| Champlin's is a great place to
visit. Docking is sometimes difficult as there are no floating docks and many boats
are "rafted" together. But the dock hands are well accustomed
to handling boats in difficult docking situations. Amenities include
showers, laundry, gas dock and mobile pumpout (They'll come to your boat and pump it
out). Bicycle and moped rentals are available. It's about a 5 minute approximately $5.00 cab ride to the "town" area. Block Island is a MUST VISIT. It is also close to Newport, R.I, and Mystic Ct.
