
AFFIRMATION (WORLD LOVE BRINGS ANTICHRIST):
1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that [ antichrist ] shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
Last times/days: Start with Jesus and continue to this generation.

2 Peter 3:3 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,"
2 Timothy 3:1-2 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. {2} For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Antichrist: Spirit of demonic forces behind Antichrist.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for <that day shall not come>, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; {4} Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. {5} Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? {6} And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. {7} For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth <will let>, until he be taken out of the way. {8} And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: {9} <Even him>, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, {10} And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."
Revelation 13:1-7 "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. {2} And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as <the feet> of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. {3} And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. {4} And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who <is> like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? {5} And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty <and> two months. {6} And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. {7} And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number <is> Six hundred threescore <and> six."

Revelation 13:20 "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."
1 John 2:19 "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would <no doubt> have continued with us: but <they went out>, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
See my paper: "Antichrist" for more information on this subject.
They went out from us/they were not of us:
1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"
Jude 4 "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Peter 4:17 "For the time <is come> that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if <it> first <begin> at us, what shall the end <be> of them that obey not the gospel of God?"
2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"
1 John 2:20 "But ye have an unction from the /\ Holy One /\, and ye [ know ] all things." Unction = the act of anointing. Holy one = God.
Unction from the Holy one / ye know all things:
John 14:26 "But the Comforter, <which is> the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
1 John 2:21 "I have not written unto you because ye [ know ] not the [ truth ], but because ye [ know ] it, and that no lie is of the [ truth ]."
1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that M Jesus M is the T Christ T? He is [ antichrist ], that denieth the /\ Father /\ and the M Son M."
Liar, the man Jesus is not Christ/God: Therefore, Anti (against).
John 8:44 "Ye are of <your> father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
Matthew 12:30 "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
1 John 2:23 "Whosoever denieth the M Son M, the same hath not the /\ Father /\: <(but>) <he that acknowledgeth the M Son M hath the /\ Father /\ also>." Jesus and the Father are one. Can not split Godhead.
See my paper: "Godhead Relationship" for more information on this subject.
Denies the Son/same has not the Father:
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:8-9 "Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. {9} Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou <then>, Show us the Father?" God is a Triunity. See any (Godhead), see all of them.
John 15:23 "He that hateth me hateth my Father also."
2 John 1:9 "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son."
AFFIRMATION (STAND FIRM AGAINST WORLD LOVE):
1 John 2:24 "Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the M Son M, and in the /\ Father /\."
Ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you: Jesus/word.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus is the eternal word.
John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
1 John 2:25 "And this is the promise that M he M hath promised us, <even> eternal life." Eternal life: See also 1 John 1:2 & 5:11-13.
He hath promised us:
Numbers 23:19 "God <is> not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do <it>? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
Matthew 28:18 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Jesus will do it.
1 John 2:26 "These <things> have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you." Purpose of John's letter. Seduce = lead wrong.
1 John 2:27 "But the /\ anointing /\ which ye have received of M him M abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same /\ anointing /\ teacheth you of all things, and is [ truth ], and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in M him M."
WHAT: Anointing you received of Him abides in you & need no man to teach you as the anointing teaches all
Anointing which ye have received / teaches you of all things:
John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, <that> shall he speak: and he will show you things to come."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know <them>, because they are spiritually discerned."
AFFIRMATION (STAND FIRM PRODUCES CONFIDENCE):
1 John 2:28 "And now, little children, abide in M him M; that, when M he M shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before M him M at M his M coming." Jesus is coming back again.
Abide in him: Continue in him/They will know you by your fruits.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, ye <are> the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
John 15:8 "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
When he shall appear/at his coming: 2nd coming/rapture/our death.
Acts 1:11 "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
We may have confidence/not be ashamed: Also 1 John 3:21, 4:17, 5:14
1 Corinthians 3:11-15 "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. {12} Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; {13} Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. {14} If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. {15} If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
1 John 2:29 "If ye [ know ] that M he M is righteous, ye [ know ] that every one that doeth righteousness is [ born ] of M him M." We know - 1 John Theme.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) {1 JOHN 2:29} Everyone that does righteousness is born of Him.

(5) {1 JOHN 5:4} Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes our faith.
(6) {1 JOHN 5:18} We know that whosoever is born of God sins not, but he is begotten of God to keep himself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Born of him - regeneration - saved - begotten - born again/above:
John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
See my paper: "True Gospel of Salvation by the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.

PROOF OF OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE: We know and God gave us his Spirit.

Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8).
- Magnitude: Best. (What manner of love. - 1 John 3:1).
- Free: Bestowed on us. (1 John 3:1) (Can not merit it. Not worthy of it. - Eph. 2:8). - Goal: We shall be like him. (1 John 3:2) (Conformed to his image. - Romans 8:29).
GOD IS RIGHTEOUS LOVE: God's nature is love (1 John 4:8).
1 John 3:1 "Behold, what manner of [ love ] the /\ Father /\ hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of /\ God /\: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew M him M not." Restored fellowship
WHO: We should be called the sons of God
Sons of God: Children of God born from above.
John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, <even> to them that believe on his name:"
1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of /\ God /\, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we [ know ] that, when M he M shall appear, we shall be like M him M; for we shall see M him M as M he M is." As he, so us: 1 John theme. We know - 1 John Theme.
WAY: When He shall appear, we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) {1 JOHN 1:7} If we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with Him.
(2) {1 JOHN 2:6} He says he abide in Him so should walk as He walked.
(3) {1 JOHN 3:2} When He shall appear, we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is.
(4) {1 JOHN 3:3} Every man that has this hope purifies himself as He is pure.
(5) {1 JOHN 3:7} He that does righteousness is righteous as He is righteous.
(6) {1 JOHN 3:23} We should believe on Jesus and love one another, as He gave us the commandment.
(7) {1 JOHN 4:17} Love because as He is, so are we in this world.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does not yet appear what we shall be/we shall be like him:
Colossians 3:2-4 "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. {3} For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. {4} When Christ, <who is> our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory."
1 Corinthians 15:52-53 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. {53} For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal <must> put on immortality."
Philippians 3:21 "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself."
1 Corinthians 13:12 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."
Psalms 17:15 "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness."
Romans 8:29-30 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate <to be> conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. {30} Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
See my paper: "Entry into the Holy of Holies" for more information on this subject.
1 John 3:3 "And every man that hath this hope in M him M purifieth himself, even as M he M is pure."As he, so us: 1 John theme
WHILE: Every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself
Hope in him purifies himself:
Titus 2:13-14 "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; {14} Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
Galatians 3:23-25 "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. {24} Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster <to bring us> unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. {25} But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."
No hope:
Ephesians 2:12 "That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world"
1 John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for [ sin ] is the transgression of the law." Sin is lawlessness.
Committees sin transgresses the law:
Romans 3:20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law <is> the knowledge of sin." Doing deeds of law is not the means of being justified.
Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."
Sin: Man is drawn away enticed by lust; lust conceives & bears sin.
Lust: Word in one sense evil, yet used in Bible other ways.
1 Peter 1:12 - Angels desire to look into; Jesus in Luke 22:15 -With desire, I have.. passover; Paul in Phil. 1:23 - desire depart. Desire is not sin, but in back of every sin is desire. It is how lust (desire) is satisfied that determines if it is sin. Satan -Drawn away = from safety to trap. Entices = bait wrong/fast method.
1 John 3:5 "And ye [ know ] that M he M was manifested to take away our [ sins ]; and in M him M is no [ sin ]." We know - 1 John Theme. The purpose of Jesus coming.
WHAT: He was manifested to take away our sins and in Him is no sin
He was manifested to take away our sins: By destroying Devils works
Colossians 2:15 "<And> having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."
Hebrews 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;"
In him is no sin:
Hebrews 9:14 "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
1 Peter 1:18-19 "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, <as> silver and gold, from your vain conversation <received> by tradition from your fathers; {19} But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:"
John 8:29 "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him."
1 Peter 2:22 "Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:"
1 John 3:6 "Whosoever abideth in M him M [ sinneth ] not: whosoever [ sinneth ] hath not seen M him M, neither known M him M."
Abides in him sins not: While Abiding, life's way, we won't sin
John 15:3-5 "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. {4} Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. {5} I am the vine, ye <are> the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
1 John 3:7 "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as M he M is righteous." As he, so us: 1 John theme.
See my paper: "Imputed/Reckoned/Counted Righteousness of Jesus" for more information on this subject.
No man deceive you / does righteousness is righteous:
Matthew 7:16-18 "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? {17} Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. {18} A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither <can> a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."
1 John 3:8 "He that committeth [ sin ] is of the devil; for the devil [ sinneth ] from the beginning. For this purpose the M Son M of /\ God /\ was manifested, that M he M might destroy the works of the devil."
He that committees sin is of the devil: As a way of life (habit) and has the nature of the devil in him. Jesus came to destroy the devil's works in the heart and lives of Christians. Jesus eliminates the Sin principle, nature, from our life.
He might destroy the works of the devil: Life - death/truth - lie.
John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have <it> more abundantly."
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Devil is liar.
Devil: Wicked one (2:13, 3:12, 5:18); Sinned from beginning (3:8, John 8:44); Instigator of human sin (3:8, 3:12); Cain under devil's control (3:12); Children of devil (3:10); World in wickedness (5:19); God keeps us from devil (5:18); Christ overcome devil (2:13-14, 4:4, 5:4); & Christ destroy devil's works (3:8).
1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is [ born ] of /\ God /\ doth not commit [ sin ]; for /\ his /\ seed remaineth in M him M: and M he M cannot [ sin ], because M he M is [ born ] of /\ God /\."
WHY: Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin for His seed remains in him
Cannot sin habitually. Practice sin as a way of like. Seed = divine nature. New man can't sin because it is holy & new nature.
