THE
WHITE LAMBORGHINI
by Debora Hill
TONE:
A murder thriller with romantic overtones. Set in San Francisco,
similar in style and tone to The Pelican Brief and I Love Trouble
but with the visual look of Remington Steele. This script has
a distinctly 'San Franciscan' feel to both the filming and visuals.
SET UP:
An Investigative Journalist for the Associated Press becomes
involved in a murder when a body is found in the trunk of a
White Lamborghini belonging to a drug dealer. The body is of
a pregnant girl, infected with HIV. The murderer is a jealous
Transsexual who was also a lover of the drug dealer, who is
infected with full-blown AIDS.
STORY LINE:
The body of a pregnant girl is found in the trunk of a White
Lamborghini belonging to a drug-dealer. A journalist, her assistant,
and a private detective solve the crime and implicate a transsexual
who has AIDS -- it is he who infected both the drug dealer and
his dead girlfriend. There is a secondary plot involving a love
affair between the reporter and the detective.
