Self-Catering? We can help!

Full service catering, while very nice, can be pricey.
Often, you want to plan an event and handle the details without making the actual food.
On the other hand, you might not want your event to look like it all came from Sam’s.
That’s where we can help, with party trays with a touch of Hyphen originality.

Various and Sundry Hors d’Oeuvres (35 pieces) $30.00
A party tray of Spanakopita and Tyropita triangles, Quiche squares and a variety of decorative finger foods involving our breads. We can do a vegetarian or mixed selection.

Classic Deli Tray $30.00
Smoked turkey, turkey ham, swiss cheese, monterey jack cheese and all sorts of sandwich fixings, attractively arranged. We can include sliced homemade breads for $3.25/loaf.

Veggies ‘n Dips $24.00
A variety of fresh vegetables a selection of homemade dips, attractively arranged on a 16” tray.

Sandwich or Wrap Selection $4.50/head sandwiches, $4.75/head wraps
A variety of sandwiches, cut in half and trayed up. These allow people to mix and match, or munch lightly. Can be paired with soup or some of our side dishes. We can also do this with wraps.

Chef Salad $28.50
Lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, celery, cucumbers, bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, sprouts, hard boiled eggs, turkey ham, smoked turkey, Swiss and Monterey Jack cheeses with Hyphen bread and a selection of dressings.

Greek Salad $27.50
Lettuce tossed with our viniagrette, cucumbers, bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, potato salad, pepperoncinis, marinated mushrooms, calamata olives and feta cheese. Provided with pita points. If you prefer, the dressing can be provided on the side.

You can get them all the with

Comes on a 16” tray.

What can I get for $10.00/head?

Full service caterers are often asked this question,
and there usually is no good answer.
With this in mind, we offer the salad lunch.

Salad Lunch $10.00/head

The salad lunch includes platters of our tuna and/or egg salad,
and a choice of slaw, potato salad, tabouli, fruit and/or potato chips.
Hyphen breads are included, along with cookies, iced tea and/or lemonade.

Items priced per head have a minimum of ten people.
We need at least 2 days (not including weekends) advance notice on all orders, but if you know sooner, please tell us.
We are a small shop, and it helps us to plan better.
Prices do not include tax. Our trays are 16” plastic trays.
If you would prefer something arranged on your own trays, we will be happy to do that.

The Hyphen can be rented outside of operating hours for private functions.
$50 an hour...$100 minimum
We can also cater your event at the the Hyphen.
(This can include all kinds of things that we are not comfortable sending out the door.)
