Relationships are affected by life threatening crises - like cancer.   This site is filled with touching stories by many people whose lives have been changed by their struggles with cancer.  Battling "The Beast" causes us to prioritize our lives.  To decide what is the most important of a possibly terminal existence.  Sometimes this struggle brings people closer.  Sometimes it separates.
