| Welcome. Well, the 2002 boating season has concluded! My boat is now safely winterized and shrinkwrapped for hte winter. I hope to launch on April 19, 2003. Now there is the LONG wait for spring to arrive. Feel Free to wrte me at boatcards@hotmail.com to tell of your experiences with your boat. |

| New Your Waterway has started service from
Melford, NJ to Manhattan in November, 2002. An obvious attempt to provide
competition to SeaStreak's South Amboy and Highlands/Atlantic Highlands service, they are
running quite a full schedule. Check out their website at http://www.nywaterway.com. Seastreak has finally begun their ferry service from South Amboy to Manhattan. Right now it's a weekly schedule and very limited. Check their site at www.seastreakusa.com and see if it will benefit you. . |

| We didn't take many trips this year. I
guess because it was a prove-out season for the re-power. The new engine seemed to
work fine. We took 2 trips, one to the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ, and the
other up the Hudson to the Catskill Marina, Catskill Creek, NY. As usual, Catskill Creek was great. Very restful, peaceful and a wonderful way to "recharge" after the stress of everyday life. One boat in our party had an engine problem that resulted in a 13 hour journey south to our homeport. It was a great way to see the Hudson and give my XO some driving time. All in all a great trip despite the long trip home. Enjoy your winter season, and hang in there. It's only 4 months til April 2003. The Editor |
