Jack, er Harry, the Jackass

Every weekend "Jack" is on our tour of Shell Beach and Avila Beach.  He will give you "that face" if you feed him carrots and apples from Avila Barn.

This is your Quest:  If you take Higuera Street from San Luis Obispo, Harry is on the access road towards Avila Beach.  He was adopted by his present owners when he was 10 years old and LOVES carrots and apples.

My brother Scott and I know this jackass' name is Harry.   But because our father was raised in the Ozarks with his mule "Jack", we just started calling Harry "Jack".  Our Dad, Clyde Emmett Douglas, wrote "Tales of An Ozark Boy".

Harry is a famous jackass.  His photo was in the Central Coast Tribune during the Presidential election.
