Introducing the AutoCal/Automatic
Loop Calibrator...
The latest addition to our control
systems page is an automated industrial current loop calibrator which we
appropriately named...the AUTOCAL/Automatic Loop Calibrator. Running on
three 9 VDC batteries this unit will source 4-20 ma. current loops with
an industrial grade chip from Analog Devices with 16-bit resolution ! The
5 step sequencer will either Increment with a 10 second delay automatically
between each step and then repeat...OR increment in the 5 step sequence
and THEN decrement in the same sequence and time delay. Perfect for checking
industrial control systems on startups...see details below.

Using just 2 IC's and a few external parts we've been able to produce an
industrial quality 4-20 ma. automated loop calibrator. You can build one
yourself for around $ 50.00 in parts. We know there's calibrators out that
will duplicate some of these features...but they cost around $ 3,000.00
and up...
