James Arthur Penrod

James Arthur Penrod was born on May 7, 1889 in Pinetop, Arizona. He was the fifth child born to David Israel Penrod and Cynthia Ann Smith.

His first marriage was to Hilda Elizabeth Hale, daughter of Michael Barkdull Hale and Algina Lovina McDaniel. James and Hilda were the parents of three boys: An infant, Verl Jefferson, and Clarence H.

James second marriage was to Dora Beatrice Hansen, daughter of James Hansen and Olive Adelaid Laxton on August 3, 1923 in Gallup, New Mexico. James and Dora were the parents of two girls: Dorothy Sue and Bessie Opal.

James Arthur Penrod passed away on March 12, 1960 in Lakeside, Arizona and was laid to rest in Lakeside.
