This is a good aricle, though I have some problems with it: A) Albeit Leigh reveals that Coughlin lied about his source for a story falsely accusing Moammar Ghadaffi's son of money laundering , he disingenuously asserts that "there is no suggestion that Con Coughlin is dishonest in his work" B) In the case of MI6 officer, Keith Robert Craig, posing as a Balkans issues journalist, Leigh complains that Craig complaining about "'warped' and inaccurate reporting by journalists, including the BBC's Kate Adie." was baseless. This is absolutely untrue; and I figure that Leigh is, like UK doctors are reputed to do, covering his colleagues' derrieres, in this case in their appallingly biassed reporting on Balkans issues, as well as, (in both cases (A) and B)), knee-jerk leaping to defend fellow journalists.

I figure Leigh is possibly not accounting for the likelihood of some people in the "security" "services" being conflicted about the BS they see being served up, but who understandably don't want to go as far as actually "defecting" from MI5/MI6, as the heroic David Shayler and Richard Tomlinson did. Craig may have been in this category.

Anyone voting for any Labour MP in the upcoming General Election, is voting for Tony Blair.

Anyone voting for Tony Blair is aquiescing to Treason (dead and maimed British soldiers in a war based on lies), and War Crimes and thus the mass-murder of tens of thousands of Iraqis, and the maiming of many more.

A successful vote for Blair arguably makes any British citizen a valid target for any disgruntled Iraqi(s), and boy, there are a lot of them with every right to be disgruntled. To dismiss this as terrorism is to overlook the very lively terror that Tony Blair helped George Bush visit on the Iraqis.

As Bush says, if you support a "terrrist" you are a "terrrist". Don't support Bush's Terrorist Deputy in Downing Street.

Vote TACTICALLY - that is for whichever candidate has the greatest chance of defeating the Labour Candidate; irrespective of the claimed position of the candidate on the Iraq war.

Local and National issues pale into insignificance set against the waging of illegal, murderously brutal and unnecessary war. Never mind if the Labour Candidate is a "good chap" (or "chappess"); voting for them is a vote acquiescing to plain mass murder.
