For me, life is an adventure and it's an adventure that's richest when I'm discovering new places in the world.  Whether it's a quick day trip to a new part of my home state or flying halfway around the world for an extended stretch, I love to travel and I love to share the stories of my adventures with anyone who cares to listen.  

This site is the beginning of what will hopefully become a very large-scale public diary of my travels.  It's initial focus will be what I hope are entertaining anecdotes about some of the places I've been, enhanced with photos I've taken there.  In the future, I hope to add an increasing amount of genuinely useful tips and reference data.
