Trilingual (French, Spanish) with some Maghrebi Arabic.

Extensive travel throughout North Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and South America, Southeast Asia, and Canada.

In 1976 I had a tense 36-hour layover in Tehran when my plane cracked a wing while touching down to refuel. We took off again four days before the Ayatollah took over.

Active interest in theatre and music. Current project: writing a musical drama with multimedia staging.
