I began writing music in what we would now call a progressive rock style when I was about 12 or 13 years old.  None of this is in what I consider my currently active repertoire but some of the pieces I still rather enjoy (if only privately and with some close friends).  The one's listed here constitute the pieces that I still listen to and even tinker with from time to time.  Each piece is listed in a separate table showing a history of the revisions which the piece has undergone.

The opening flute solo provided much of the material for my first orchestral work (The Peace Suite), long since withdrawn.

This movement was later removed from this piece and incorporated into Child of the Dawn (q.v., below). Parts of it also appear in a (withdrawn) piece for solo piano called Toccata in a.
