Lynn Zachreson had the Cougar Dream three days before doctors discovered she had Cancer. This dream gave her the certain knowledge that she would heal from her cancer. It gave her the courage to face her fear and reach for the joy that is her life. Lynn has been cancer free since May of 1998, and has altered her lifestyle to fully give herself to her passion.
Lynn Zachreson is a painter. She has been painting and teaching for the past 20 years, and working from her dreams for over 10 years. The paintings that are being inspired by the cougar dream have been a central part of her recovery from cancer.
She and her health care providers brought together traditional western medicine and alternative medical practices rooted in acupuncture, chi gong, and dream work. She has shared the beginnings of Painter Dreams in the Land of Enchantment and this dream story with others also on a healing path. Many who hear the dream story and view the paintings have acknowledged archetypal triggers that have brought significant understanding to their own inner experiences.
