Elnora Penrod Baird

Elnora Penrod was born on June 12, 1870 in Provo, Utah. She was the eighth child born to William Lewis Penrod and Polly Ann Young. The order of their children were Mary Ann, David Israel, Heber Lewis, Temperance Susan, Delbert Abraham, Albert Nathaniel, Ephraim A., Elnora, Liona, Liola, John Ralph, Mazetta, and Geneva.

On May 25, 1885 Elnora married George Edward Beckstead, son of George Washington Beckstead and Araminta Churbery Allen in Logan, Utah. They were the parents of George Edward Jr., born November 16, 1886 in South Jordan, Utah.

After George Sr. passed away Elnora married James Alexander Baird, son of Richard Alexander Baird and Margaret Henrietta Camp. Elnora and James were married on October 11, 1888 in Show Low, Arizona. They were the parents of three children: James Alexander Jr., born October 26, 1890 in Concho, Arizona, Maggie Mae born November 2, 1892 in Pinetop, Arizona, and Elnora, born September 24, 1894 in Concho, Arizona.

Elnora passed away on October 11, 1894 in Concho, Arizona at the young age of twenty-four. She was buried in Concho.
