View from deck 5, looking down atrium well.
Another view of the main atrium, this one from deck 4 showing the chandelier.
Mickey's (kid's) pool. The 'ears' are 2 small hot tubs, the yellow slide is visible in the background.
Splashdown! Heather comes down the slide. There were 2 lifeguards constantly on duty - one at the top and one at the bottom. The slide does not dump into Mickey's pool itself (which would have taken up valuable pool space), but into it's own splashdown area. Viewed from further back, you could see that the slide was held up by Mickey's white gloved hand coming out of deck 9.
The computers in the Oceaneers' Lab. All the kids loved them - so much that my daughter didn't want to do any of the group activities!
Junkanoo night at Parrot Cay. On the 4-day cruise, Junkanoo night is held in the same restaurant you were in the night before (thus fitting the 4 nights into the 3-restaurant rotation).
Common Grounds, the teen 'coffeehouse'. The teen population gathered here to meet, play games, listen to music, just generally hang out...
... or watch the big screen TV!
Family beach at Castaway Cay. I got off the ship before most everyone else and ran there to stake out a spot with an umbrella, but it turned out to be unnecessary. When Denise and the kids got there 20-30 minutes later there were still lots of open spots.
Although you can walk to the Family beach area in maybe 10 minutes, there are trams to take you there if you want. You take similar trams to get to the adults-only beach to the west of the family area.
Entering Castaway Cay from the 'pier'.
